  1. Site URL: https://www.tylerelise.com/ I'm trying to add a hover state to my logo where it just swaps for another image on the hover. Any tips on how to achieve? Thank you!
  2. Hi, i need help with the removement of the navigation from one page. I use the Moksha template. Finally i want to build a landing page without the navigation in the header. Maybe someone knows how i can do it or the CSS Code? Thank you for your help.
  3. Site URL: https://www.libertytreenj.com/ I'm trying to find out if it's possible to not have a 'home' link in the main nav bar, and simply have the page title linked to the homepage when working in the Mojave template of the Brine template family. Currently my site has 3 main nav items, 'About' being one of them. This menu item is where all my homepage items live under, but since my page title also links to the homepage, I would rather have the page title simply be the only thing in the main nav linking back to the homepage. However, if I delete the 'About' item, my entire homepage will be deleted since the homepage items are attached to it. Any workaround ideas for this?
  4. Hi friends, I am trying to trigger my navigation to change color after scrolling past the hero. Is there a way I can trigger the change by div or pixel? I currently have my nav as a sticky nav and want to keep that. this is what I'm working with. /*sticky nav https://forum.squarespace.com/topic/142732-brinekeene-sticky-navigation/#comment-184292*/ Header { position: fixed !important; top: 0 !important; left: 0 !important; right: 0 !important; } // fix mobile nav .Mobile-bar--top { position: fixed; top: 0; left: 0; right: 0; background: #173d56; } .Mobile-bar { position: fixed; z-index: 99999; } // move mobile overlay down .Mobile-overlay-menu-main { padding-top: 80px; } any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED link to site
  5. Hey! Wondering if I could get some code help on the site I design. https://www.zdigital.com/ I want to fix the nav to the top of the page when a user scrolls past the header, turning into a new color. #333333 Could not get the code in other posts to work for me on my site. I already have the following in CSS for other things. Not sure if I would need to change any of It if I'd need to body { text-align: justify }; p, h1, h2, h3 { -webkit-hyphens: manual !important; -moz-hyphens: manual !important; -ms-hyphens: manual !important; hyphens: manual !important; }; .collection-5e150xxxxx .transparent-header.view-list .banner-thumbnail-wrapper, .transparent-header.collection-type-page .banner-thumbnail-wrapper { padding: 120px 0 80px; }; .sqs-block.form-block .form-wrapper input[type=submit], { background-color:#044971; color:#fff} .sqs-block.form-block .form-wrapper:hover input[type=submit], { background-color:#066399;color:#FFF };
  6. I’d really like to have sidebar navigation on my website using Avenue. The reason I like Avenue is the ability to display single, thumbnails images that you can click to expand further on the project, whereas Wells is only a gallery. I was wondering (if it’s possible) if anyone has a code to inject into the Avenue theme that would move the top bar navigation links to the side similar to Wells. edit: Wells would be perfect if it functioned similar to Avenue, if there’s a way to not be forced to use a Gallery and have a similar thumbnail page link option like Avenue..that would be great too
  7. Site URL: https://www.grotonchiropractor.com/ I used the following code to add Google Translate to this website. Code Block in Content Body: <div id=google_translate_element></div> Code Injection Area: <script type="text/javascript" src="//translate.google.com/translate_a/element.js?cb=googleTranslateElementInit"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> function googleTranslateElementInit() { new google.translate.TranslateElement({pageLanguage: 'en'}, 'google_translate_element'); } </script> After installing the element and injecting the <script> code, the hamburger sidebar menu stopped working. I cannot quite tell, but it looks like the Google Translate screen overlay is blocking access to the sidebar menu. Any ideas how I can fix this so that my sidebar menu is still accessible with the Google Translate element added? I currently have the code removed so that the site works as intended. Any help would be appreciated!
  8. Is there any way to delete the navigation button for one page? Aka, I want to have a homepage, but I do not want a button that says "home" on the top banner. I am using a portfolio template. Thanks!
  9. Site URL: http://www.gloriayangofficial.com Hello, Any ideas how to link my subscription navigation into a lightbox popup on the main page? Right now I created a separate page for the subscription form field but I do not like how it looks. Also, I’m unable to change the subtitle text of the subscription box. See image for more info. Thank you so much!
  10. Site URL: http://collaborativeperformance.org Hi fellow Squarespace users 🙂 On our website we are currently using sticky navigation, so the navigation follows when scrolling on our page. I would really like to change that to a normal navigation that goes away when scrolling down, BUT that appears again when you, anywhere on the site, scroll back up just a tiny bit (not scroll all the way to the top). Unfortunately I haven't been able to google my way to a solution Does anyone know how to accomplish this? :-)

  12. Hello! I designed this site in 7.1 and would simply like to remove the underline on the active navigation link. This is currently not an option in the Design section of 7.1, so I will need some CSS. Any ideas? https://www.pamelaackerman.com/ Thank you!
