  1. Site URL: https://www.libertytreenj.com/ I'm trying to find out if it's possible to not have a 'home' link in the main nav bar, and simply have the page title linked to the homepage when working in the Mojave template of the Brine template family. Currently my site has 3 main nav items, 'About' being one of them. This menu item is where all my homepage items live under, but since my page title also links to the homepage, I would rather have the page title simply be the only thing in the main nav linking back to the homepage. However, if I delete the 'About' item, my entire homepage will be deleted since the homepage items are attached to it. Any workaround ideas for this?
  2. Site URL: https://mandolin-dolphin-3ag5.squarespace.com Hello, How do I make the folder title of my website link to an actual page? I tried inserting the code below into the Navigation Title of my folder to link to the "Forest Values" page, but this is not working. In fact, it makes the Navigation Title to be "Forest Values</a>" when it should be "Forest Values." <a href="/forest-values">Forest Values</a> Thank you!
  3. Site URL: http://collaborativeperformance.org Hi fellow Squarespace users πŸ™‚ On our website we are currently using sticky navigation, so the navigation follows when scrolling on our page. I would really like to change that to a normal navigation that goes away when scrolling down, BUT that appears again when you, anywhere on the site, scroll back up just a tiny bit (not scroll all the way to the top). Unfortunately I haven't been able to google my way to a solution Does anyone know how to accomplish this? :-)
  4. Site URL: https://www.todoinc.co/ Hi everyone, Just wanted to ask how I should go about adding the word "MENU" right beside the hamburger icon in the navigation. I'm using the Ready template in the Skye template family. Ideally, it would look something like this: What code can I inject here? The site is https://www.todoinc.co/
  5. Is there any way to delete the navigation button for one page? Aka, I want to have a homepage, but I do not want a button that says "home" on the top banner. I am using a portfolio template. Thanks!
  6. Site URL: http://www.gloriayangofficial.com Hello, Any ideas how to link my subscription navigation into a lightbox popup on the main page? Right now I created a separate page for the subscription form field but I do not like how it looks. Also, I’m unable to change the subtitle text of the subscription box. See image for more info. Thank you so much!
  7. Site URL: http://www.pentagon-orca-b5y5.squarespace.com Two navigation issues I'm running into using the Pacific template: 1. I am using a code to hide the first listing on my navigation bar but I'm running into an issue as it now seems that when I click on the header to go to that page, it's refreshing and loading twice before allowing me to stay on the page. Any way to solve this issue? 2. I am using a code for sticky navigation for the header and it's covering up my anchor links. Any fix for this?
  8. Site URL: https://supercubesnew.squarespace.com/doors-and-door-accessories Nancy Whittlesey Today at 15:04 I've set up a page of products for my client. Note: they won't be purchased onlineβ€”it's only to provide information and pricing. My problem is when someone clicks to the detail page, the breadcrumb gives the option of going back to the main DIY Kit Pricing page or the category page, Doors and Door Accessories. If they go to the category page the breadcrumb navigation says ALL and Doors and Door Accessories, which are essentially the same thing. That's confusing and I would like them to be able to get back to the main DIY Kit Pricing page. In the images I'm showing: 1) product landing page, 2) product detail page, 3) category page Thanks for your help!
  9. Site URL: https://tudor-demo.squarespace.com/?nochrome=false&_ga=2.19809592.1468483441.1583446190-309193801.1569957517&_gac=1.188144218.1582432081.Cj0KCQiAv8PyBRDMARIsAFo4wK1iE-Mg81A93ZQqzu_KAH2kuw_4f8Zj4_4rEqXZ5lZ2tJMcz0nDwJgaAhTQEALw_wcB On the Tudor template the navigation bar extends to show your navigation and a "side tray" section. I basically want the navigation to be half the size it is by default and only show the pages side, while showing the rest of the site in the background. I included a site that has what I want. Is there a way to this? Thanks in advanced!
  10. Site URL: https://adamfreunddesign.com/ I am looking to redesign my website (https://adamfreunddesign.com/). I have found this website, which I really like https://snp.agency/en the overall design and layout of. I would like recommendations for a template that would be a good starting point to achieve something like this website. Some features I am looking for include: 1) Left-aligned page title/logo and right aligned hamburger menu as options without custom changes to the template 2) Index pages, as is done on SNP and my website for a one-page site with different sections separated with different full-width background colors or images (Pacific, which I am currently using does this as well), where you can jump to a certain section. 3) I like that when the hamburger menu is opened, the navigation titles are right aligned. Being able to do this without custom work would be nice. 4) I like that the title/logo and the hamburger menu sticks to the top of the screen as you scroll down and that the color automatically changes to contract the background color. 5) I like that the section 6) The ability to add parallax scrolling without any special work would be nice. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any other info. Thanks!
