  1. Site URL: https://endive-denim-89ds.squarespace.com/contact Hi all! 👋 After some intensive research on the forum and on the web, I am looking for a way to close the popup Lightbox form (when you select any of the "Pitch" "Ask" "Join" button...) by clicking outside the form (like, in the background for example). Right now, the Lightbox form can only be closed by clicking on the X button, but I notice that people always try first to click on the background (away from the Lightbox) to close it, and I'd love to make this available to them too. Would someone know how to do that? Thank you so much!
  2. Site URL: https://gallery23.co.uk/robinson Good morning all, I may be going crazy but I have a feeling that there has been a very recent change in the code which Squarespace generates when adding a summary block to a blank page. The URL I mention (like several other pages on the site) has a summary block at the bottom which points to a gallery page in 7.0. Clicking on an image in the carousel opens the lightbox view BUT it opens the lightbox in the gallery page, not in the page which contains the summary block. I finished another website less than a month ago. Clicking on an image in, for example, https://www.framednewmills.co.uk/flat opens a similar lightbox BUT in the page containing ths summary block. If I try to add a new page to this website, it displays the clickthrough behaviour which I don't want (i.e. it opens the gallery page first). I'd be interested to see whether anyone else has the same issue. I'm almost certain that I haven't done anything stupid, but this can never be ruled out 😉 Thanks in advance. Regards, Trevor.
  3. Site URL: https://www.machinevisionbar.com/casestudies/tutorial-removing-the-hot-spot Hello ! I'm looking to customise the button of a Lightbox Form on one of my pages: https://www.machinevisionbar.com/casestudies/tutorial-removing-the-hot-spot name of the form: "get the full technote for free" the button is very small and I would like to make it bigger. Would you please have a CSS code I could use for this? thank you very much in advance:) Marianne

  5. Site URL: https://www.billywilson.studio/drawing Hi There, When I'm on my mobile and I want to view a landscape format image in a larger view, I open it in lightbox view and then rotate my phone to the side so that the photo rotates into landscape. Upon rotation I get part of another image cropping into the screen from above. Is there any way to fix this? https://www.billywilson.studio/drawing password: bwcs
  6. Since last big update I haven't updated my portfolio since today. I noticed that when I have a page full a summaries (wedding photos of different weddings - let's call this wedding page) new ones that I created have problem. Old ones don't. When I click a thumbnail in my page lightbox opens. When I click X to get back gallery page opens instead of wedding page. I have created galleries and added them to my wedding page by using summary / wall. Thanks for your help for advance 🙂
  7. Hi guys, I'll keep this short, thanks for reading! I have multiple buttons on my page, that when clicked, brings up a corresponding text lightbox. The code for the lightbox looks like this. What I've done is manually insert a button into this text lightbox. I want the button to lead to the Get In Touch page, which already has the anchor link #get-in-touch. However, it seems that the button doesn't work whilst it's inside the lightbox. Setting the button destination to an anchorlink, or even trying to open a URL, doesn't work. Does anyone know what I can do? I would prefer the button to load a page and jump to a specific anchorlink, but I wouldn't mind workarounds such as opening a new tab and going to a specific URL too. (Also, let me know if I went overboard with the inception on this one...) <div style="display:none;"> <div id="social-media-content" style="max-width:800px;"> <p> <h3 style="font-size:30px;">Content</h3> <p style="font-size:16px;">Text goes here. Lorem ipsum etc etc.</p> <div class="sqs-block button-block sqs-block-button"> <a href="//cdn.rawgit.com/noelboss/featherlight/1.3.2/release/featherlight.min.css" data-featherlight="#get-in-touch" data-featherlight-variant="lightbox-bgcolor" class="sqs-block-button-element--medium sqs-block-button-element">Get In Touch</a> </div> </div> </div>
  8. Hi all. I have a Gallery section, (in 7.1) set to Masonry layout, with Lightboxing activated. I would like to have the images' individual descriptions/captions HIDDEN at the top level (so the masonry grid stays clean), but VISIBLE in full when someone clicks on an image to expand it into the lightbox format. I know it's not natively possible, but is there a way to do it with a code snippet perhaps? There is so much I need to say about each image, but not at the top, section level. The first impact has to be one of clean lines and no clutter. The second level, is drilling down to the descriptions. The logical way to do that is by creating a lightbox state that also shows the image's description. Any help or advice greatly appreciate. Happy to venmo some cash to someone who could help me add the right code. Cheers
