I'm trying to obtain/send the "order ID" from my site's shopping orders in the new "Customer Email Notifications" editor, but so far its impossible...i require said IDs to attach them in the notification email in order to use the Squarespace API to obtain each order's data (purchase information: article, price, customer-email, etc) and store them in our database. I used to be able to do it by simply adding a command <<{order.id}>> on the confirmation email code in the old editor: Is there a way to achieve this now that the editor is changing?

  7. Site URL: https://megdyoga.com/store I have a deck of affirmation cards that I want to sell from my Squarespace store. The vendor I use to print and ship the card decks requires a plan text email with the order information to automatically process the orders. I've inquired with the SS help desk and it does not seem that is possible even with Zapier. My vendor does have some API code, but I am not a developer nor do I have the budget to hire one. My questions: Has anyone else set up anything like this and if so how? My payments get processed through Stripe, does SqSpace send order info to Stripe that I could try to send the info via Stripe with Zapier? Looking for any help I can get as I've reached the end of the line with both SS and my fulfillment vendor for help. The only other product I offer right now is a digital download so I've not run into this issue before. Thanks!
  8. I am currently using Printique print to order services for my artwork, but I have some items that don't fit their default sizes and Printique tries to crop them. I have emailed them about this with no response yet. Are there any other PTO services that integrate with Squarespace ( other than Printful ) where you can define a custom print size of the item for sale? Thanks!
  9. Our store policy is for orders to be placed by 3:00pm of the current day for next day pickup or delivery. Currently our website allows for orders to be placed up until 11:59pm for next day service. Is it possible to have the 3:00pm time frame incorporated into our site for shutting off orders for the following day?
  10. Hi all, I feel a bit stupid asking this but I've gone round in circles trying to find the answer. Is it possible to customize the text sent in the order confirmation when you have two or more of the same product or service type? (Version 7.1) I can see that you can customize to add text for each product type, but can you add further customization within that type? For example, if I sell two different digital products (e.g. an ebook and an online course), can I customize the order confirmation email so when a person purchases the ebook, they receive a specific message and link to the download, and another person purchasing the course would receive a different message with a different link? Essentially what I'm trying to do is avoid having to manually send a follow up email every time someone purchases something. I feel like there is an expectation that people receive digital goods instantly these days. Perhaps if there's no option for customising the order confirmation, is there a way to automate a secondary email for each different product? Hoping someone can help me. Thank you in advance!

Hello, If my website is going to offer a monthly subscription that allows customers to subscribe and receive cupcakes once a month, how would I track the orders of the cupcakes I sent out monthly? I understand Squarespace will send notifications of customer subscription renewals but what about the cupcakes I send out to each subscribed customer monthly? Will it have to be tracked manually?

  13. Hi, I'd like to create an extension that interacts with carts. Essentially, I want to be able to make API calls out to an external service when a user adds or removes items from a cart. I've noticed that there are no APIs in SquareSpace to interact with carts before orders are placed. I'd like to find a way to get this information. Does anyone know if there is any possible way to do this? At this point, I'm pretty new to SquareSpace, so I don't know even what I don't know. I think I want to build an extension that can somehow interact with cart data, but I don't even see much documentation about building extensions. Is there any info out there about extension development? Thanks for any help you can give!

I had 2 customers already that ordered and didn't get the confirmation e-mail of their order, but I have received their order on my end fine. Both users use @gmail.com and @outlook.com I do understand there prob are heaps of ways for my email to be in spam/junk or not even getting it with settings on their end. I don't do campaigns, I don't spam customers. Just wondering, is there a way to know if my business email could be counted as spam or junk?

There's a glitch with the font where it looks like "Order ConOrmed". I have no idea why this is happening, and I am not attached to having the heading 1 font for this page. How do I change the font or fix this issue? I tried changing this text to heading 2 in the custom-css but I think I did it wrong because it has not changed. Any help is appreciated!

So basically there are 2 thank you pages for each specific course the other course has just 3 schedules thats why its a products. I know it need some code injection and just specify some order ID. Here is an example: We are selling a box of beers, we want to extract daily the orders with the corresponding SKU of beer boxes or by category and automatically forward the quantity and the shipping address of customers to an external organization which manages packaging and shipping by their own for our company. Actually, we are making this operation manually but we would like to improve an algorithm for this purpose. Any suggestion? Enrico

Site URL: https://foreverincrystal.com/customize-your-order I am working on a custom checkout process for a customer that allows their products to be customized with either a message or image on any selected product. After significant research and testing, I've determined that the best solution is to create a custom form (using getform) that the customer is redirected to after completing their checkout. I use the following script to redirect the user to the customize order form: <script> window.location.replace("/customize-your-order"); </script> Everything works great, the redirect happens correctly, and the form submissions appears and works when the fields are completed. The issue is that the user experience is not ideal. As a customer, I need to know my order number and other detailed to manually input them in the form. I'd like to pass the orderId to the customize-your-order form so that I can preload the fields for the user. Does anyone know if there is a way for me to pass the orderId to the custom squarespace page on redirect so that I can get the order details and preload them for the user? Side note, if anyone has any suggestions for a better way to add either a message or image a product, I am open to suggestions. The requirement is that if an image can be upload when selecting the product to add to the cart, that image must also be able to be changed in the shopping cart. I found that this is not possible leading me to my current approach.

  24. Hi everyone. Just got my website finally set up. I tested the shop and got my partner to buy something, all seems to work fine. However, other than an email, where does it actually notify you of new orders? I can see the orders tab which it does show in, but there was no notification if I had not clicked into it. I was expecting maybe a red circle with a '1' in it or something along those lines to appear next to the orders tab to let me know there is something waiting. Or something along those lines at least. Also, possibly just wishful thinking. But I have come from Etsy, so I am used to seeing my sales listed pretty clearly, with images, showing the variations purchased etc making it dead easy to pack my orders without mistakes. Squarespace seems very... difficult. Super small text, especially when viewing what delivery option they have picked ( worried I will not notice when it is tracked over standard shipping ) no pictures etc.. I don't expect it to be perfect but I am wondering if there is a way for me to change any of the above? Thanks for any advice!

We are a market bakery that turn off online orders at 10am twice a week, Wednesday (category) and Friday (category). Right now I am manually changing the inventory to 0 for those items, so anything that will be less time consuming will be helpful.
