  1. Can anyone tell me how I can hide or remove the navigation from my website? It's a single page website so I don't need a navigation at the moment.
  2. Site URL: https://aam-web-sample.squarespace.com/ When my site is viewed on a tablet the navigation overlaps with my social icons and button. Is there a way I can force my navigation to go to mobile/hamburger view when being viewed on tablets/ipads?
  3. Site URL: https://blackburnagri.squarespace.com/ Hi! I'm after a little help with setting up some custom code on a website for a client. I'm using the Impact theme, and am hoping to be able to get my hands on some custom code that toggles the visibility of the secondary navigation to hide on all core pages and only appear on service relevant pages (specifically; Native Vegetation, EPBC Survey/ Report, Financial Modelling, Business Planning & Application Assistance. Also, I'd like to place a coloured bar between the body area and the footer area as attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
  4. Hello guys, I have been struggling with this for a while: How do I add a custom font to all "page titles", "page title description" and "navigation" in the template Marquee. (I have been able to change the other fonts on my site to custom but not these!) Would be really happy for help!! THANKS, August
  5. Site URL: https://www.ronaldaartsen.com As many might have noticed, the header incl. navigation layout is a bit more restricted than in 7.0. @tuanphan , would it be possible to use css to make a custom header so I can create more space for navigation (-items). In the current structure it is so narrow that if I add one more page it shows the navigation menu on 2 lines. An example of how I would like it to look is in the screenshot. So basically, the navigation and in this case the button in a different block / on a seperate line from the logo/title and soc media icons. Like we had in 7.0 Top & bottom. Thanks in advance for having a look at this.
  6. Site URL: https://www.dfwmicropigmentation.com/#home-section Hey ya'll, for the life of me I cannot figure out how to adjust the margin/padding around the banner image. I'm trying to reduce the top margin, so there's not so much white space between the navigation and the banner image below. I've tried, CSS, the template menu style...no luck. Thanks so much!
  7. Site URL: https://studiostore.squarespace.com https://studiostore.squarespace.com looking to separate navigation and logo using custom css. The Five template has limited options for nav & logo, they move together only. I would like them separate and at the "bottom" of top header. Logo --> aligned Left | Nav --> aligned right Thank you, Django
  8. Site URL: https://lavender-heron-3pxt.squarespace.com/ Hi everyone, I am all new to Squarespace and I am French so sorry if my sentences aren't clear... I'll try to explain as much as I can. I am still in the free time period so I'm not sure you'll be able to access my website. Anyway, I downloaded the template "Sonny", and I want to do a one page only website, with links in the navigation bar leading to the different posts of this one page. .Here is a perfect example of what I'd like to do, I believe this is a squareplace website : https://www.asgeirmusic.com/ So as you can see clicking the link just below, this one page (home page I guess) will include several posts following each other by scrolling down : home, about, news (being a dispatch of summaries of articles leading to separate pages this time, I won't put every articles on this home page, only my main navigation). My problem is, and I tried with different templates it seems to be the same problem, that when I add a new page or button in my main navigation, it automatically creates a completely seperated new page, when I want it on the home page so I can just scroll down to access it. And if I add a new page/button in the hierarchy of my home page, it will create a new post on this home page, just like I want it, but it won't appear in the navigation bar ... For example, I created a home page called "home" on which you immediately arrive when you click on the link of the website. I tried to add an "About" page, which I want it to appear on the home page by scrolling down BUT I also want an "About" link to appear in the navigation bar, so that when you click this button in the navigation bar, it leads you to this "about" section of the home page. Will I be able to do this with a "personnal" subscribtion? I know i cannot modify code with this subscribtion .... I am not sure everything is clear, but do not hesitate to ask me if something's not understandable ! To sum up everything, I would like to create a website like this one : https://www.asgeirmusic.com/, but can't seem to have navigation links leading to different sections of the home page ... Thank you everyone in advance for your help! And again, I am all new to this and still on the free trial period ...
