  1. How do I create a Mega Menu for my navigation bar on Montauk 7.0? Thank you!
  2. Site URL: http://www.southernsunevents.com http://www.southernsunevents.com PW: sse2020 My home page has the logo featured on the banner image and the traditional logo spot hidden via css. I've got my nav links spaced apart as I want them like this: I want the typical top center logo for the rest of my pages but it's knocking down my nav links because they are too big based on how I've set them for the home page layout. Is there a way to customize the nav links just for the index page and have everything standard for the rest of my pages? Thanks!
  3. Site URL: https://stephaniewolfpr.squarespace.com/ Hello, I just added a hamburger menu to the desktop view of my site, so that the hamburger bar always appears. However, when clicking the 3 bars, the menu opens up to fill the screen. Do you have any ideas on how I can make this menu more narrow? Thanks!
  4. Site URL: https://parrot-apricot-rfb9.squarespace.com/ Hello everyone, Is there a code that would make my nav bar remain the same on all screen sizes (exc. mobile). I would like to have it all in one line, no matter the size of desktop. Atm, links fall into 2 rows when resizing, while ideally I'd like it all in one. Is it possible? Thanks so much for your help! x
  5. Site URL: https://meiaestheticsco.com/ Hi all, I am wondering if there is a way to get my mobile navigation "more info" section which is a folder, into a drop down menu instead of going to another page? An example I really like is on the mobile version of lashaffair.com. When you click on either nav items it drops down to more pages so it's all on one section. Thank you!
  6. Hi, I apologize if there is such thread already. I wasn't able to locate this specific query anywhere. Is it possible to do something like this? First goal of the client was to have the mobile menu look even in desktop which was already done. Second is to have a link outside or beside the burger menu, like in the screenshot. How to do it? When I applied the mobile menu look, the 'Login' of Squarespace was outside. I just hid it since it is not the link the client wants to be outside. Thanks!
  7. Maybe this is dumb question but is it as simple as building a navigation in the footer and then hiding the header? I was hoping for the code to easily move my current header (which is at the top of the page) to the bottom.
  8. Hi! Is there any way to fix the header and navigation bar always on top of the screen as I scroll down my main page? It is currently on top of my site and disappears as soon as I scroll down. I'm using Foster template and my site is: davidzamorano.tv Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks, David
  9. Site URL: https://greensparkstech.com.au I have used the following CSS code to create a sticky sidebar that links to different page sections: .markdown-block .sqs-block-content { background-color: #fafafa; box-shadow: 0 3px 20px rgba(0,0,0,0.08); min-height: 0 !important; position: fixed !important; left: 0; top: 30%; transform: translateY(-50%); z-index: 999; padding: 20px 40px !important; } Which works well. However, it doesn't look great on mobile view (block overhangs other content while scrolling), so I currently have it hidden on mobile view. What I would like to do is have a toggle button on the side that can be tapped to cause the block to slide out to use the navigation, and also make it slide back away. I'd also like it to slide away if another part of the screen is tapped while it is slid out. Does anyone know how I might do this? (tagging @tuanphan since you are a wiz at these things)
  10. Site URL: https://www.sabustudio.com Hi, I have set up my navigation for desktop, it is all working as I want on desktop, although I am having issues with it on mobile device. On desktop I have integrate this code so the folders redirect to specific pages: <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.4.1/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $('.header-nav-folder-title[href="/furniture-folder"]').click(function() { window.location = "https://sabustudio.com/furniture"; }); $('.header-nav-folder-title[href="/object-folder"]').click(function() { window.location = "https://sabustudio.com/object"; }); $('.header-nav-folder-title[href="/lighting-folder"]').click(function() { window.location = "https://sabustudio.com/lighting"; }); Although, on mobile the folder navigation does not utilise the redirect link as it does on desktop, it just links to the folder contents. It currently goes as follows: I would like it to go: I am trying to remove/bypass the second hamburger menu page and instead wanting to use the redirect link. This enables better user experience for my product. I'm not sure if its possible to do this, but I imagine there would be a way to do this. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks
  11. Site URL: https://antelope-bluebird-89a2.squarespace.com/ Hi everyone, I'm looking to migrate my site from a 7.0 template to the 7.1 Clarkson Template. Here is my old website: http://www.originexpeditions.org Here is the one I'm working on: https://antelope-bluebird-89a2.squarespace.com/ Sitewide password: thanksforhelping I have spent about 8 hours searching the Squarespace forums, internet, and even trying to learn CSS myself to resolve an issue I have with the Header Navigation Bar. In short: I want the navigation bar and its dropdown menus to appear as they did on my old site. Features that I'm talking about include: Text being highlighted upon hover (I've gotten this to work) A semi-transparent dropdown menu for folders with a width that conforms to the text of the longest link + a few inches of padding (see my old site) The currently viewed page having shaded text in the navigation The menu options /links beneath each category being aligned left, formatted in congruence with the folder title above Additionally, if there is a way to add the semi-transparent background of the dropdown menu to overarching category (IE: About or Expeditions) also, that would be great. If anyone has solutions to any or all of these requests I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your considerations, - Joe
  12. Hi, Another person new to this. I'm using 7.1 and the navigation bar on my site is currently in the header. I'd like to move my site navigation to the left hand side of the page, how can I do this? Thanks
  13. Hi, I have desperately been trying to change the background color of the navigation bar of my website... It should look like this: https://www.couldihavethat.com/ The logo should be in the top left corner with no background color. Thanks everyone for your help
  14. Site URL: https://newkwmc.squarespace.com/ The CTA button in the navigation in this 7.1 site - "Donate" - opens in a new page. I'd like to open it as a pop-up window. Any suggestions on how to do this?