  9. Site URL: http://telafella.co.uk Hey, I saw a few solutions for images not to be cropped or altered from their original size on lightbox mode. My product images are in square ratio. On desktop view they come out great in the lightbox mode when you click on the image (it's in the right ratio, square). But on mobile view they come out cropped on lightbox mode and you can't view the rest of the image zoomed in. Please seek the images below for comparison. So I am happy with the desktop but is it possible on the mobile view that when its selected on the lightbox can people hover around the image to see the rest of the picture. Because I understand that if it stays as square it won't really zoom in, but I want it to be flexible enough to be zoomed and see the rest of the image. Thanks
  10. Hello there, Would like to add a button that when clicked, a text lightbox would pop. Any suggestion? Thanks a lot! Ana
  11. Site URL: https://www.chandrastation.com/ PW:1234 I have been trying to resize my lightboxes for mobile and I am having trouble I referred to this post that was made back in may of last year but it didnt solve my problem unless I didnt change something that I was supposed to. My issue is that the lightbox is super long and not wide enough. The code that I currently have I pasted below. Any help is really appreciated //Lightbox resize for mobile @media screen and (max-width:640px) { .collection-type-products .lightbox-content { max-width: 350px !important; } }
  12. So in a normal situation, I would have a gallery of images, when I click on each image, a lightbox with an enlarged image will pop up, let's call it "lightbox within gallery" But I am looking for something different, more of a "gallery within a lightbox". Let say I have a row of 3 images (Red, Blue, Yellow), when I click into "Red", a lightbox pops up, the light box contain a series of images only related to "Red", and they don't show up anywhere except on the lightbox. Same thing when I click into "Blue", a lightbox of gallery containing a series of images only related to "Blue", and then there are arrows/buttons where I can click to see the next/previous image in the "Blue" series. Is this possible to do? Thanks! YY
  13. Site URL: https://cecilssheshed.squarespace.com/handcrafted-ring-dishes/p/the-easter-collection Lightbox issue: Clicking a product image opens a different image vs opening the image that is selected. Appears to happen more after the product variant triggers the product image. The issue is happening on nearly every product page.
  14. Site URL: https://www.wordsbyhermes.com/test I want to pop a ConvertKit form on button click using javacript (i tried inserting the form as HTML and it wouldn't display anything inside a <p> tag). I tried the SpaceTutorials "button lightbox" set up and got the result at the URL above. The problem is that everything works right up until you want to close the form and return to the page. Basically, you're stuck once you click the button. I dunno, could be good to increase optin rate, but super shitty UX. Can you tell me if i've done something to cause this? Or how i can fix it so that the 'x' button is clickable? The code on the actual button looks like the below (Spacetutorials header and footer code are in place already.) Thanks. <div style="text-align:center; padding:0;"> <a href="#/" data-featherlight="#bio-john" class="sqs-block-button-element--medium sqs-block-button-element" style="background-color:#000; color:#fff; padding:20px 20px;">View John's Bio</a> </div> <div style="display:none;"> <div id="bio-john" style="text-align:center;"> <script async data-uid="8dd9c2100e" src="https://words-by-hermes.ck.page/8dd9c2100e/index.js"></script> </div> </div>
  15. Site URL: https://www.jenuman.com/24hours Hey yall! I'm trying to add some custom CSS to an artwork site that I'm working on but am having trouble using some of the scripts I've seen online. Basically what I'd like to do is to be able to hover over each image in a carousel gallery and have the images/artworks enlarge with a description of the piece of artwork. I'm not even sure if it's possible to do such a thing involving text, as it seems like a tall order; so I could be happy with just a simple lightbox hover feature. I've attached a couple images, one is of the gallery as it looks and one of the ideal hover scenario. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks! Lee