  9. Site URL: http://buffalobiketours.com Trying to figure out how to adjust the width of my navigation (using Foster in the Brine family). It feels constrained right now – I'm getting 3 lines of hamburgers instead of just one at the top. Any tips on how to remedy that? I'd just like all the navigation in 1 bar at the top
  10. HI there Does anyone out there know how to adjust the Rally Template Navigation Menu? When viewed on a vertical tablet, it splits over 5 lines with huge areas of padding on both sides. I would like it to split over two lines with reduced areas of padding. Thanks Black Widow
  11. Site URL: https://aam-web-sample.squarespace.com/ Hello - I am using 7.1 and my navigation links are long so I would like to put my social icons underneath my cart and button.   12. Site URL: https://www.susanchalkermassage.com/ Hi Guys, I have added code in my header to link my folders in my navigation to an anchor on my homepage as I have created a one pager. Only the blog ,contact form and from Lomi Lomi in the dropdown of massages all goes to its own page. The issue I am having is ....It works at first as you will see when you go to the site https://www.susanchalkermassage.com/ but as soon as I Click the Logo to go to homepage and try and click on the Header links (Say I go to the About page, it says "This folder does not contain any pages."). Its also not linking on mobile at all. Did I add something wrong in my code or am I missing something. <script type="text/javascript" src="jquery-1.11.1.min.js"></script> <!-- Redirecting Testimonial on nav --> <script> Y.on('domready', function(){ Y.one('nav a[href="/testimonial"]').on('click', function(e){ e.preventDefault(); e.stopPropagation(); window.location = 'https://www.susanchalkermassage.com/#testimonial-home'; }); }); </script> <!-- Redirecting About on nav --> <script> Y.on('domready', function(){ Y.one('nav a[href="/about"]').on('click', function(e){ e.preventDefault(); e.stopPropagation(); window.location = 'https://www.susanchalkermassage.com/#susan'; }); }); </script> <!-- Redirecting Individualized Massage on nav --> <script> Y.on('domready', function(){ Y.one('nav a[href="/individualized"]').on('click', function(e){ e.preventDefault(); e.stopPropagation(); window.location = 'https://www.susanchalkermassage.com/#individualized-massage'; }); }); </script> <!-- Redirecting Location on nav --> <script> Y.on('domready', function(){ Y.one('nav a[href="/location"]').on('click', function(e){ e.preventDefault(); e.stopPropagation(); window.location = 'https://www.susanchalkermassage.com/#location-address'; }); }); </script> <!-- Redirecting Massages on nav--> <script> Y.on('domready', function(){ Y.one('nav a[href="/rates"]').on('click', function(e){ e.preventDefault(); e.stopPropagation(); window.location = 'https://www.susanchalkermassage.com/#massage-rates'; }); }); </script> <!-- Redirecting massages page --> <script> Y.on('domready', function(){ Y.one('nav a[href="/massages"]').on('click', function(e){ e.preventDefault(); e.stopPropagation(); window.location = 'https://www.susanchalkermassage.com/#massage-modalities'; }); }); </script> <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.3.1/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> function anchorLinks(){ Y.all("a.Mobile-overlay-nav-item").on('click', function() { Y.one('body').removeClass('is-mobile-overlay-active'); }); Y.all("a.Mobile-overlay-folder-item").on('click', function() { Y.one('body').removeClass('is-mobile-overlay-active'); }); if(!Y.one('.collection-type-index')){ Y.all(".Mobile-overlay-nav--primary .Mobile-overlay-nav-item:not(.Mobile-overlay-nav-item--folder')").each(function(){ this.on("click", function(){ var newURL = "http://"+window.location.host +(this.getAttribute('href')); window.location.href = newURL; }); }); } } function scrollToURLAnchor(){ setTimeout(function(){ if(window.location.hash){ $('html, body').animate({ scrollTop: $(window.location.hash).offset().top }, 600, function () { }); } }, 700); } Y.on('domready', function(){ anchorLinks(); scrollToURLAnchor(); if(window.location.hash != ''){ $('a[href*="#"].Mobile-overlay-nav-item').on('click', function(){ var newURL = 'http://'+window.location.host +$(this).attr('href'); window.location = newURL; }); } }); window.addEventListener('mercury:load', anchorLinks); window.addEventListener('mercury:load', scrollToURLAnchor); </script>

  14. Site URL: https://silver-porcupine-gp5t.squarespace.com Hello Squarespace Community, I am building a site using version 7.1 and am very close to finishing it! One of my last orders of business is to add a gradient to the navigation bar. The catch is that I want the nav bar to be transparent at the top of the page and then the gradient to show up when you start scrolling on the page. The gradient should fade from orange (#FF8700) on the left to bright yellow on the right (#F7FF00). Any help is much appreciated!