  15. Hi Guys, I am using a centred navigation (logo on the left, contact button on the right and menu items in the middle). Is there a way to prevent the navigation items from stacking as shown in this screen shot? Any help is greatly appreciated! I have researched options however havent been able to get anything to work. I'm using SquareSpace 7.1. Thanks!
  16. Site URL: https://moose-sepia-m3gk.squarespace.com/ hello all, I am trying to change the "Order Online" to have an outline button for the link. I believe I did this before by starting with a template where the button was outlined, but on this particular site, none of the code I am trying is working. Here is the website: https://moose-sepia-m3gk.squarespace.com/ and pw: lipscafe-ss Here is the last code I tried: //button cta a.Header-nav-item:last-of-type { border: 2px solid white; padding: 10px 30px; border-radius: 100px; } Any help is much appreciated! Thank you,
  17. Site URL: https://gaultstone.squarespace.com/ Hi, On this website, in the navigation under "Contact" the dropdown text is centered, we want it to be left aligned like the other menu dropdowns.
  18. I've been using the 7.1 version of squarespace. For your header, it only allows you to align things a certain way. For example, if you want the logo in the middle then your navigation links will be to the left and buttons to the right. So right now my logo is in the middle, the "shop" link is to the left, and the "cart" button is to the right. I want to move my "shop" link to the right, next to the cart icon and keep the logo centered. What is the css to do this?
  19. Site URL: https://innerelementspsychotherapy.com Hi there! I am wondering if anyone has custom CSS to add to change the color when the mouse is hovering over an item in a dropdown from the nav bar? Thank you!
  20. How do add a secondary or footer navigation in 7.1? This was so easy in 7.0 and cannot find anything for 7.1
  21. Hello. I'm using the Foster template. I'd like to switch my navigation around so that my cart icon is to the left of my Log In option. Please see photo for example. In site styles, I have Log In in my secondary navigation. Origins, Stockists, FAQ & Contact are in my primary navigation. When I position my cart to top left in site styles, it automatically appears to the right of secondary naviagation. I hope this makes sense. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you in advance.
  22. Site URL: https://fancythatinglewood.com.au/shop/p/1fl9d753yk35s0jw1g3zu8c1g5nou0 Hello, the buttons left and right to see different pictures of a product aren’t working. plus it only opens the lightbox if you click around the top right corner of the picture on the item page, which is odd. It should be enabled on the whole picture wherever you click. currently it’s a carousel type but the thumbnails buttons on a slideshow type aren’t working either, it’s just stuck to the main picture. I’ve linked the product page on the site. passcode: FTI452 thanks in advance for any assistance. VJO
  23. Site URL: https://www.swarovskiwellbeingweek.com/monday Hey legends, I'm just wondering how I can still have the main desktop menu links in white font to be visible on the images, but to change them to black so they're visible on the mobile menu (which changes the menu background to white so the whole menu is invisible). Thanks heaps!
  24. Site URL: https://imperialcitizenship.squarespace.com password: imperialcitizenship Hi, I implemented a forced mobile menu on my site. I need help changing the menu color and also I noticed a weird behavior where every time I open the burger menu, the logo shifts a little bit to the left.
  25. Hi! So I'm working on a website, and I have another website that I would like to replicate a feature of. That website: https://www.hierarchy.co.nz/ That feature: Sidebar navigation that updates your location as the main page is scrolled, and naturally also offers jump to position. Full disclosure I'm new to this, so any input in to the correct way to do the content in the main page to make this work would be greatly appreciated. So far I've been playing with folders/blog posts/feature pages etc to learn the ins and outs. Currently using Supply template. Happy to change, but ideally a similar flow to the above website is the desired result. Cheers 🙂 Ash
