  1. What I'm trying to do is keeping the index link active while I browse through the different galleries of my indexes. Have a look here: https://www.manosch.net/work "work" link is active. As soon as I hit on one of the galleries it goes back to non-active although I'm still within "work" as here: https://www.manosch.net/kea-island-for-atlas-magazine-by-etihad Any ideas?
  2. Link to the site in question: ecopatina.com I've set up my other pages just the way I want them using the page indexes and banner images using Basil template, see the About page for example. I want the homepage to be only a responsive full-bleed image with no scrolling, like this landing page I've made. The problem with using this landing page as the home page is the style doesn't perfectly match the rest of the website and it doesn't look very good on mobile. I've seen responses to similar questions on here but they don't seem to work for me. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!
  3. Looking for a way to create a similar effect as the home page on the website below. I've been experimenting with a few different ways to achieve this and alas, no winners. My brain is coded out. Amber Ladd Home I know this is achieved using a split screen Index Gallery set to slideshow. However, I'm having issues achieving the text to the side of the slideshow on the other half of the screen as shown on the above website. I really like this look for a Home landing page and would like to execute something similar for my own website below. Any help is much appreciated!! Quiddity Design Co Password: Quiddity The landing page it directs you to after entering the password is the page that I would like to implement this design on. @Paul2009 you've been such a wiz on helping me out with some of my questions, while also educating me and it's been fantastic - any insights on how to achieve this style? Thank you!
  4. Hey All - I'm a bit stumped on this one, but I'm trying to create the feeling of automatically returning to my homepage after scrolling through any one project. Can't figure out how to have my index appear in the footer. Any help would be appreciated! This site does exactly what I'm looking for http://www.williamarnold.tv/
  5. has anyone figured out how to have two different images in the header index image space so these 'responsive' templates actually work and look decent when viewing on different platforms. Hoping to have a landscape version of my header image viewed on desktop, and a portrait version for mobile and tablets. @Paul2009 you seem to be a wizard in this area ... any suggestions?
  6. Hi all, I'm looking for a way to create a search function on a site I'm currently putting together where items (in this case properties for rent) can be indexed by the various things they offer in a similar way to how this company does it: https://www.salcombefinest.com/luxury-accommodation/ By selecting options from the list, it then shows only items that for instance have a hot tub or can sleep a certain number of people. Squarespace couldn't help and have told me it's a specialist function. Is this something anyone has any knowledge of? I thought it would be a case of adding categories and/or tags then adding some sort of search that uses those to present the required options but that doesn't appear to be the case. Thanks in advance.
  7. Hello, I'd like to have some images (or videos) as wide as the browser window (full bleed.) Something like this: https://www.stinkstudios.com/work/youmake-wetransfer I've looked into it and it seems like certain templates offer this in their index pages, Brine (according to Squarespace) is one of them (it also offers a header menu similar to the one I made in Avenue, which I'd like to keep.) I've tried every tutorial I can find and I can't seem to make a full bleed image. I've made images that are wider than the constrained width but still not full bleed. Is this even something Brine can do? Some clarification would be great and much appreciated. Thanks,O
  8. Hi is there anyone who could help with coding to reduce the white space between images on index page
  9. Hi all! Having issues with two vertical scroll bars on the Lange template. See image below: A quick fix that I've found is to add .overflow-wrapper {height: 100vh;} to custom CSS , however when I do this the Index Nav Footer does not load when scrolling to the bottom of the page. Upon inspecting the element I've found the following code that seems to be preventing the Index Nav from showing: .index-item-navigation:not(.hide) { opacity: 0; will-change: opacity;} Any chance someone could help out? I'm trying to remove the double scroll bars without affecting the Index Nav Bar. Website is www.mylescooley.com, and the issue can be seen when clicking into the photography index pages.
  10. Hi folks, I'm hoping this is a simple solution. I'm building a single page site in the Sofia template. As it's a single page, I'm wanting to get it so that when you hit a link in the navigation, it scrolls you to that block. Standard stuff. That said, as all the blocks are under 1 index - the only link currently appearing in my primary navigation is 'Home'. Is there a way to make the blocks in the index the main navigation? I.E. "Home" - "About" - "Screenshots" all appear as the main navigation?
  11. Hey @tuanphan , This is York Template Specific, I'm looking to edit the Navigation Title's within each Index-Section with CSS if possible. For example, I'd like to turn this line: "Retailer Management Service —" Into: Retailer Management Service— Obviously, the template already has preset line breakpoints, but in a perfect world, I'd like to be able to break the line so each word is isolated on its own line, and have the ability to change the colour of each line of text. Eg: keep the text white and highlight the "—" Is this possible with just CSS? Thanks
  12. Hey there, This question is specific to the 'York Template' On the main index page, I'm looking to remove the 'Index Item Text' and click-through function on an individual index section, the idea is to use the full-length banner as an image inbetween information links (above and below) rather than a link to an information page. I was hoping there would be a line of CSS that I could inject or even a suggestion on another process of uploading which might work. I'd appreciate any help on this! Thanks
  13. Hi there. Is there anyway to get an Index page to display as a Folder (drop down menu) in the navigation? I need both features rather than having to pick one over the other. Thanks!