  13. Nancy Whittlesey Today at 15:04 I've set up a page of products for my client. They won't be purchased online— it's only to provide information and pricing. My problem is when someone clicks to the detail page, the breadcrumb only takes them as far back as the category they're in. In this case, it's Windows. Is there a way that I could add to the breadcrumb so they can get back to the main page: DIY Kit Pricing? As it stands, it's pretty confusing for users to navigate. Note, I tried adding the page to the main navigation with a drop down menu of the products, but the clients likes to see all of the products on one page, so that isn't an options. Using the inspection tools I was able to figure out the required html to make it work, but I'm not a coder and don't know where to input it or if it's possible. In the images I'm showing: 1) product landing page, 2) product detail page, 3) where breadcrumb takes you to, 4) what I'd like it to do. Thanks for your help! <nav class="ProductItem-nav"> <div class=“ProductItem-nav-breadcrumb"> <a href="/DIY-Kit-Pricing" class="ProductItem-nav-breadcrumb-link">DIY Kit Pricing</a> <span class="ProductItem-nav-breadcrumb-separator"></span> <a href="/windows" class="ProductItem-nav-breadcrumb-link">Windows</a> <span class="ProductItem-nav-breadcrumb-separator"></span> <a href=“/windows/3-x-3-window-kit" class="ProductItem-nav-breadcrumb-link">3' x 3' window kit</a> </div> </nav>
  14. Site URL: https://lute-pike-n8pt.squarespace.com/ Does anyone know how I can bold a link in the navigation? As you can see in the screenshot, I would like the phone number to stand out more. Perhaps bold and even a bit bigger? pw for site is - oldwoolstore
  15. Site URL: https://tudor-demo.squarespace.com/?nochrome=false&_ga=2.19809592.1468483441.1583446190-309193801.1569957517&_gac=1.188144218.1582432081.Cj0KCQiAv8PyBRDMARIsAFo4wK1iE-Mg81A93ZQqzu_KAH2kuw_4f8Zj4_4rEqXZ5lZ2tJMcz0nDwJgaAhTQEALw_wcB On the Tudor template the navigation bar extends to show your navigation and a "side tray" section. I basically want the navigation to be half the size it is by default and only show the pages side, while showing the rest of the site in the background. I included a site that has what I want. Is there a way to this? Thanks in advanced!
  16. I am looking to disable the click event that takes you to the first page in a navigation folder; I want this for all folders in my top navigation. I am using Mercer. I want to keep the hover and drop down actions but when you click the folder text it is not clickable and does not take you anywhere. I have found many replies to this on Google but SquareSpace must have reindexed/relinked their pages because all the links on the first page of Google linking to the SquareSpace forum are dead.
  17. Site URL: https://adamfreunddesign.com/ I am looking to redesign my website (https://adamfreunddesign.com/). I have found this website, which I really like https://snp.agency/en the overall design and layout of. I would like recommendations for a template that would be a good starting point to achieve something like this website. Some features I am looking for include: 1) Left-aligned page title/logo and right aligned hamburger menu as options without custom changes to the template 2) Index pages, as is done on SNP and my website for a one-page site with different sections separated with different full-width background colors or images (Pacific, which I am currently using does this as well), where you can jump to a certain section. 3) I like that when the hamburger menu is opened, the navigation titles are right aligned. Being able to do this without custom work would be nice. 4) I like that the title/logo and the hamburger menu sticks to the top of the screen as you scroll down and that the color automatically changes to contract the background color. 5) I like that the section 6) The ability to add parallax scrolling without any special work would be nice. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any other info. Thanks!
  18. Hi, I'm trying to remove a link from the navigation bar when I'm on a certain page, but still be able to see that link when I'm on the other pages. I used to be able to do it with the secondary navigation but with Squarespace 7.1 they removed the secondary navigation.
  19. Hi! I would like to change the "email" text as well as the icon displayed on mobile from the navigation header of my site to "Preorder now". However, Adirondack template doesn´t give you the option to modify the name or icon. I would really appreciate if anyone can help me out with this! This is my site: https://utamu.shop/ thank you!
  20. Hi Recently coming back to squarespace after a long time away. Quickly I am remembering why I left - the beautiful websites back by a painfully limiting editor with a severely limited range of features. Is there any way to get secondary navigation/footer navigation on Squarespace 7.1? This was something that I remember from 7.0 but it seems to have gone. If it has, what on earth is the reasoning? I get not giving us options in the first place but taking away options that were already there and are very common website features? This really is taking the mickey. Cheers if anyone can give me a solution. Currently I have 12 sub-pages under the about menu and putting them all in a folder in the top menu is extremely clunky. I would love to be able to put them in a separate menu in the footer, as seems to be done by at least half the websites I visit, including SQUARESPACE's own website!! (see attachment)
  21. Hi - I'm trying to move either the navigation bar or the business information bar to the top of the page in the Montauk template. I am not getting this option in Site Styles. Does anybody know of a custom code I can insert to move these to the top? Similar to: http://1011makeup.com/ Thank you kindly!
  22. Site URL: https://www.tylerelise.com/ On mobile my logo sits under the "menu" nav link, is there a way to swap these? Also is there a way to make it so my logo has less padding on mobile? Right now they sit very far apart from one another, but I don't want to have to make it smaller on desktop (link and screenshot attached) Thanks in advance!
  23. Hello I am using the pacific theme for a client, and they specifically requested the hamburger menu icon. The issue they would like changed is that when you click on the hamburger icon, the menu comes up full screen, they are hoping for something half page, and with much smaller font size. Right now it is full screen and the font size is huge. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks David
  24. Site URL: https://www.premiumdissertation.co.uk/ I highly do not forget one of the templates allowed the index pages to be displayed as links inside the principal navigation (type of like anchor links where clicking on them scrolled all the way down to the phase), however can not for the life of me figure out how to turn on that function or figure out which template has that characteristic. I'm currently the use of website just like this since it permits an index. The desire to display the index pages in the most important navigation turned into in Site Styles. Can a person please tell me which template it become or how to turn it on? Thank you earlier.
  25. Site URL: https://www.visionarydesignbuild.com/ I am trying to figure out how to line up the top of my nav folders to the bottom of my nav bar.
