  1. Hello, Currently we have a Squarespace site for our business, 30secondpitch.com On mobile, the text and the headshots are misaligned. Instead of being headshot > descriptive text > next headshot... etc., it's headshot > headshot > headshot > text > text > text. Any advice on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

  5. In the mobile version the bottom header is brilliant, although it would be even better if I could place the hamburger it in the middle: in this way it would reachable with the right thumb. What's the code to change the position in the middle JUST IN THE MOBLE layout?
  6. I am using the Vow template. I have two image blocks beside each other. I have used the following css to remove all padding around images on desktop and tablet: /* remove padding around all images*/ .sqs-block.image-block { padding: 0px !important; } However, when the site changes down to mobile I get gaps top and bottom on these images. Is there some CSS I can you to remove these gaps/padding? Many thanks
  7. I hate the way my page looks on mobile view as a one column - is there anyway to turn off one column views on mobile devices? (I'd rather my page not be mobile responsive than for it to look the way it does now).
  8. Hi, I want to show H1 on mobile only (otherwise there's no title, looks very bland). Really only need it on the landing page. Or get the page to display the title, but mobile only. Is this possible? www.mattschwab.com is my website. I had to make the landing "home" page a gallery page.
  9. In the skye Template the header is on the bottom, this from a UI point of view is unusual, I find cool though but in order for the audience to see it easily it would be great to change the color of the header ONLY on mobile. Anyone who can help me on this?

  13. Hello. I'm using the Five template: https://www.inhabityourself.com/journal When I click through to a blog post on desktop, the post has an image and a title that I typed into the edit field with the body of the post. On mobile, when I click through to a blog post the title displays above the image and is then duplicated from the title that's in with the body of the blog post. I assume the title at the top of the page is automatically displaying. Is there a way I can turn it off? I don't want the title above the photo. Thank you!
  14. when my site is used on mobile display - the navigation dropdown is so large and scale off the mobile page. I wondered if there is a CSS code for this. Please can somebody help :)
  15. I have a few unlinked pages that I want to use as "landing pages" Meaning that when someone lands there, I don't want there to be any links back to the rest of my site. I have been able to remove the navigation menu from the desktop version of the page using the code shown in the attached file screenshot68. But as shown in screenshot66, it still shows up in the mobile view. I have tried several ways to disable the menu showing in the mobile view, but none have worked so far. I've also noticed that the footer navigation needs to be removed also. So any advice on that would also be greatly appreciated! I am using the "Maple" template and the landing page in question is located at https://tmphotographync.com/real-estate Thanks for your help in advance!

  17. I recently tried to troubleshoot the issue of my background images not showing up on Mobile view by reducing the px to around 1700 for each image. 18. Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with the main image displaying on the mobile side of our site. I want the mobile version to maintain the same (or similar) dimensions to the desktop version of its display. Other images on the site rescale to more horizontal dimensions, but this one doesn't - causing it to get cut off in a weird way. I'm thinking it may have to do with my minimum height requirement for the main image (which I put in so that I got a larger main image). But am curious if there's a way to remove that height requirement in mobile. I've included a couple of screen shots below. Website is unioncommon.com. If anyone has any code I could inject, or guidance, I would really appreciate it! Thanks so much!
  19. Hi! I'm making a website that display the top banner perfect in the mobile view while editing in squarespace. But looking at the site on a real iPhone, the banner is cropped. http://www.argentum.dk How do I fix this?
  20. I want to make a WhatsApp chat button appear on my site but ONLY to mobile devices as the desktop experience sucks. Anyone have a way to set up a code block to be mobile only?
  21. The website looks great on a computer or Android, but on Iphone it moves sideways. It looks like the background was created too large for the site. Back when I coded sites, this was an error in settings, but I am not sure how to solve it in Square space. Sometimes you will just see a blue screen and need to side swipe to bring up the website. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Someone mentioned that it could be an error in the way they connected mailchimp to it, but it seems much simpler than that. Thank you! Debbie
  22. Apparently this works if the phone is turned horizontally or on an iPad. I'm using the Bryant template. I'm looking for code that I can enter that will make this work. https://okra-leopard-83xz.squarespace.com/new-homes
  23. So please bear with me as I'm a novice when it comes to CSS or any of this. I've been trying to google answers for the past few hours now to no avail. Essentially I'm just looking to have 1:1 images, with a title and a description, stacked in 2 columns on mobile. A gallery grid does basically what I want on desktop and mobile - but doesn't show descriptions. A summary block does it too but stacks one image on top of another and when I have 60+ images, it becomes a huge scroll. I have not been able to find solutions to either of these issues so if you have a solution to either instead it'd be greatly appreciated. So now, I've just succumbed to doing individual image stacks. I've found out how to shrink the image blocks just in mobile, however I still can't them to form rows/columns despite the extra room now they have on the right (as seen in the screenshot). The code I'm using is below. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
  24. Is there a workaround to have a fixed background image on mobile / tablet for iOS for Avenue template? I love the desktop view of my chosen background (cover and fixed) but when I view on my mobile or tablet it becomes distorted because it stretches to cover for the scrolling view. Anyone got any tips or code to have a fixed background on iOS mobile and tablet? Thanks
  25. I am using a custom font for my client's website, and incorporated it into the website using a Code Block. However, I am having issues with a ton of spacing around each code block and I can't figure out how to get rid of it! It's causing some spacing issues on the desktop site, but especially on mobile - creating huge gaps between the code blocks and other text/image blocks, making it look not so great. See screenshots below (the scripted text is the code block). Desktop is the first image, and mobile is the second. I've tried a few different codes targeting the padding of the code blocks, but nothing seems to do the trick to fix this issue. Any CSS or HTML suggestions?? Greatly appreciated!!!
