  1. Site URL: http://www.mimiceramics.com Hello! I looked all over the forum to see if I could find an answer for this and couldn't find anything, so apologies if I missed it. I know that the navigation action varies by template, some of them you have to click to get the drop down and some you can hover (like the template I use, Brine). However I'm wondering if there's any code to switch that and make it so the visitor has to actually click the icon to get the menu to open. And then I guess making sure there's a way for them to exit as well? Thanks so much!
  2. Site URL: https://yourecloser.co/ Hi there! I would like to designate a different color (blue) for the main navigation top menu of my homepage (only). All other pages can keep the current color menu (which is white). I'm working on a Mentor - SquareSpace 7.0 template Any help to make this change possible would be greatly appreciated! Thank you and don't hesitate to ask me for more info :) Jonathan
  3. Site URL: https://www.stpaulstrust.org/ I am having the worst time trying to learn the new 7.1 system. It seems to be far less customize-friendly than 7.0, and I cannot figure out how to remove the strikethrough effect on active links in my navigation (which should be an easy enough task). I tried looking in font settings and am now trying to code it out, with no luck there either. .header-nav-item a { text-decoration: none!important; } .header-nav-item a:hover { text-decoration: none!important; } .header-nav-item--active a { text-decoration: none!important;
  4. Site URL: https://www.znthtriclub.com/ Hi there, I'm hoping someone way more knowledgeable than I am might be able to help with the issue I'm facing. In short, I'm trying to replace the standard CTA button one can have in the nav bar with a bespoke image, such as the one attached here for example. Ideally, I would love this image to change depending on the page you're own (i.e. a lighter version for a darker page, and vice versa) as well as the option of having a hover action. It also needs to work on mobile. You can see on my current website where I've got to. Basically, I've

  6. Site URL: https://elephant-crane-cc3x.squarespace.com/ Hi, The font of my website is not shown in Microsoft Edge. Is there some custom CSS to solve this problem? Thanks ! It's like this: And this is how it should be (the font is Aileron)
  7. Site URL: https://www.carolynkdesigns.com/shop/?tag=SALE I have created a page just for Sale items using the tag SALE. I find that I am unable to edit the page. The page includes the title SHOP plus a repeat of some of the navigation below it. The page is built using a tag, no category. Check out the link to the page. It is out there, but it won't appear as a part of the navigation until it is fixed. I want to do two things: Change where it says Shop to For Sale Remove the navigation below the word shop. The page already has navigation on the top of the page. I've been
  8. Site URL: https://the-gun-inn-3.squarespace.com/home Is there a way I can reduce the padding around the navigation so it stays on two lines and then turns into a hamburger menu?
  9. Site URL: https://justintyner.squarespace.com/ My navigation bar is two rows, which asthetically i'm ok with, but trying to have it centered, and can't get it to happen. Any suggestions? I'm using Montauk.
  10. Hi everyone, Straight up I'm not a coder but I'm trying to achieve two things on my page: 1. Smooth Home page navigation scroll using anchors 2. Parallax Scroll where images are blocked in the background and the next section overlaps as you scroll down. Both codes work idividually, however when I combine both in the Custom CCS section, the Parallax code works and the smooth navigation stops working. What happens is when I click on a menu item, it jumps straight to that section and I loose that "smooth scroll" effect. Can you guys help me out? is it possible to have
  11. Site URL: https://orlovparis.com I have been informed by customers they can not access to the navigation menu on the mobile version.... it disappeared overnight. I am trying to fin a solution to fix it. Thanks for your help
  12. Your website’s navigation might not be the first thing you think about when setting up your website, but it is a key aspect of your customer’s experience with your brand. A smooth navigation setup can really make an impact and encourage repeat visitors. A common goal for navigation is making sure your visitors don’t have to click more than 2-3 times to get from one section of the website to another. Some achieve this by sketching their site out on paper first. Others put everything in first, then let their analytics do the talking. Everyone has different strategies to achieve their perfec
  13. Hi there, Found this awesome code, which works brilliantly for buttons. I've been trying to see how this can also be achieved for the header nav button and form button, but can't seem to target the right class. Would be great to have all buttons looking the same. Thank you! // Fade Out Line Buttom - Left To Right // .sqs-block-button-element--small { position:relative; height: 60px; line-height: 60px; text-align: center; transition: 0.5s; padding: 0 20px; cursor: pointer; -webkit-transition:0.5s; } .sqs-bl
  14. Site URL: http://www.elizabeth-pierce.com I recently changed my subnav from horizontal to vertical and I can't quite get the text to align to center. Also the text seems to be jumbled in mobile. Any suggestions on how to fix either of these issues?
