  1. Hello, I have a Problem with the Navigation of my Homepage when displayed in Tablet or Mobile Format. Like you can see in the picture it cuts of the "N" of Schulkooperationen. Of course it would be an easy fix to simply make the words smaller. However I'm hoping there is another possibility by using costum CSS to remain the readability. Thanks a lot!
  2. Site URL: https://teal-alligator-kmg7.squarespace.com/ Hi there! I'm trying to make a handful of changes to the navigation menu for the categories on my shop page and running into some difficulty. 1. Currently the navigation menu only displays on Shop > All but I'd like it to stay visible no matter which category a user clicks on. 2. If possible, I'd like to highlight the category the user is currently viewing with a green background, essentially making the category title a button, is this possible? 3. There's a bunch of empty space in between the Main Nav and the Category Nav, can I somehow close the gap? Site: https://teal-alligator-kmg7.squarespace.com Pass: pines Any help is so massively appreciated, thank you!
  3. Site URL: https://vhart.squarespace.com/ Hello, I am having trouble making a sidebar navigation menu look nice with CSS. @tuanphan helped me change the menu's background color, but I need further expert guidance on adjusting spacing and alignment if possible. I would like to customize the "Wells" template to make its sidebar navigation menu look like the "Supply" template's sidebar navigation. I've attached two screenshots to show the difference in the two templates. Do you know of a way to expand the "Wells" menu to make it fill the left column like it does on "Supply"? I would just use "Supply" but it has this strange, asymmetrical sidebar on the right side of the screen on all non-home pages. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  4. Hi there! Is there a way you can force the drop-down navigation links/text (secondary nav) to show automatically in mobile view (SQSP 7.1)? The attached image is how it appears now. On my site, I have two main nav links (Free Resources + Consulting). And, under Free Resources (a folder), I have two links. I'd love, on mobile, for those two links to appear without the user having to click on "Free Resources." Is this possible?
  5. Site URL: https://www.brandingofficehours.com Hi, all. Is there a way to change the size of the CTA button in mobile navigation (SQSP 7.1)? Attaching screen shot. I'd like the text+button to appear more like the smaller styling on the rest of my site. Would settle for just being able to adjust the text size within the button (which might also decrease the button size anyway). Thanks!
  6. Site URL: https://www.craignorwood.net/ Hello 👋 So I like the new Circle feature of being able to change what displays as the menu option for mobile, hamburger, + etc. But there's no text option! It would be great to see the option to use plain text 'Menu' and 'Close' In the meantime, is there any way to edit the padding of '+', I want to adjust this and edit the icon thickness too? Any workarounds or other clever mobile menu options people have found so far? Thanks, Craig
  7. Hello, I need to make a navigation menu that drops down twice to organize my products better and also spread out my products a bit more so that the page doesn't take so long to load. So for example; Inventory --> Category --> Tag Pretty much what I need is to be able to hover over the "Inventory" title along the main navigation bar. When I hover I can move my mouse down and hover over the "Category/s" then this will bring out another menu for the "Tags" which I can then click on and bring me to the product pages. If someone could help me with a code or some other way of doing this that would be great! This would really help me to have this feature. Thank you!
  8. Hi! I'm making a 1 page website for my dad. I want to add navigational buttons in the menu for specific parts within the layout, how can I do this? Thanks!
  9. Site URL: http://www.yen-ng.com Hi, can someone help me with a CSS to float site title to left side and menu to the right site of my page? I'm using Flatiron template. Thanks!
  10. Site URL: https://www.theraplant.com/ When I was first developing my site the standard prev/next prompts were displayed on each product page. I continued to customize the site & at some point realized they had disappeared. I'm having a difficult time finding out how to retrieve them. The product items style option for "Product Navigation" is set to "Both", so it should show both the breadcrumbs and the navigation, but alas, no prev/next anywhere on the site. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have some minimal CSS code on the site but it does not appear that it is causing this particular issue.
  11. Site URL: https://wearepercolate.com hello, need help on fixing the footer navigation on mobile version, it look messy. thanks!
  12. Site URL: https://www.swarovskiwellbeingweek.com/monday Hey legends, I'm just wondering how I can still have the main desktop menu links in white font to be visible on the images, but to change them to black so they're visible on the mobile menu (which changes the menu background to white so the whole menu is invisible). Thanks heaps!
  13. Site URL: https://www.adamgodoi.com/ Hey guys, I have a password protected version of my portfolio in order to show a complete set of projects (some of my clients do not want the work I did for them to be shown publicly). Currently, once visitors have navigated to my password protected portfolio and selected a project, they cannot use the header menu to go back to see the complete list again, because it links them to the public side. Their only options are to either press the back button, or to use the links at the bottom of the project page to see other projects. I believe that this creates a risk that they will miss seeing some of my work, so I am wondering if there is a workaround here? Maybe somehow having the "Work" link in the menu (which goes to my public portfolio) redirect to the password protected portfolio if the user is already logged in? Or possibly having a different menu for logged in users? I contacted support about this, they said that they do not have a built-in way to change the navigation functionality based on the page being viewed or a visitor being logged in, but that there very well may be a way to do it with custom code. Let me know what's possible! Thank you! Adam
  14. Site URL: https://parsnip-indigo-wpbh.squarespace.com/config/design Hello, I want the drop down menu of the site that I am working on to be aligned centered, instead of right, so that it falls right under the main title, but I can't seem to figure out how. I have tried different codes I've seen on here but none have work. Could anyone help? I also don't like how wide the drop down background is, is there a way I can change it to something that works better for my titles? I've already fixed the hover colour but I can't change these two other things. the site isn't live yet as I am moving a 7.0 site to a 7.1 version and I am starting from scratch. Thanks in advance.
