I have a code widget from a third party developer that I need to make some minor style tweaks to. The widget responds to the code when on normal pages, but does not respond to changes (ie. color, padding, font) when the code block is placed on pages within an index. I need the code block to work on the index as this is the way my site is organized. Any workarounds for this? Using Pacific Template. Thanks! Camila

Using Henson template, wondering if itβs possible to have the index slideshow be a fixed landscape ratio or smaller/lower so the header isnβt on top of the gallery? Adjusted the header padding as much as possible, only seeing issue on mobile cropping in portrait. Maybe worth recreating index nav style with a different template? Super grateful for any help or ideas! scurtoworld.com Password:blep

Is there a way to consolidate the index pages, so they are just one page? I need the design, but I don't care for the two URLs. I want it to be a single URL.

Hi All, I am building a new site in 7.1 and need to hide a few pages on desktop/mobile etc as I have done many times in 7.0 using the below code. For the life of me I can figure out how to get this working in 7.1 with the new index page builder?? Before it was using #page-name as the target but I have tried several things as the target but no joy. // hide desktop banner image on mobile @media screen and (max-width: 640px) { #corporate-header {visibility: hidden !important; display: none !important; }} // hide mobile banner image on desktop @media screen and (min-width: 640px

Hi! I am using the Flatiron template and have an index "gallery" on my homepage. I am looking for a way to change the thumbnail image to a different image when you hover over it, instead of displaying the title like it currently does. This is the page for reference: https://kristen-mast-12ak.squarespace.com/ Example of what I am trying to achieve, where the image changes upon hover: https://bravorocks.myportfolio.com/projects Thanks! -Kristen

Hi all, I've searched the forum already, but all posts rearding this topic seem to have been deleted. I'd like to add a sub-header to the index item text, using a different font size and style (I am using the York template). Any ideas on how to accomplish this? (I've customised parts of my template already, but haven't found a solution on this one yet). Would really appreciate the help. :-) Thanks & best, Almut

Hi. I'm using the Flatiron template. When I open an item from the Index in a new tab, the page title and description don't show. I've read on Squarespace that if that page is clicked from Google, then also the page title and description don't show. They'll show only when the page is clicked directly from the Index. Is there any code to solve this issue? Thanks!

change background color on specific index page
Mule Horse posted a question in Coding and Customization
Does anyone know how to change the background color on a specific index page? I'm able to change the background color on the individual page using: .collection-[id] #siteWrapper { background-color:#ccc !important; However, when viewing this page as part of an index, it defaults back to the original color. This is using the Hayden template.- 11 replies
