  1. My websites (three with squarespace, two important commerce sites) all suddenly went weird.Looks like none of the template code is loading - the page looks like a mishap from 1998 internet days. ferrum-d.comschmiedekurs.chschmiede-gentile.com those are three individual websites - none does load properly.Even inside the squarespace site manager, they show up as "blank" and within the editor the entire layouting is missing. This is extremly bad, as those are my main busienss pages. Anyone? Squarspace? help? please?
  2. Here's the page that needs help.http://briandorseystudios.com/shootproof-index(the codeblock seems to want to right justify the content) Here's the code that's called. <script type="text/javascript">var _spRemote={width:1920,height:1080} ;var _ce = parseInt(Math.random() * 99999999);document.write('<sc' + 'ript type="text/javascript" src="https://photos.briandorseystudios.com/remote/embed?ce=' + _ce + '"></sc' + 'ript>');</script> I'm not a coder. Can anyone explain to me (in simple terms...) how to get the output of this block centered on the page? Since it's a code block, i can't use spacer blocks. Thanks!
  3. Just started happening after several years with no problems. When I want to edit a page, the Pages nav bar is okay at the side, but the main part of the page is cut off and only shows about two inches' worth. There's a scroll bar at the side, so I can edit pages, but you'll understand that trying to edit a page when viewing only a two inch deep strip is, er, annoying! Have I accidentally altered a setting or something? Help please.
  4. Greetings community, So, the HYDE template works well for me, for what I am doing, but my secondary point of the site I am building is a blog. And Hyde isn't the most friendly for Blogs. I've gotten creative. I do like the idea of simplicity, and no standard side-bar. But curious what options I may have, custom coding, or small additions I can make to improve the layout. Should I add an about me, and photo, horizontal somewhere? Better yet, if you're using Hyde and have a blog I would love to see it. Thanks for the help in advance. Here is my site: https://www.enokithreads.com/anotherblog
  5. Hi all, I am trying to center my logo and my nav bar on the same line, same line meaning, I don't want the nav bar sitting on top or bottom of the logo. I want the nav bar centered, and sitting on the left and right of the logo, like in this photo. Is this possible with the Hyde Template? Example photo attached. Thanks.
  6. One of the things that disappoints us about Squarespace is the inability to do 3 equal column layouts with images if you need space on the sides. Sometimes you don't want giant images and saving images with a ton of whitespace canvas is just kinda silly and looks bad on mobile. Seems every other web platform has kept up with the demands of responsive layouts. Maybe others are using this hack (or a better one), but posting this in case anyone else is struggling. So to center three images... Create a BLANK page section with MANAGE SECTIONS. Remember the name of this section for CSS in Step 4. Add your three equal size height and width images (like client / customer logos with same pixel dimensions.) Go to Custom CSS and add this code... #yoursectionname {margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; display: block; width: 75%;}Adjust the width to wider or more narrow. Works like a charm for us. Hope this helps.
  7. I would like to add above my banner ( in the homepage ) a text and / image with white background leaving spaces on both sides to see the banner while scrolling, I tried to use layout images but it works only if I use both image and text and still it could work only using collage or overlap design. What if I only would add text in the center of the banner with white background?
  8. You can see the homepage I'm working on here: https://mustard-purple-5te8.squarespace.com/ (password: "stmarkstest") If you scroll down you will see the 3-up image section I have added, where each images has a button beneath it. this looks good and works on PC and tablet, but on mobile the buttons are moved below all three images because of how the browser sees the sections are organized. Is there a way to tell Squarespace to keep each button below it's relevant image when the screen size changes?
  9. Dear all, I've came across the two (main) sites http://www.alexstrohl.com/photos and http://www.madebyfinn.com/travels. But unfortunately I struggle with recreating a site-style that looks like any of these two pages. the second one seems to be a blog-site. yes/no?but the first one - i cannot replicate. if I set an overview block pointing to a gallery it allows me 30 elements only. using a gallery block gives me the chance to show all elements of the gallery but unfortunately there is only the "grid" layout available with fixed spaces for each picture. there is no automatic adaption for landscape and portrait pics. so it shows unnecessary big white spaces. any ideas from the community? thank you in advance!best regards, christian
  10. I built a cover page. Once you click on the "Enter" button on the splash page, it takes you to my /home page. When someone is navigating through the site, I want them to be able to just click the logo and go back to the /home page instead of the default splash page. What's the best way to do this? Can I just change the logo's link to go to another page on my site? Or can I somehow make visitors go to the splash page when typing in my url without designating the splash page as my homepage in the content editor? I'm currently using the "Foster" template.
