  2. Site URL: https://type-a-professionals.squarespace.com https://type-a-professionals.squarespace.com password: verbatim Hello experts! I'm using a typewriter effect on my redesigned site and I've gotten it close to the way I want it to look, but I need some help with the finishing touches, please! How do I get the cursor to finish "typing" after the last period and not continue on to the end of the code block? I have the display set to "flex" but the tablet view still cuts off the A and the period. How do I fix that? (It looks fine on mobile.) And while
  3. Site URL: http://chasepickering.design I have a portfolio website and I am having trouble aligning my content with my header and footer. I want the content to span the full 1200px of my website (line up with the header and footer) and retain the 3vw margin as it is resized. Would also like the left and right navigation arrows to line up with the footer. I have been messing with it for about 2 hours now and cannot figure out a solution. Hope I was clear enough and I would really appreciate the help!
  4. Site URL: https://wij.design Hello! I want to have all my portfolio Items have the same clickable / hoverable 'bounding box' Their block ID is 'portfolio-hover-item-title', and each have 2rem of right-padding, but I would like them all to have the same size 'box' regardless of item title length. 5. Site URL: https://www.americanlaundryequipment.com Hi there! Wondering if anyone can help me increase the size of the top margin on the entire site. I can adjust the header padding within the site style section, but this also adds space below the header, which I don't want. Looking to just increase the vertical space at the very top only. Thanks so much!
  6. Site URL: https://www.studiokotoisa.fi I have extra margin on mobile view (see the grey are on the right) and I think it's because there's something wrong with my testimonial slider. I had similar problem before but I can't remember how it was fixed.
  7. Site URL: https://www.winstonmaxwell.com/winston-maxwell-art-collective-art-handling Hi, I've been trying to adjust the spacing between the caption and the images, but they're all too big. I've tried the codes I found in some of the questions here, but they don't work on the site. I was wondering if anyone can help me out? We're also on a plan that doesn't allow injecting codes on certain pages only. Thank you. - P
  8. Site URL: https://www.lago.lt/store/p/day-dreaming Hi, Been searching for answer for a few hours, unfortunately unsuccessfully. How to remove padding and margins for a specific block on Squarespace 7.1? In my case, I want to make additional information section in products page full-width, without any padding or margins. https://www.lago.lt/store/p/day-dreaming Password: Slyva1
  9. Site URL: http://calgarycannabis.squarespace.com I added a vertical navigation, but the code I used isn't shifting the rest of the site over by 15px, which is the width of the nav. It looks off & is no longer centred as a result. Does anyone have a code which can shift the entire site over to the left by 15px? Thank you! calgarycannabis.squarespace.com password: cannabis
  10. On the mission of building my website and want to add a standard "claims banner" element to different pages. I know very basic CSS and cannot figure out how to adjust the content wrapper on this specific element so the banner spans across 100% of my page's width (no padding, no margin). How can I fix this? Ideally, I would like to create a custom code that would apply every time I upload this same banner file (which is a .png) in different pages of my site. Is this possible? Hope someone can help 🙂 Julia https://jellyfish-cow-prac.squarespace.com/ testj
  11. Site URL: https://www.fromyourmuse.com I'd like to include padding to the left and right side of my masonry and basic grid blog pages only on desktop. The first image shows what my site looks like and the second shows how id like the margins to look! Looking to know what CSS to include. website pwd: musings2
  12. Site URL: http://www.domrugman.co.uk Hi, I recently requested some help with my margins on mobile. Since applying the code from the response, my desktop margins seem to have been thrown out of sync from homepage to work page. And the mobile margins still don't line up. I'm hoping to achieve a really slimline margin on all pages, at all sizes, that feels consistent from desktop to mobile. Logo, copy and images to all perfectly align that margin. domrugman.co.uk - pass: dom123 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Dom
  13. Site URL: https://www.courtneychecks.com/ Thank you to everyone who has helped already (crawling these questions/solutions has solved so many issues without even having to ask). TL;DR I'm not a proper designer, just trying my best. I'm now having issues with a huge blank space to the right of my whole site. I can fix it by setting the header's overflow to hidden, but that hides my drop-down navigation, which is, naturally, a higher priority to keep. I'm especially running into issues with a strange issue this causes on mobile viewing on certain browsers, as this causes my drop-down
  14. Site URL: https://www.shopnead.com/ Hello, I am trying to get an even margin (left and right) for the three main elements of the website. I would like the inset header to lead the size of the side margins across the body and the footer of the website. Would someone be able to help me figure this out? CSS is also fine. This is an example page but ideally it would be the same across all the pages. URL: https://www.shopnead.com/vintage PASSWORD: Radcliff Thank you, Maxime
  15. Hi everyone Is it possible to adjust the space between two sections if you don't have a premium account (and therefore access to bespoke CSS changes)? If feels like quite a basic design adjustment we should be able to control. I'm using Squarespace 7.1. It seems that bottom padding is the main culprit. I've made sure there are no empty blocks causing the issue. I also looked under Design and the only thing I can adjust are the left and right paddings of the page. Thanks for any support you can give!
