  1. Hello everyone. I am building 5 long pages that introduces 5 products. As visitors scroll down the long pages, they are kind lost of which product they are on. So is it possible to add text like" Product 1" and then set it fixed ,so that the "Product 1" title will follow as we scroll down the page? Thank you.
  2. Site URL: https://www.oceanistanbul.com/ I built a portfolio page with sub-pages. Everything works well, but I want to be able to navigate to each of the sub-pages from the navigation menu at the site header by hovering over the portfolio's link and selecting the sub-page title.
  3. Site URL: https://nonagon-cricket-srz2.squarespace.com/config/help Hi, is there an easy way to have my header like this: Name/title (on LHS). Logo (in the middle) Navigation menu and contact button (on RHS) It seems to me that you can either have the site title or logo but not both. Please see current homepage image attached where I've used a workaround by just having the title as a separate text box below the header. But I'd like to know if I could have it all in the header please? Thanks.
  4. Site URL: https://www.spagettyimages.co/rawspaghetti Hi! I just noticed that when I try to view my site on mobile, the logo and the navigation bar don't appear. Would love any help that anyone could give me, as I feel like I've tried everything to fix this, but alas, no luck. Also if it helps, I've been using Safari 14.0.3
  5. Site URL: https://www.wij.design/ Hello! So I use Squarespace to host my portfolio. My home screen has a list of past projects. The hawley template allows me to choose an image that fills the screen when I hover over the project page link. I've been resizing the image, in my image (if that makes sense). The image I'm uploading to Squarespace is a mostly white background, with my project image resized and placed in the part of the screen I want it to pop up on. Is there any way for me to edit the size and placement of this image, so that I don't have to forma
  6. Hey everyone! In 7.1, how would you set the header to a "Fixed position", on only one specific page? I.e., on all other pages it should disappear when you start to scroll. I've searched high and low and it appears that no one has addressed this issue yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Pierre
  7. Not a live site yet, but I'd like to create a sidebar that stays on the left as you scroll down the page (Background, Problem, Solution, Process, etc.) in addition to the existing sticky header navigation (About, Work, Contact, etc) Is there any way to do this with custom CSS? I've attached an example. The scrolling sidebar should be DIFFERENT between each page. Thank you!
  8. Site URL: https://wolverine-ocelot-jsdw.squarespace.com/ Hi, I'm trying to make the black background of the navigation drop downs, slightly transparent, about 25%. The current CSS I have for the font color upon hover and background color is: .header-nav-folder-content { background: #000000 !important; } .header-nav .header-nav-item--folder .header-nav-folder-content .header-nav-folder-item:hover a { color: #3498DB !important; } Thank you ahead of time!
  9. Site URL: https://www.thelostline.com/ Hi there, Is there a way of just adding an extra line to the burger icon rather than switching the actual image? I have tried switching the image with this code but then you lose the close cross. .burger-box div { display: none; } .burger-box { background-image: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/603d17badde1340721bf9aa6/t/603e0cfa2a57340f6d743b47/1614679290787/Burger-icon.png); background-size: contain; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: center center
  10. Site URL: https://fulcrum-diligence.squarespace.com/ I'm sure this is super simple, but would be very grateful if someone could let me know where I am going wrong please!! I have included this CSS to have both change of colour on hover and a line underneath each nav item when on that page (active). It works for normal page items, but doesn't appear underneath the folder nav items when any of the items under the folders are active. This is what I have: .Header-nav-item:hover { color: #00b5e2 !important; } .header-nav-folder-item--active { border-bottom: 2px
  11. Hey! Wondering if I could get some code help on the site I design. https://www.zdigital.com/ I want to fix the nav to the top of the page when a user scrolls past the header, turning into a new color. #333333 Could not get the code in other posts to work for me on my site. I already have the following in CSS for other things. Not sure if I would need to change any of It if I'd need to body { text-align: justify }; p, h1, h2, h3 { -webkit-hyphens: manual !important; -moz-hyphens: manual !important; -ms-hyphens: manual !important; hyphens: manual !important; }; .collection-
  12. Site URL: http://wotwnyc.com Hello, does anyone know how to not have the blow code display: " data-animation-role="header-element">Reservations This is now visible at: wotwnyc.com Thank you!
