  1. Site URL: http://www.bighousecards.com Trying to find a little code to change the 7.1 store mobile or both view to be a category dropdown vs. a scrolling list to the right or left. The average person wouldn't know to scroll categories. Took me a while to figure it out thinking my categories were not being displayed. Really appreciate any assistance as this is an annoying issue and I really don't want to change versions just for this. Thank you Ryan
  2. Site URL: https://www.bottlerocketrecording.co.uk/ Hi @tuanphan, I've recently redesigned my site – transferring from Pacific to Brine (in favor of more editing options). It's not been the smoothest of transitions and I've had to dip into CSS to facilitate what I'd thought were some pretty basic requirements. Anyway I'm pretty much there now apart from some frustrating glitches on mobile view, as explained below. On mobile: The header at the top keeps mysteriously adding 8px + worth of padding to the top and bottom which is contributing to – if not wholly – causing it to obscure my
  3. Site URL: https://camerongetty.com Hi, I just changed the MENU text on the Wells template's mobile view to a hamburger icon, but for some reason, the icon doesn't line up nicely on the right side of the viewport like the MENU text does. Any fixes? Here's the added custom CSS: #mobileMenuLink a:before { content: ""; background-image: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5faf83293c1c873f9e16be1a/t/5fbda7bf2dd96f5918a94f27/1606264767069/icons8-menu-48.png); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: contain; background-position: center center; wid
  4. Site URL: http://dianacordarographic.design Like everyone else, I have copy/pasted the codes provided and it does nothing to reduce the logo in the footer. I don't understand why it's not working? Is there another way besides Design-Custom CSS to add code changes?
  5. Site URL: https://www.kupunacareconnection.com/ I have a secure page that contains a form with the light box feature on. When on a mobile device, the user clicks in a field to enter information, the form is zoomed in and the keyboard obscures the fields. After typing the view is still zoomed in. This does not happen on a computer. I’ve included an image. What can I do to fix?
  6. Site URL: https://turquoise-platinum-pr9s.squarespace.com Hello, I'm looking for custom css code for the mobile version of my site. My problem is: 1. On mobile view the Pagination-title becomes clipped (see img below). Just looking to have it smaller so it fits on the screen. Password: jjj Any help would be great, Jacob. @tuanphan
  7. Site URL: https://turquoise-platinum-pr9s.squarespace.com Hello, I'm looking for custom css code for the mobile version of my site. My two problems are: 1. I would like to reduce the height of the mobile footer, so the links are closer together. 2. The background I uploaded shrinks when viewed as mobile. This does not happen on the first section of the home page. Password: jjj Any help would be great, Jacob. @tuanphan
  8. Site URL: https://www.213.design Can you please help me make it so the footer text blocks don't stack on mobile. Thank you! (site password: 213)
  9. Site URL: https://lifefromtheplaypen.com/shop Hi there, I have been trying with no success to get the gallery grid to display with one image per row in mobile in squarespace 7.1. I've added some CSS to the item titles and would want that to display below each image in mobile.
  10. Site URL: https://insidefukushima.org/ Hello, I'm trying to disable scrolling (both horizontal and vertical) site-wide because it's completely breaking my website on mobile. My website is used to host images, and the template I'm using, Momentum, seems to have serious issues with displaying images on the mobile site format. The website is insidefukushima.org, and the issue begins in the photo galley pages, like https://insidefukushima.org/no-entry-signs. On a desktop, the page looks completely normal and you can scroll through the images by clicking on the left or right side of an
  11. Site URL: https://www.mackenan.com/about Hi, I am using the banner photos and for most pages they work well on both desktop and mobile. However, one particular photo is cropping too much on mobile. Is there a way to scale the photo down to crop differently on mobile only? See attached image to show how it is cropping. Thanks!
