After adding a custom menu with multiple language options, for which it is important to add the language es / en / fr / de at the beginning of a URL. It doesn't seem to function completely, except for the English version. When navigating through the main navigation for Spanish/French/German website it seems to work: http://www.dametulengua.org/es/school, until entering into a blog post such as this one http://www.dametulengua.org/escuela-2/es/tallerconversacional. The top navigation titles suddenly changes to English (I have no idea why it changes to English out of all four languages).

Hi. I've noticed that the hamburger icon on 7.1, which on my site comes up with a narrow window or on mobile, is strangely only 2 lines rather than the standard 3. I've had feedback from a friend saying that it might not be immediately clear on mobile that the 2 thin lines lead to a menu, whereas a bolder one with the usual 3 would be more obvious. The helpdesk told me there's no way around this apart from with custom code so can somebody please help me with how to achieve this?

I've done tons of food sites before, but I had to use a menu block "tabs" based menu for the first time. Shouldn't the underline switch when the taxonomy is active? Reason to have them in the first place was for easy use on mobile... but it's even worse accessibility there. I've cleared cache etc.

It's possible I'm overlooking something totally obvious, but I'm trying to figure out the CSS to create an in-page dropdown menu that someone would click on and have the option to click on links to multiple other pages or files. I don't just want a standard button that links to one thing. I'm looking to create something like pictured in this image: Please help! Thanks!

The menu panel doesn't go away in Mobile mode
Kai_Tang posted a question in Coding and Customization
I designed a one-page website, the page will scroll down when you click the selected item in the top of the menu bar in desktop mode. The Problem is that in mobile mode( will change to hamburger menu), even when I clicked the selected item, the menu panel doesn't go away due to the one-page design which won't reload the page. -
Hey all, Just thought I'd share my little hack to create navigation on a group of subpages belonging to the same folder in the main navigation. Disclaimer: This was done in somewhat of a hurry, and I haven't used jQuery in a long time, so there's likely a more efficient way to code it. If you know or come up with a better way, please do share it! The way to use this, is simply by creating a folder in the main navigation with pages in it. Then on each page, using the code block, insert a DIV with the ID "pageMenu". Then add the code below using code injection

Hi y'all. I'm trying to create a mini-menu on one of my pages. Basically I have four text links next to each other on a textblock. I'd like to know how to keep them evenly spaced and prevent vertical stacking when viewed on tablet and mobile? Attached is a screenshot of the desktop view. It seems fairly simple, but I can't figure it out.

Make a folder link - but NOT on mobile?
brusselsprouts posted a question in Coding and Customization
Hi, folks - I'm building a site using a Brine child theme. I wanted to make my folder links in my topline nav link to pages (which should be easy to do!) and found that several folks had crafted solutions to this, so that's great! I went with the simple HTML workaround described here, and it's working great. However: I then noticed that on mobile, the folders I've added links to don't expand — they just go to the page I've linked to. (For example: say I have a folder called "Projects." I renamed that folder < a href="/projects" > Projects < /a > ...so that it now links to m- 2 replies

I have a few unlinked pages that I want to use as "landing pages" Meaning that when someone lands there, I don't want there to be any links back to the rest of my site. I have been able to remove the navigation menu from the desktop version of the page using the code shown in the attached file screenshot68. But as shown in screenshot66, it still shows up in the mobile view. I have tried several ways to disable the menu showing in the mobile view, but none have worked so far. I've also noticed that the footer navigation needs to be removed also. So any advice on that would also be greatly a

Replacing Hamburger menu with text in mobile version of Jasper
Grice posted a question in Coding and Customization
I have seen several responses related to replacing the Hamburger symbol with "Menu" text in some templates but have not seen one yet that works with the Jasper template. @Paul2009 seems to have figured it out for some people. Would be great if anyone could provide a solution. Thank You.- 2 replies

I'm using Julia template for a wedding website. I've only got three items in the top navigation bar but when these are viewed on a tablet in portrait mode, the last items drops down/wraps really awkwardly. i think it's because the thin lines at each side of the Nav bar are too wide but I can't find a way to shorten them and edit them to stop this happening. Any ideas? Attached are pics of both landscape and portrait mode.