  16. Site URL: https://garlic-chinchilla-f53p.squarespace.com I'm making a portfolio, using a masonry gallery. I've found some code that means when I hover over each image the description shows over the image. But it's meant that my lightbox is disabled, i found more code to rectify but it doesn't seem to work: .gallery-masonry-lightbox-link:after { content:''; position: absolute; width: 100%; height: 100%; top: 0; left: 0; z-index: 9999; } Does anyone know how to get my lightbox to show and still keep my hover text? Thanks in advance
  17. Site URL: https://bison-maroon-z654.squarespace.com/ Hi ! I was wondering if you could help me with a CSS code. I have a page on my website where I have a few "read more" texts. When someone clicks on the "read more" message, I would like a pop up text to appear on the page when I could write some additional information. And once the reader has finished reading this "read more" information, he could just close the pop up text and carry on reading the page. the page is https://bison-maroon-z654.squarespace.com/products password: TPLvision2021 thank you very much in advance for your help, that would be great if this is possible ! Marianne
  18. Site URL: https://lynda-evans-draft.squarespace.com/?password=EquineART2021 I'm using the Rally template (Brine) in 7.0 and trying to resize the title and description fonts in the Gallery Lightbox captions. Nothing I've tried is working. Also need to resize the whole caption area, inc background, as in mobile view its covering about half of the image 😞 Any suggestions much appreciated at this point!
  19. Site URL: https://glockenspiel-lily-ypyr.squarespace.com/floor-plans-s-d Hello! I would like to have images in the simple slideshow enlarge when clicked or zoom in and move with the cursor when hovered over. Basically I want people to be able to see the details of each image (floor plans in this case). I'm a novice to coding, but I was able to find a basic code that makes the image enlarge when hovering. My issue with this is, you can't move around the image to see different parts of it while zoomed in. Any advice or work-around would be much appreciated! I've seen some people say that they uploaded each image to a page of their own, then used a link or code to have the image page open. If there's a way to do that without it opening a new page I'd be happy to try that.
  20. Site URL: https://raccoon-salamander-dgyf.squarespace.com Hey y'all, so I have lightbox anything set up to display an image gallery when a user clicks an image on the Collections page (password for the site is highfashion, if you want to take a look. I need a way to integrate some kind of magnifying glass or an image zoom that follows the cursor within the lightbox, any ideas? Cheers! @tuanphan, any help? 🙏🏽
  21. Site URL: https://sheep-smilodon-x2a6.squarespace.com I have 2 radio buttons on a Lightbox form and the text is way too far away from the radio buttons. Can someone help me with a fix? You can see on the screenshot what's going on.
  22. Site URL: https://demo11parkplace.squarespace.com Howdy forum peeps, I am currently using "Lightbox Anything" plugin and I'm looking to vertically center my lightbox content for the lightboxes that are triggered by clicking on the building floors. Currently focusing on Floor 9 for testing. I tried using the following css to target the "base page" that is being used as the lightbox content, however it only works when the page is viewed independently NOT as a lightbox. #floor-9-lightbox .sqs-row { display: flex; align-items: center; box-sizing: border-box; justify-content: center; } I also tried adding the above styles to the "html .c-lightbox__content" class from the Lightbox Anything custom styles but this also didn't workout for me. 😞 Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!
  23. Site URL: http://flipcollective.squarespace.com Hi All!! I'm stuck on one tiny thing on a site i'm working on: I'm wanting the navigation button to open a form lightbox... and it can be the same one use in other places on the same site. I've searching the code for those buttons but I can't find a way to make that link. Any ideas? @tuanphan? flipcollective.squarespace.com Password: 1234
  24. Site URL: https://www.sunlighttax.com/moneybootcamp I'm new to Squarespace since I just started a new job in January. We're currently selling a product on our website that uses a lightbox mode form that pops up to fill out when people buy it. I want to be able to hide or disable the form if we sell out of the product so that I don't have to rebuild the entire form once we want to sell it again later in the year. The button is at bottom of page and says "Yes, I want to get serious about my career (with taxes)." I would let people know that the product is sold out by replacing the picture that says DFY Bootcamp with one that has SOLD OUT added across the top. I've seen other posts that mention using CSS to hide the form; how would I do that?
