Feeling new love for SqSp. Few sites in. Any good workarounds to get a simple flow where a visiting user can; ...use a public/simple form to review a local service (area ID dropdown, score metric, free text comment) then 'on submit' posts to a password protected message board, based on area ID? Allowing local service provider(s) to see only their feed of comments. Could use a 2-step form where first area ID screener pushes to 'local form' page then a direct 1:1 between form submission pushed to a regional results page. Serving free text form content as blog-style posts back into SqSp is prob the exam question here? I can fudge a manual workaround for mvp. Would be nice if SqSp could get me to test without dev spend. This community seems to have the ninja moves to solve lots of edge-case needs. Hopeful. Good vibes all. -
Hi all, I am working on creating a Member Area and would like to implement a "Join Fee", in addition to the monthly membership fee. The fee will be used to cover the goodies that come along with their membership. I have tried to achieve this through Marketing emails, member paywalls, and digital products with no success. Suggestions are appreciated! -

I just started with member areas for my online fitness classes (so I am new to this system) and was wondering if and when I have a member that is going to be away for an extended period of time (3 weeks or more), is there a way to give them a discount/credit for that month AFTER they have already signed up? I know that if they are going month to month they could easily cancel and then rejoin but if they choose the two month option, do they get a credit for the month not used if they cancel? Any suggestions would be apprecited. Thanks. -
Hi! I am thinking about creating a Squarespace Membership website for a client but one of the requirements is having 2FA logins for members. Currently, Member Areas do not have this feature. Does anyone know of an integration or plugin that would make this possible with Squarespace? It doesn't necessarily need to work with Member Areas, we are fine with a 3rd party integration. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated! -
I´ve been trying to figure out a way to build a membership area on my webpage. I have the older version, 7.0. I even bought the digital product add-on. But apparently due to older version, Squarespace doesnt allow me to create what I´ve paid for. Does anyone know solution for this? Other than taking down my webpage and transferring everything to 7.1, buying a new domain etc? That´s hell of a work and makes me consider changing my webpage to somewhere else. So, can you build member area when using the older version 7.0. with digital product add-on?

Hi guys, I have a potential client who is going to start a gym here in Germany. Usually Gym-Memberships in Germany are based on yearly contracts, some with the option to cancel subscription on a monthly basis. Additionally gyms take a one-time sign up fee when a new customer joins the gym. So the client will have 3 Pricing Models. Model 1: 12 month contract, cant be cancelled before it runs out. After 12 Months, the subscription rolls over to a new one, but customers can cancel every month (german law). Monthly payments of X€ One time sign up fee of X€. Model 2 is essentially the same as Model 1, just more gym features included. Model 3 Subscription can be cancelled every month / not a 12 month contract. One time sign up fee of X€ To sum it up. In reality the situation would look like this: Model 1 Customer signs up and gets an invoice/pays a sign up fee + first monthly rate -> Gets send all contract information. Can't cancel. Model 2 Customer signs up and gets an invoice of sign up fee + first monthly rate -> Gets send all contract information.. Can't cancel. Model 3 Customer signs up and gets an invoice of sign up fee + first monthly rate -> Gets send all contract information. Can cancel every month. Is this type of pricing structure / checkout with squarespace even possible? Thanks for your help. -

I've done a lot of looking around for ideas on how to make my members area dashboard more 'dashboard-y'. I can't really find a solution for it anywhere that would allow me to make something along the lines of what I'm going for. https://www.jabberdesigns.com/members/dashboard login credentials for test account: test@usertest.com pass: 1234567890 Ideally, I'd like to display each member's personal order information, invoices, status, etc. Whatever sort of data I am able to integrate into my dashboards to give a more 'personal touch'. If this isn't possible, is it still at least possible to have a section that links to a 3rd party provider that would allow me to display this information to individual members? Basically, I'd like to add a more 'personal' touch to each of the available tiered dashboards that essentially pulls information from the squarespace account panel and displays it in my members area dashboards. Or if that is a feature not currently available/implemented, are there any/other 3rd party options available that would allow me to do this? Many thanks!

I’ve built forms on 2 pages in the Member area. I want the responses submitted to those forms to be kept separate by member, rather than all responses going into a single Google Sheet. Is it possible to segregate form responses by member? Thanks! -
Good evening! I'm setting up a course and I'd like to sell it as a membership. I'd like to start with a low price but increase it gradually. The thing is: I'd like to increase the price for the new members, not for the old ones. I mean, if you registered paying $5 and I raise the fee to $10, I would like you to keep paying the same. Is it possible?