  13. Site URL: http://wotwnyc.com Hi Squarespace Community! Please see here: wotwnyc.com I have linked the current reservations as present in the site nav, however I'd like to apply a script to apply the widget and Resy button, here's the the original code block (note, we're hosted via Squarespace): <a href="https://resy.com/cities/ny/writing-on-the-wall" id="resyButton-bpRtWhwJeDqaKYkQZWcXc">Book your Writing On The Wall reservation on Resy</a> <script src="https://widgets.resy.com/embed.js"></script> <script> resyWidget.addButton(document.getE
  14. Hey, could anyone help me with code injection issue? I'm using Version 7.0– Brine family (Impact template), as a bilingual site. I managed to use the navigation in each language with a page header code injection, which helps me to hide the other language navigation buttons. It was working fine, but I just discovered, that altough I shift from language 1 to language 2, the navigation remains language 1 (on mobile as well). I think the code is ok, because on squarespace it works fine (in editorial mode). Site is here: www.molton.hu I use this code (in case of language 1): <styl
  15. Site URL: https://blackbird-pelican-7jzx.squarespace.com/ I did a one page website in english, with this tutorial on youtube. All good it works. BUT, if I want to add a french version of my english page, how can I do it? Cheers
  16. Site URL: http://islaskincare.com Hi there, Rright now I have a mobile slide out menu on my website http://islaskincare.com. I've attached a photo to show what it looks like as of right now. I'd like to add opacity and darken the content behind the menu (when the menu is opened) so the user can focus on the menu and navigational links. Right now there's no clear differentiation between the menu when it's opened and the page content. So far I've just used CSS to make the menu. Thank you!
  17. I'm using Squarespace 7.1 is there any way to make just the header navigation button to the"outline" style without changing the rest of the buttons? There's not an option for it in header button so I'm wondering if it has to be CSS. Something like: .header-actions-action .btn { style: outline !important; } Although, this CSS doesn't work of course 🤦‍♂️ Thanks!
  18. Site URL: https://www.niche.wedding/ Hi, I'm trying to add a second button to my navigation, underneath the current button. Is there any code that I can use to so this? Thanks
  19. Site URL: https://emu-maracas-4rxy.squarespace.com/ Hi, Is there a way to create a "navigation map" at the top of certain pages? I'm not sure of the technical term for this, so I'm including a photo example (see below: "Uniqlo Home Page / Women / Joggers") It's the text-based navigation links just under the main navigation, that maps out the location of the page on the site. Is this possible? if so, any tips on the best way to create this? Thanks in advance!
  20. Site URL: https://www.fpvisuals.com I have a modal button that opens as a popup. I want to add this button to the end of my navigation bar but only on certain pages. Im not sure how to go about doing this.
  21. Site URL: https://www.laurendenitzio.com I'm currently using the Wells theme in 7.0 and the mobile menu is terrible for my current navigation setup. I wanted to switch to 7.1 to have more options to customize the mobile nav, but I don't see any easy way to have a sidebar navigation like there is in Wells. Is it possible to do that without a lot of coding? I'm capable of doing that, but am pretty annoyed that I'm having to rebuild an entire site AND custom code a side nav just to get a mobile navigation display that's not awful. I basically just want to build a site using 7.1 that looks
  22. Site URL: https://jakejensen.squarespace.com/config/pages I was just wondering how I could line up my menu items to be closer to the logo in the middle instead of to the edges of the screen. Since I've already done all that I can to make sure they are on the same line, I will need to use some CSS. I would need the left block of menu items to float right and the right block of menu items to float left. I don't even know what the menu items are listed in the CSS so I don't know how to tell it to float a certain way. I will include pictures of what I mean. Would anyone know how to do this?
  23. Site URL: https://emu-maracas-4rxy.squarespace.com/ Hi I'm trying to create a folder navigation box for the drop down links. I'm using this code: // Rounded Corners Folder Menu // .header .header-nav .header-nav-item--folder .header-nav-folder-content { border-radius: 20px; } But the drop down box background isn't showing up. The links aren't visible, and only show up when I hover over the link. I'm also using this additional styling on the navigation. Could it be interfering with the code? // Solid Pill Nav On Hover // .header-nav-item a { padding: 0px 10px
  24. Hello! Having an issue where the mobile nav drops behind the Gallery Page content, hiding the menu links. When you scroll down it sort of pops everything down and then you can see the menu items. I don't have any custom scripts in the template, regular pages like "About" and "Contact" work fine (the nav drops in front of the content, doesn't push content down). Is this a flaw or are we not supposed to use Gallery Pages for main navigational areas? Here is my site, and I'm testing on an iPhone XS:http://www.sonnygamboa.com Thanks in advance for any insight! Sonny
  25. I'd like to place a few Categories into a folder, and have the Main Link (the Folder itself) actually link to a Category too. How is that possible? Example: I need the Folder Link (Decorate) to actually take people to the Category for Decorate so I don't have to list it inside of the Folder. So basically my question is how do I turn the Folder Link into an actual link? I saw your other thread about this but it doesn't work if the links are External Links, which these are... Thanks!