  15. Site URL: https://www.akivaprojects.com/ Hello Community, I need help with changing the font colour on some of my website pages. It's currently black on all pages but I need it white on some. Is there code for this? Thank you in advance! :)

  17. Site URL: https://pletttruckrepair.ca/ I would like to have 2 phone numbers linked in the main navigation menu only on mobile, not on desktop. I would like desktop navigation menu to remain exactly as it is. Most answers for this type of thing are using collection id, but from what I understand that only works with pages not with external links (phone numbers in this case). SS 7.0 Bedford theme Any help would be much appreciated. @tuanphan (looks like you have provided solutions to very similar questions)
  18. Site URL: https://www.fsivirginia.com/ I went to update pages and see that my navigation bar is not loading properly. I don't want the three bars, just the in the header. I am not seeing it in the "design" tab at all. Is there something I am missing?? LOL...my brain in lockdown too long lol.. thanks
  19. Any custom CSS for decreasing the word spacing between items in the navigation? I like the typeface I'm using for it (source code pro), but some navigation items have two words and they're so far apart they look like seperate links. I switched my body text font for the same reason. If that's something that can be globally adjusted in CSS I'd like to do that as well. I'm running on a personal plan, site is under construction [hence the lack of link].
  20. Site URL: https://www.daniellewickesjewelry.com Hi! Working in the Brine/Jaunt template and I have a question regarding the blog page/posts. When on a blog post is there a way to add navigation back to the blog page? The blog post has the arrows to go the “Previous” & “Next” blog posts, but no navigation options I can find to add a return to the blog page within the blog posts. What am I missing? Thanks in advance! Password: cre82020! Blog page: https://www.daniellewickesjewelry.com/patternstutorials Blog post: https://www.daniellewickesjewelry.com/patternstutorials/8th-post

  22. Site URL: https://bassoon-oleander-texb.squarespace.com/ Site password: 12345 Right now, I have a "SHOP" Button in my navigation bar that I moved closer to the Cart icon using CSS edits to its spacing. However, when the window size is reduced/expanded, it moves with the other navigation items and the spacing I'm looking for gets messed up. I've currently used multiple lines to edit the spacing based off the window size as a basic fix: @media only screen and (min-width: 1270px){.header-nav-item:nth-child(5){ margin-left: 280px !important; margin-right: 5px !important; padding-right: 10px !important;}} @media only screen and (max-width: 1270px){.header-nav-item:nth-child(5){ margin-left: 200px !important; margin-right: 5px !important; padding-right: 10px !important;}} @media only screen and (max-width: 1200px){.header-nav-item:nth-child(5){ margin-left: 180px !important; margin-right: 5px !important; padding-right: 10px !important;}} etc.... However, I'm wondering if there is an easier fix to this and have that particular nav item (SHOP) behave like the Cart icon and Donate Button when the window size is expanded/reduced - so that it remains right-aligned to the window in the same relative position. Same thing when it comes to the grey backdrop. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
  23. Site URL: http://levitzmattress.com Hey everyone, I'm trying to get the folder name of my nav bar to link to other page. I know, I know, use <a href>. I did (I used this page for the how-to), and it worked great for a long time. Suddenly it stopped doing anything. It's like the code isn't there. If someone wouldn't mind, could you go to my site (levitzmattress.com). The "Mattress" nav button should take you to /mattresses-3, which is a guide to help get you to the right mattress. What is actually happening is that it taking you to /mattresses-1 which is just the main product page. What makes things even more complicated, is that its taking you to /mattresses-1 and only showing the Tempurpedic category, instead of all of them. Similar issues are happening with the Foundations and Accessories nav buttons. How can I fix this? If you go directly to http://levitzmattress.com/mattresses-1 it does the same thing; only shows you Tempurpedic. I have links in certain marketing assets that take users to this page. I want it to automatically show All categories upon arriving here. How can that be done? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! PS This is the Hyde template.
  24. Site URL: https://www.chrisclearfield.com/conference I'm editing a website that I didn't build, and am having an issue where there is an annoying space between the header navigation menu and the body content. The theme is Brine. In site styles, the only option to adjust the padding is the make the header comically large to cover the space, but I can't figure out why I can't move the body content block up to the header otherwise. It looks like whomever set up the site used some custom code and I'm wondering if that's somehow interfering with the spacing issue. It's across all pages of the site. I'm not a seasoned coder and I'm working with a limited knowledge of it, so I'm hesitant to try to make changes without a little guidance first. I've uploaded screenshots of the page with the space visible and with the header enlarged to mask it. I'm working on a specific unlinked page, but the issue persists across the entire website. Can anyone offer some potential solutions to try and reduce the space since there is no option in site styles that currently affects it at all? Thanks