  15. Site URL: https://www.tonyambrown.com/ I am trying to get the cart icon to show next to the social icons on every page. I have checked and expressed shopping option is off. There is no option for cart position under header layout.
  16. Hey, could anyone help me with code injection issue? I'm using Version 7.0– Brine family (Impact template), as a bilingual site. I managed to use the navigation in each language with a page header code injection, which helps me to hide the other language navigation buttons. It was working fine, but I just discovered, that altough I shift from language 1 to language 2, the navigation remains language 1 (on mobile as well). I think the code is ok, because on squarespace it works fine (in editorial mode). Site is here: www.molton.hu I use this code (in case of language 1): <style>nav.Header-nav--secondary { display: none; } .Mobile-overlay-nav--secondary { display: none; } </style> After I refresh browser, the navigation shifts to the correct language. What is the problem? Was there any kind of updates or changes in this template, which can cause this issue? Thanks in advance Daniel
  17. Site URL: https://www.latablehouston.com/ Hi everyone, I'm running into some issues with the button on the end of my navigation menu (and all the buttons on the site) being off centered. I'm not sure why, but is there any way to add code to center all the text in the buttons? Thank you!
  18. Site URL: https://www.360sp.com.au/home1 Hi SS trust, I'm trying to style my nav menu on a site, by adding a colour to the page last visited. I've managed to do it with code that is working fine on desktop, but mobile just won't work. https://www.360sp.com.au/home1 Code I've used is: .header-nav-item--active a { color: #69BD45 !important; background-image: none !important; } .Mobile-overlay-nav-item:last-child{ color: #69BD45 !important; } Any help would be hugely appreciated! Thanks, RAD.
  19. Site URL: https://apricots-fuchsia-m3r5.squarespace.com I'm working on hbcusoutside.com password: grizzly The nav bar breaks into two lines at an unfortunate width. There's plenty of horizontal space if the container can be extended. Failing that, I'd prefer the hamburger to kick in rather than break the nav bar into two lines. I do prefer having the nav bar visible so I don't want a solution that just uses the hamburer 100% of the time. Can the nav bar area be extended horizontally? Can the nav be restricted to never break and rather trigger the hamburger?
  20. Hello community, please help! Please see below, I am looking to remove the links below the button in the navigation of the attached image (<setup your webshop first look: Bluehost & Setup your webshop first look Wix) <--- this removed. How do I go about this? Thank you
  21. Site URL: https://bison-prism-bf6c.squarespace.com/ In the link below @tuanphan kindly gives code that allows the nav to be split into a pseudo second nav - using the nth child selector to define at which point the split happens. I'd like to do something similar, but instead of having it split onto a new line I'd like all items after the nth child to right align to the div (my main nav is left aligned). At the moment I do have one fake secondary nav item on the right but this is simply a restyle of the Button available within the Elements option found in the global nav. This serves me perfectly from an aesthetic point of view (although, on mobile it needs some work to properly blend in with the main nav items) but the thing is, I'm likely to need more that one item on the right. So, any tips? Thanks loads for your time and knowledge.
  22. Site URL: https://www.swalsh.art/ I used this code to enlarge my logo: .header-title-logo img { max-height: 400px; max-width: 800px; } But this is causing it to no longer be centered. I've tried using the position property to move the image, but this has either resulted in the image returning to the default size or the image being over the next section (over the background image) instead of in the header area. Thanks for any help!
  23. Hello I really need to know how to move the blue navigation button in my menu, to the top on mobile version. And is it also possible to remove the tlf number there, only on mobile version? Its an number-link. I need it on desktop tho.
  24. Site URL: http://www.classiccthomes.com Hi, Thank you for any assistance. On my site I have a top level navigation. It's Projects-Elements-WhatWeDo-Etc On the Projects and Elements menu items I have other items so the template uses a drop down menu (not sure that is the correct term). The width of that drop down menu appears fixed. I would like for it (the width of the menu) to scale (width wise) based upon the width of the menu items contained within the dropdown. What I really want is for the text not to wrap so each menu item will appear on one line. So, for Projects, the items contained within the drop down menu Antique Farmhouse Shingle Manor Kitchen BumpOut Etc I do not want, say, Kitchen Bumpout, to wrap. Not sure how to begin so I am grateful for any help. -ClassicCTHomes
  25. Site URL: http://https/www.sheworldhealth.org/ I am trying to hide the "campaigns lp link" item from the "Campaigns" folder of my navigation bar as shown below: This is the code I am using right now in my Design>Custom CSS area. It is not working: span.Header-nav-item.Header-nav-item--folder:fourth-child(2) a.Header-nav-folder-item:first-child { display: none; } The "campaigns" folder is the fourth child in the main navigation bar but its the third folder. I tried using third-child, 4th-child, 3rd-child and none of these seem to work. The "campaigns lp link" child of that folder is a page link. Do I have the CSS syntax wrong?
