  7. Site URL: http://www.crackedpaintstudios.com Hi everyone! I deleted every code I've tried and decided to start fresh. Can someone help me stop my banner from being cropped? I used the same pixel size as was recommended, I tried what Squarespace recommended with the duplicated sections and their code. I used other codes with the appropriate section ids. It didn't work at all. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

  10. Hi, I have added code to my website to remove the banner from certain pages, however, on the MOBILE view, the original block color banner still remains on the page. Any suggestions on how to remove the MOBILE view banner from pages? Thank you!
  11. Site URL: https://lynx-copper-kklb.squarespace.com/config/design/custom-css Hi there, Wondering if anyone can help me with forcing my gallery view on my Studio page, in mobile view only. I am currently using the code: section[data-section-id="603eebeb954ee906cac97f19"] { @media screen and (max-width:800px) { .gallery-grid { background: red; grid-template-columns: repeat(1,1fr) !important; grid-row-gap: 3vw !important; } } } But with no movement at all... P.s Ive placed a red background behind to highlight the area I'm trying to targe
  12. Hi all ! So I am creating blast email templates to send to my contact lists, where I choose a specific color for my section background (let's say, green). It looks great and all, but when someone receives it on their phone or tablet, and their dark mode is turned on, then the background color inverts and it looks really bad. Is there a way to force the background color on any devices? Thank you so much for the help!
  13. Site URL: https://www.hintoftime.com/ Hi guys, I finally found an image slider that (kind of) works. The problem is that it only looks good on a Full HD monitor. Any resolution larger or smaller breaks the element. The slider is a feature from the Squarespace Ninja Kit extension. I believe my theme is Carmine. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I could do? Hiding the block on mobile is also an option if there's nothing else to do. Thanks
  14. Hi, I have a client who built her website in developer mode (7.0). Her banner (background) images across the site are not optimised and not properly showing on mobile, a lot of the text is missing, so I was looking for an option to disable mobile views, either on the banners only or across the whole site. Since she's not working with a template to disable it on, I'd need to use some CSS. Can someone help me with this?
  15. Site URL: http://www.tomaschlup.com Hi all, I'm looking for a code to resize an image in footer of the page so it doesn't look so big on mobile. Also would be fine to reduce the spaces between the verticaly oriented content of the footer. www.tomaschlup.com Any help appreciated. CU TCh
  16. Site URL: https://www.samdanan.com/ Hi everyone! I'm working on a portfolio website right now, and I am using a portfolio page to house some projects. I want to use the "hover: follow cursor" effect, but one thing I'm having issues with is the type size/leading on mobile vs desktop. Here is the desktop, which we are liking: vs the mobile: On mobile we feel like the line's are too spread out to read clearly, but when we close them up it adjusts the desktop too and makes them too close together. Ideally we would love to decrease the type size and spa
  17. Site URL: https://reyeswine.squarespace.com/about Hi everyone, I am hoping someone can help me out! I am trying to reduce the white space between on sections on the mobile version of my ABOUT page on my trial website. reyeswine.squarespace.com/about pw: wine I've tried doing a few things, including custom CSS such as: /* About Section - Spacing Between Sec. 1&2 */ @media screen and (max-width:767px) { [data-section-id="603454bbcfd4dc6542aa9e43"]{ padding-top:1px !important; padding-bottom: 1px !important} } However, this does not seem to
  18. Hi everyone, I'm curious about something that I have been noticing on the mobile version of my site. I attached a screenshot for example. It appears that while on the desktop version the text is centre aligned, but on the mobile version the text is somewhat aligned in the centre but I seen an indentation if the text goes over two lines. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks, Gabriel
  19. Site URL: http://youthrising.com/ Site functioning ok on computer, the mobile version doesn't appear to be working, it's just the full version. We set the settings as far as we can tell, as to the mobile menu, but it doesn't show. Also the main banner image doesn't scale down, any ideas. Using impact template.
  20. Site URL: https://silver-grouse-tc6g.squarespace.com/config/ Hello, In the MOBILE view, I would like to increase the space between each of the images in my gallery pages. I am using Wells template and my issue is only with the mobile, where it can be confusing as to whether a caption belongs to the image above, or the one below. I would like more space between the images regardless for a less cluttered look (and giving more importance to each image).
  21. Site URL: https://www.erikatanithphotography.co.uk/ Hi, My new site has been live on Squarespace for about a month now. I'm curious what people think. Any recommendations? Especially when it comes to the site being mobile-friendly. I've tested the site using a lot of different mobile friendly tools and devtools. And they all say it's fine. And yet google randomly will throw up pages that it says aren't mobile friendly for all 3 mobile tests. Sometimes the homepage, sometimes the invest page, sometimes the food photography page. Basically it can be any page. Google can scan the same
  22. Site URL: https://www.herbolea.com/faq Hello everyone, we are adding a new page dedicated to FAQs on our website. The page was created correctly following an online guide but the titles of the "questions" in the mobile view have a spacing line too short. (mobile guide: https://www.holdspacecreative.com/blog-list/how-to-create-an-faq-dropdown-menu-on-your-squarespace-therapy-website) In the browser version, on the other hand, it looks good. We tried to insert various codes in the custom CSS section found in similar posts on the forum without unfortunately
  23. Site URL: https://www.on2design.co.uk Hello all, Is there a way to remove or control the size of any spacer columns/spacer blocks in a page or site-wide from a specific screen size using CSS—in this case—for tablet screens? I just want to have a more control over the spacing of elements on the page. I am using the Avenue template. Many thanks for any help given 😊
  24. Site URL: https://www.rubenalza.com hello! is there a way i can have the carousel of images to load faster on the mobile view? i mean, it takes longer than 8 full seconds to completely start showing anything. i have reduced the size of the images considerably and still takes several seconds.
  25. Site URL: https://www.queerterpreter.com/ I never think to check my site on mobile, but I realized the text goes all the way to the edge of the screen and there's no margin at all. It's okay on desktop, but really uncomfortable to read on mobile. How can I fix this? I'd specifically like to mess with the margins rather than add a border, since my template (Mojave) does allow a border but it would also go around the header, navigation and (currently) full-bleed images, and I don't want that.