  15. Site URL: https://www.thebevystore.online/shop-bevy Hello, I have a custom nav underline but on dropdown it extends further than I would like it to (see screenshot). I would like to shorten the length of it but can't figure out how to do this. I have tried width % etc. but it is not working. This is the code I have: .header-nav-item--active a { border-bottom: 4px solid #FF7CBD !important; background-image: none !important; } Anyone have any ideas?
  16. Hello everyone, I added some codes to have a multilingual website. All looks great (it's both in French & English) but the navigation menu won't display as usual. I'm on the desktop and to see the navigation menu in all pages, I have to click on the 'hamburger' icon at the top right to see the different pages (please see image below) Can you please help? Thanks
  17. Site URL: https://www.norfolkislandreef.com.au/ I am using the Avenue template for a website showing hundreds of photos of reef fish, anemones, corals etc. Therefore, I have used galleries: one gallery for the fish, one for the anemones, one for the corals and so on. I want to create an alternative way to navigate to, say, the anemone page or the fish page without having to scroll down to the bottom of what can be a very long page. I've tried using folders, but it doesn't work very well with the type of content. I was wondering if there was code I could inject to create this. Or a side bar o
  18. Site URL: https://www.thewallgroup.com I want to create a homepage navigation the same as the linked website - where the user can scroll through sections using the arrow keys or the 01-08 option on the right of the page. Is this doable, somehow utilising the sections in squarespace 7.1? There's a nice fade / section stick as you scroll through the linked, is this something else that can be done.. Would love to know!

I'd like to know how to make my horizontal product category navigation sticky so that it can always be seen by the customer instead of it directing to a new page. I have attached a screenshot. Also is there anything I need to do in order to allow access to my site? I am still designing it and it hasn't been published. Thank you in advance
  20. Does anybody know of a decent CSS fix for the following? I'd love to thicken the line a little and shift it properly below the font to more closely match the desktop view like this: If anybody knows of a decent fix, that would be amazing! No idea why the mobile nav menu is totally fixed. V
  21. Site URL: https://blenny-octagon-5nrn.squarespace.com/shop/melissa%C2%A0 I have a client's site where I have used some CSS to make the 2nd child in the shop nav a different style so it stands out. This worked fine until she added some subcategories and the CSS is applying to the 2nd item there as well. I can tweak the code to apply only to the 2nd child in the subcategory list but the other way around. The current code I'm using is below. Anyone have thoughts on a solution to exclude the subcategories from this? .products.collection-content-wrapper .nested-category-tree-wrapper li:
  22. Hello! I am trying to change the size and opacity of my dropdown menu items, so that the box fits the width of the text and the black background is only slightly visible. I used these two codes found in the forum, but nothing changed: .header-nav .header-nav-item--folder .header-nav-folder-content { width: auto; } .subnav {background-color: rgba(0,0,255,0.1) !important;}
  23. Site URL: https://www.menos.cc Hey, I'm trying to invert the logo color of my website ONLY on the navigation menu on mobile devices. (Or, even better, make my logo 'smart' so it inverts to white on dark backgrounds/images, and keeps black color on light backgrounds). Any help? Any of those options would do :)
  24. Site URL: https://jakejensen.squarespace.com/config/pages I need to align the navigation bar to be on the same line as the logo, but instead of float left and right to the edges of the screen, I need it to be a fixed position next to the logo. I have tried the spacing on the menu items but that messes things up with different screen sizes. If anyone could help me with this, that would be great! This is what the site looks like now: And this is what I would like it to look like: Website: https://jakejensen.squarespace.com/config/pages password: jakeandky