Hi all, I'm looking to do a "member of the month" in my monthly recurring membership programme, where I reward one of my members with a free month! I can't see a way to do this and it seems very restrictive in what I can offer. When I go to set up the code, it either requires that it be their first payment, or they receive the discount for every single payment going forward (i only want it to be a month!). Is there a fix for this? This seems like it should be very easy to do. On other platforms, you can give out codes quite easily, but this seems super restrictive? Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Hello everyone, I'm pretty experienced with Squarespace and run 3 websites on this platform. But the Member Area is a new feature for me and it's throwing me for a loop! My website event-accom.co.nz is a small-scale holiday home rental site for the town of Gisborne, New Zealand. The password to the site is "gizzyhouses". I appreciate your feedback and help. I set up a Member Area so that only registered users can see the house listings. It's Free, just need to make an account. The "Listings" button in main navigation takes users to the paywall page. Once they create an account and log in they should see the Listings page which is essentially a gallery of images, each image linking to a page that is the individual house listing with the photos and details. Problem is that once logged in it goes nowhere, just sits on the paywall page with no access to the Listings page I must have missed a step somewhere but can't work it out. Any ideas appreciated!! Thank you 🙂

My website, www.sidecareleader.com has a member area that recently started having issues. The member's area is locked even after logging in. The paywall is free so anyone should be able to get to the members-only area. It also doesn't change the navigation even though the settings are set to "replace main navigation." -
I am new so be gentle. I've built out an unpublished site and created a member area following all the videos out there. The problem is all the videos never really show where the members login. I see nowhere to add the member area to the main header navigation and no options in the member area setup to add it. My side bar while building the site has my member area and pages I've built out in there in the tree below it, but still no "login" button anywhere in the site's nav bar. Am I missing something? I attached my site building side bar to show what I'm seeing, but I see nothing in the header other than the pages I've linked and no "login" for members. Also yes, I've setup paywall plan.

I am putting together a proposal for a client and trying to determine if Squarespace has the functionality or ability to integrate with a 3rd party platform to meet the needs of a website feature. The client specializes in tourism. They have a functionality on their current website that allows local businesses to login and post listings of last minute availability they have for tours, lodging, etc. Since this content is managed by the business itself, I was thinking of creating a member area where businesses could login and post content that is then reflected to the "public" side of the website. However, it seems like member areas only allow access to content posted by the website owner. Is there any way to go about this with member areas, or a recommended integration I could use to create such a feature? Thanks! -
Is there any way to allow users to see all of their scheduled events in one place? Forgive me if this is a simple question. We offer several classes/services that our users can sign up for, and I'd love if they could see all of those in one place. Thanks! -

Hello, I'm looking to customize the member navigation title on my site. I have the member navigation set to replace the main navigation, which is what I want, but since my membership type is "annual membership", it doesn't particularly lend itself to "hover here and see the menu". I'd like to change "annual membership" to "annual membership menu" or something like that. Does anyone know how to do this? Or is there a code to to this?

Rebuilding a website for a small arts center. Is it possible to import a member database with membership expiration month either as "customers" or as "members"? Or even to input manually? This would be for the purposes of reminding them to renew their subscription every year. Some members are elderly and will not cope well with being prompted to make a new account.

Hello Squarespace code pros. I am working on a website for a non-profit organization. They have about 100 members and they want me to create text directory that only members can access. They don't actually have a member area thing setup, and don't really need that. I know that I can password protect a new page, but I'm wondering if there's a code that I can use to organize the members by first name, last name, phone, email, social links (see attached image) and also to allow an option to sort the information by first name, last name, or area of expertise, with a search bar that they can type into. @tuanphan and anyone else - Is there a way to change the "3 Months" above where it says "3 bottles"? I would like the options to be Pick Up and Shipping instead of 3 months and 3 months. Hello, I can't find this information doesn't matter how I search it. Is member area an extra cost to my website? I'm on the business plan, do I have to also pay for the member area if I want to have it or is it included in my plan? I can't find this information anywhere and I'm starting to think this doesn't work for what I want to do. I appreciate any insights. -
The "join" button for my memberships is suddenly missing, and i don't know where it went or how to get it back! it used to be on the paywall page that can only be accessed if youre logged out (https://pixrtea.com/weekly-horoscopes). Before it disappeared, "Join" was small and just a link, no button. I appreciate any help!