  12. Site URL: https://www.jbrav.com/wedding I'm wanting to adjust the size of the gallery to make it bigger on my mobile site. I'm okay if it crops out some of the image as longs as it's bigger! Thanks! https://www.jbrav.com/wedding
  13. Site URL: https://helicon-mackerel-9k6a.squarespace.com/ Hello, I have followed rebecca's tuto to edit all the background image on mobile. When I do that it seems to work well but the issue I have is that mobile images keep disappearing. The link generated with the custom files for the images to not redirect to an image. It looks like Squarespace remove that image from the custom files. What should I do to solve that problem? Here is the code structure I have used for each section where I wanted to show a new image @media @mobile { /* Insert Code for Mobile Below This Line*
  14. Site URL: https://carolynkdesigns.com I had CSS on my site for my product pages to display two columns on mobile. The code worked until I changed the type of page to make it more SEO friendly. Here's the code I have: @media only screen and (max-width:640px) { .products .list-grid { display: flex; flex-wrap: wrap; justify-content: space-between; } .products .grid-item { width: 48%; } } I suspect that the line that needs to be changed is the .products.list-grid since I no longer use that type of page to display products. Check out any of the five produc
  15. Site URL: https://echidna-octopus-ewe3.squarespace.com Hello, I would like an image block to zoom in/become cropped when in mobile view: The image block with the words 'Barnabas Poffley': I like the way it looks in desktop but want it to become zoomed on mobile such that the words are the same size as the image below. does anyone have any ideas I think I have exhausted all gallery/icon block design options. I have read through here for the past few hours but struggling to make anything work for me. Any help much appreciated.
  16. Site URL: http://www.simpledwelling.net/link-in-bio Hi everyone, I'm creating a 'link in bio' page on my website which will sit on the Instagram account's profile. Because Instagram is mainly viewed on mobile, I'm assuming this page will only be viewed on mobile as well. I understand Squarespace's responsiveness, but I'm wondering if it's possible to override the single-column layout on mobile and replace it with two-columns? I'd be only looking to apply it to this single page. The page will be made up of multiple single-images with the caption text below. I've attached an exa
  17. Site URL: https://www.cotswoldforager.co.uk/products/gift-vouchers Only just noticed - maybe due to an update on Squarespace - that my mobile pages are now showing the script in the header at the top of the page. It hasn't been a problem up until the last day or so, although it does show briefly when loading on both mobile and desktop, but I have no idea how to fix this... Any help would be hugely appreciated
  18. Hello, First post here, looking for some advice working with the following css script: <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.2.1/jquery.min.js"></script> <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/scrollify/1.0.19/jquery.scrollify.min.js"></script> <script> $(function() { $.scrollify({ section : ".Index-page", }); }); </script> This "Scroll-Lock" script works great on my desktop site, but not so much on mobile. I think I'd rather
  19. Site URL: http://sawapopup.squarespace.com Hello! I am working on an e-commerce site using the Ventura template. On mobile, the categories type bar requires a left-right scroll which isn't instantly visible nor intuitive. Many people who tested out the site didn't understand that they had to scroll left-right to see the different categories. Does anyone know of a code I could use to limit the category titles to the width of the mobile screen, in a way that all categories become instantly visible and don't require a horizontal scroll?

  21. Site URL: http://bradleystearn.co.uk/ I'm struggling to find a way to remove the negative/blank space on the mobile view of my website. Viewing on desktop the design is how I would like it, swithcing to a mobile view you'll see a lot of negative white space between my header, and the image slideshow. I've been hunting around the design section of the edit menu, but cannot find a way to remove this space, which doesn't affect the design of the desktop version. http://bradleystearn.co.uk/ Thank you
  22. Site URL: http://www.ryanballphotography.com Hi there, I have setup my homepage with three images as a grid:overlay. I have set this to show text after I hover, this is perfect for desktop browsers and I don't want to change this. However for mobile devices, the text doesn't show (as the hover function does not work on touch devices). I therefore want to change this to "show text before hover" for mobile browsers, without affecting the desktop browser. So how do I keep "show text after hover" on the desktop browser and "show text before hover" on mobile devices. I'm using squa
  23. Is anyone else seeing really bad mobile speed tests on their Squarespace sites? Every one I test has good desktop speed tests (80+/100) using PageSpeed insights but really bad on a mobile (under 40/100), some under 30... Does anyone have any tips how to improve mobile speed? Main issues seem to be the following: Eliminate render-blocking resources Remove unused JavaScript Serve images in next-gen formats Remove unused CSS Ensure text remains visible during webfont load Reduce the impact of third-party code (all seems to be Squarespace and Adobe Typ

  25. Site URL: https://magnolia-hawk-8wyh.squarespace.com/ Password: thisisart I figured out how to turn off the hover effect in my portfolio grid using the below code, but now it's hard to read on the mobile. Can someone help me with code to put a overlay gradient on mobile only or a suggestion to make the text legible? Thanks! // Portfolio Text on Mobile // @media screen and (max-width:640px) { .portfolio-text { opacity: 1 !important; } } @media screen and (max-width:767px) { .portfolio-text h3 { color: white !important; font-size: 26px ! important; } }