  14. I am trying to change the padding on a div in the Rally theme to be more mobile-responsive (currently when on mobile, the large padding forces the text off the edge of the page (see first screenshot), whereas I want a centered div (see second screenshot). I've put this JS code into my code injection but to no avail; I've been reading that code injection does not work on Index pages, so am thinking that might be the issue. Any advice on what to do? Following is the code (which works fine in Chrome DevTools): <script> if (screen.width <= 640){ var box = document.getElementsByClassName('newsletter-form-wrapper newsletter-form-wrapper--layoutFloat newsletter-form-wrapper--alignCenter'); for (var i=0; i<= box.length; i++){ box[i].style.padding = "50px"; } } </script>
  15. Hey all! On my site, I have several index pages. Several of the sections of these index pages have background/banner images for the nifty parallax effect. I'm not fully satisfied with how those background/banner images are displaying at all times and I'm attempting to target them with CSS to make some adjustments. However, no matter how much digging I do, when I inspect the page code, I can't seem to find where those index page section background images live to figure out the correct CSS class to use to target them. I'm using the Mojave template and the images were uploaded in the page (the section pages making up the index page) settings under media. Can someone point me to where I can find the parallax index page background images when I'm inspecting? Or, at minimum, let me know the CSS targets I need to hit? Thank you!
  16. Built out caracoutureinvitations.com using the Jones index for home page.Client wants the galleries (currently displaying at very bottom of page) to appear at top of page. Is there a simple code to do this?
  17. Is there a way with to add a folder (and all its sub-sites) to an index page? I know it's not possible the "ordinary" way.I use the Flatiron index page and have a (not yet linked) folder with sub-sites that I would like to be shown on the index page, which is my homepage. Any ideas?I'm new to coding but got help from some people so grateful for any tips you have :)Thanks!
  18. I'm using Forte, and for the index, it automatically creates a dropdown of all the galleries as links. Rather have a dropdown for the links, I just want those links to be my nav buttons. This way, you could either click on a page in the slideshow, or you can just click one of the links in the nav bar, and they will take you to the same place. What's the best way to do this? (I.e., is it something that is built in, or will I need to add custom code) Thanks!
  19. I would like to add an outline to my text on the Index pages to help the show up a little better. I have tried using other CSS code that I have found in the forums without success. Could anyone suggest anything that would help? The site is https://coral-magnolia-rgj9.squarespace.com and the password to view is FBHSsite. The template is Fulton Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance
  20. Hi, I am having trouble hiding a page called "Beyond Surface" in an index titled "Portfolio" in my main navigation. I would like to use the banner image of that page, but not have it shown in the drop down menu under "Portfolio" in my main navigation. So, simply moving it to the 'not linked' section wont solve the issue. Please refer to my page: www.officede.co
  21. Hi, I would like to remove the index page from appearing at the bottom of a page when I scroll down whilst using the Tremont template. I have attached a link to the website to illustrate my point. https://www.slld.lighting/varde-partners-st-james-market Is there code I can use to stop this from happening? Thanks
  22. Hi Team, I want to change the element Id for the web page that is created using Square space. Currently the Id is dynamic and I'm using A/B test tool t optimize my website. When tried to make the changes, it's not getting saved as the Id is changing.
  23. I have implemented custom code to float an index section between two other sections in the Brine template. This is on a few different index pages, but specifically for the sake of this example, we'll look at the "Journal" page, and the floating section is titled "Journal Float" (creative, I know). I added a plain white banner background to give it some oomph, but am curious if there is anyway to add a border around the entire floating section to help it stand out a bit more using CSS. Website Password: weddings Page: Journal, floating section at the top titled "Journal Float" Any ideas on best way to go about this?
  24. How do I: A. - have my interior pages not function as separate interior pages but only as snap-to sections on home page? B. - have these pages/sections listed in the navigation? Currently, I am trying to have all interior pages viewed on home page only, not as additional separate interior pages. I want the nav to list all these sections and when clicked on you are scrolled down and snapped to that section only on the home page. If that makes any sense.
  25. Hello. I am using the Miller template and I have created a full bleed gallery grid block on one of the index pages. The website is: https://chinchilla-shallot.squarespace.com and the password is: Testing The top and bottom borders/spacing/padding are acceptable enough on a desktop: However, on a mobile there is too much border/spacing/padding above and below the gallery block: No matter what I try, I just can't seem to reduce it. I have tried lots of different things including all of the following gallery css variations, but nothing seems to work, or it just messes other regular image blocks up on the website. @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) { .sqs-gallery-design-grid-slide .sqs-block.gallery-block .sqs-block-gallery .sqs-block { padding: 0px !important; } } And also: @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) { .sqs-block.gallery-block { padding-top: 0px !important; padding-bottom: 0px !important; padding-left: 0px !important; padding-right: 0px !important; } .sqs-layout .sqs-row .sqs-block:first-child { padding-top: 0px !important; } .sqs-layout .sqs-row .sqs-block:last-child { padding-bottom: 0px !important; } } This is getting really frustrating that I can't seem to fix it, so I would really appreciate any help to resolve this issue. I just want the gallery blocks to be full bleed on both desktop and mobile, with no unnecessary padding, without affecting any other blocks or image blocks elsewhere on the website or on other index pages. Thank you for your help.