  16. Site URL: https://www.nancygoold.com/ Hello, I was following some advice posted here on how to create whitespace padding around grid items in the Flatiron template which didn't really work. As it didn't work I deleted the custom CSS but for some reason (even after deleting) white margins now remain on either side (left and right) of my site - these are horrible and I'd like to remove them. Have I broken the template? Any help greatly appreciated and thanks in advance, Nancy
  17. Site URL: https://findgrace.com/test-1 Hi everyone, The Anya template has a lot of white space, I am wondering if there is a way to reduce the white space on the sides of the body and for example have the calendar fill the whole page? Thanks!
  18. Site URL: https://fish-violet-tr2r.squarespace.com/ The issue I am having is that my image is getting cut off by the site margin right now. I could change the site margin, but then all my text would be hugging the edge of the page so I just want to change this one specific sections site margin if that is possible. Password is "pickandeat123"
  19. Site URL: https://bluebird-porcupine-yzdg.squarespace.com/home-g4w85 Hello, is it possible to remove some padding from a section on my test homepage? Please see attached images. I want to have my text pushed higher up without compromising the section height. Page = https://bluebird-porcupine-yzdg.squarespace.com/home-g4w85 Pword = bluebird Many thanks, Best, Faiz
  20. Site URL: https://dirtyrubbers.com/all-lubricants/p/astroglide-gel Hey everyone, Can someone pls help me remove this empty whitespace between my products' "Add to cart" button and the "Additional Info" section? Keep in mind this empty space only appears on desktop and not on smaller screen sizes. Thanks in advance! Thanks in advance!
  21. Site URL: http://www.domrugman.co.uk Hi, (pass - 0123) I have my margins really tight and simple on my desktop site... But as page width scales down towards mobile, the header and site margins offset dramatially... Then once aligned, the margins feel much thicker than they do on desktop... is there a way to keep margins consistent all the way down to mobile through varying breakpoints? Many th
  22. So yesterday I experienced a margin error that occured all across my website, including my backups. Today the error corrected itself without me getting notified. It's so awesome that Squarespace fixes issues so fast, but what happened to the report? - If this issue occured for all 7.1 Squarespace users, why is that not announced in the status anywhere? Or did I just experience something odd personally even though I was told by your costumer care that it happened to everyone? Im really confused here.
  23. Site URL: https://www.melissatakai.com/ Hi there, I notice that the right side of my website has this random blank space (not sure if this is considered padding, border, or margin) as seen in the screenshot below. This problem only happens when I view my website on a large desktop computer. It looks fine (meaning no blank space) on my laptop. Any way I can get rid of this? Thank you!
  24. Site URL: https://www.deka.solutions/ Hey everyone, Recently viewed the site I created and everything is zoomed in. It is like the margins went to 0px and I do not know why? A good example is on deka.solutions/giving if you scroll down the the video animations, you will see that the video is zoomed in so much that it goes out of the code block it is supposed to be in. Here is a screenshot if what I am talking about. Can anyone tell me why this is and/or how to fix it?
  25. Site URL: https://www.dadsuggests.com/home/dads-bookshelf-november-2020 I am trying to move my custom buttons closer together on my website. Here is an example article: https://www.dadsuggests.com/home/dads-bookshelf-november-2020 I don't like the large space between the two buttons that say "Buy on Amazon" and "Shop Local on IndieBound" under each book. I'd like to reduce that space. I have already tried code that reduces margin left and right and padding left and right, but it doesn't seem to accomplish what I want. There's just too much white space in the parent container of the butt