  11. Site URL: https://bassoon-oleander-texb.squarespace.com/ Password: 12345 Very new to this! I'm trying to make the green hover background for the text take up the full space in the folder nest (between each line) without affecting the padding of the text itself. Right now there's a white margin around the hover background due to the padding. Here's the code I'm using: .header-nav .header-nav-item--folder .header-nav-folder-content { top: auto; left: 0em; text-align: left; width: 175px; font-size: 14px; padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 3px; padding-right: 3px; } .header-nav-folder-item { color: #fff ; border-top: 1px solid #b8b8b8; padding: 7px 0 !important; } .header-nav-folder-item a:hover { background: #77AF87; color: #fff !important; } Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  12. Site URL: https://www.grotonchiropractor.com/ I used the following code to add Google Translate to this website. Code Block in Content Body: <div id=google_translate_element></div> Code Injection Area: <script type="text/javascript" src="//translate.google.com/translate_a/element.js?cb=googleTranslateElementInit"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> function googleTranslateElementInit() { new google.translate.TranslateElement({pageLanguage: 'en'}, 'google_translate_element'); } </script> After installing the element and injecting the <script> code, the hamburger sidebar menu stopped working. I cannot quite tell, but it looks like the Google Translate screen overlay is blocking access to the sidebar menu. Any ideas how I can fix this so that my sidebar menu is still accessible with the Google Translate element added? I currently have the code removed so that the site works as intended. Any help would be appreciated!
  13. Hi, I'm trying to remove a link from the navigation bar when I'm on a certain page, but still be able to see that link when I'm on the other pages. I used to be able to do it with the secondary navigation but with Squarespace 7.1 they removed the secondary navigation.
  14. Site URL: https://www.andrewmarston.com/design I put a folder titled "Photo" into the my navigation, however the main nav item "Photo" is not clickable. The odd thing is that in the inspector there appears to be an anchor tag in the code pointing to a link that redirects to the correct page. Does anyone know how to fix this? (screenshots attached) URL: https://www.andrewmarston.com/design Thanks!
  15. Hi - I'm trying to move either the navigation bar or the business information bar to the top of the page in the Montauk template. I am not getting this option in Site Styles. Does anybody know of a custom code I can insert to move these to the top? Similar to: http://1011makeup.com/ Thank you kindly!
  16. Site URL: https://www.tylerelise.com/ On mobile my logo sits under the "menu" nav link, is there a way to swap these? Also is there a way to make it so my logo has less padding on mobile? Right now they sit very far apart from one another, but I don't want to have to make it smaller on desktop (link and screenshot attached) Thanks in advance!
  17. Site URL: https://www.tylerelise.com/ I'm trying to add a hover state to my logo where it just swaps for another image on the hover. Any tips on how to achieve? Thank you!
  18. Site URL: https://www.premiumdissertation.co.uk/ I highly do not forget one of the templates allowed the index pages to be displayed as links inside the principal navigation (type of like anchor links where clicking on them scrolled all the way down to the phase), however can not for the life of me figure out how to turn on that function or figure out which template has that characteristic. I'm currently the use of website just like this since it permits an index. The desire to display the index pages in the most important navigation turned into in Site Styles. Can a person please tell me which template it become or how to turn it on? Thank you earlier.
  19. Site URL: https://bugle-poodle-kk7s.squarespace.com/ Hi all, I'm trying to work out if it's possible to change the navigation bar on Squarespace. I have .png icons and I want to use these instead of font in the nav bar. I.e. an image instead of the word "about" etc Is this possible?
  20. Site URL: https://www.earthdrivencollective.com.au/home Is there any way we can customize the spacing and placing of the navigation bar? Client wanted it just above the photos and instead of a dropdown menu, the items in the navigation bar would go up. I attached a sample layout below.
  21. I'm trying to change the font of the navigation buttons in my header ("Home", "About", etc.), because I want them to be the custom font I uploaded instead of one of the default Squarespace fonts. My entire website is using my custom font; it's only these navigation buttons at the top that don't match. I tried the following based on google searches and past forum responses: .Header-nav-item {font-family: 'NATIONALZ';} But that doesn't work for me. Maybe it's different in 7.1? Does anyone know how to do this?
  22. I am trying to replicate the behavior of the index on caa.com As you will see, you select one of the options and it brings you to a list of sub options, and so on. I am trying to replicate this using a series of links on a cover page. Right now, when you select a link it redirects you to that page. I am trying to make the navigation of the website more seamless as I don't want the page reloading upon clicking. After a bit of research it looks like this is some pretty straightforward HTML language. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  23. Hi, I'm trying to align the bottom of the navigation links with the bottom of my logo. Adjusting the line height doesn't seem to help. Any tips?
  24. Hi, I recently switched from the Native to Brine template. Native's mobile navigation spelled out the word 'navigation' below the logo but the Brine template just has symbols to choose from. Is there code that can change the Brine mobile navigation menu to say "navigation" instead of having a symbol? Thanks!
  25. Site URL: https://www.weacceptcryptocurrency.com/ I added the following code to my site to add a hovering underline effect to the navigation bar: .header-nav-item a:hover { text-decoration: underline; } The problem is that once you actually click on a navigation link, the underline goes way lower vertically than the hover effect. This causes two separate underlines when you scroll over the same page that you're on. It's a minor issue but looks bad. Is there a way to make all of the nav bar underlines stay at the same vertical position as the hover effect? I want the underlines to be right under the words, so that once a page is clicked there is no double underline upon hovering.
