  1. Site URL: https://renerodlauer.com Hey guys! I hope you are all doing good and having a great start in the week. I just updated my website on the weekend and am very happy with how it looks on a PC or Mac, but, I really don't like two major things on my mobile version. I switched to the Avenue template and am happy with it but, even if I select "Thumbnails per row" to 1 - it will display two rows on mobile. Additionally the size of the thumbnails will get even smaller. Is there any possibility to attack these two factors with custom css? I would love to make my mobile site index page with all the projects look as closely as on Mac/PC and it really is just the placement of the thumbnails and their size, so I hope there is a way. Thank you very much! Attached you will find a screenshot of my website on Mac/pc and a screenshot of my website on mobile. Best, RenΓ©
  2. Site URL: http://www.evieliu.com/ I tried using this code, but it doesn't work. What should I do? #block-[58dc338d5016e1b665cb576f] img{ border-radius:10%; }
  3. Site URL: https://www.assessivate.com/ I have a folder Security in my PRIMARY NAVIGATION. Within the folder I have links to Index Pages that live within NOT LINKED. When I am outside of the edit mode and I click on "Email/O365 Security" in the drop down menu, it brings me to the top of the page (Security), not to the "Email/O365 Security" section. However, if I am already on the Security page, it will bring me down to "Email/O365 Security". BUT I need this link to work while on other pages like Home or About TIA!
  4. Hey guys I am looking to build a form that users will have to fill out. Should the one field not match the input of my excel file then they will be prompted to try again. Something like "The information you have entered does not match our records." Example: 1. User is given a device with a MAC address 2. They have to register their device by filling out their personal information as well as the MAC address displayed on the box. 3. Two outcomes. If the MAC address matches my excel / google sheets file the registration is complete. If not then they are prompted to fill out the field again. Of course I understand I might need a third party service as well as html and css, but any guidance on achieving this system would be helpful.
  5. Site URL: http://www.briantong.ca/#/stockandsupply/ Hi everybody, I am trying to remove the "back to..." and "prev/next" buttons on the index section at the bottom of a project page. Screenshot attached but currently they are sticking to the top of the first projects in the index section, which I do not want. The site is on the Avenue template. Increasing the "Page Padding" value does work to a degree, but I don't want the extra page padding to be added to everywhere else. I am open to adding some padding underneath the buttons too if cannot be removed and would rather just remove them. I am not familiar with code, so unsure as to even where to add it if there are lines of code applicable to this situation. Thank you all for your time and help in advance! Also, on a side note, why does "http://www.briantong.ca/#/stockandsupply/" have the index section and "http://www.briantong.ca/stockandsupply/" does not have the index section? It would be great to not have to include the extra # in between. Thanks!
  6. Site URL: https://wilkinsontest.squarespace.com/ For testing purposes, I've created a test page. It's called "test page." When you click on it, you see the content, page title, page description, and the index below. On my Remnant page, I have linked the test page to the first image (called "test button"). Clicking the first image will also direct the user to the test page. My problem is that when I access the test page using the button, I don't see the page's title or description. I also noticed that when I access the test page via the button, the url is different. How do link to index pages and retain the page's title and description?
  7. Site URL: http://www.batsevamakes.com/photography Hey there, Trying to get the Title on the images to show only when you hover over the images. 9. Site URL: https://www.wearehkers.com/main-english Hello, is there a way to change the date format in my link from January 2020 to JAN 2020? or to 01/2020, whether it's through code injection or css? Edit: I've also reduced the column gap using css column-gap:20px but now it's not center aligned and even though column-count:auto is on it's not filling the width with more columns, what css am i missing to do that?
  10. Site URL: http://www.brndnyn.com Hello- So I've been trying to change the transition time for my index titles that go over the images. I'm currently using Avenue as my template. As it is now, the hover makes the opaque color and text appear a little too quick- I'd like to change that to a slower fade in. However, none of the other code I could find for hover transitions worked for this template. I can't seem to find the tag that effects the title. I'm also trying to get my main title and navigation links to ease out when the mouse is no longer hovering, if that's possible. Would love any help! Thanks πŸ™‚
  11. I'm using the Brine 7.0 template for my website and I would like to hide index subpages from the search results so that only the main index page is shown and site visitors are navigated to see all of the relevant content, not just the subpage. Is this possible using redirect links or search customization? I've been looking for a solution for a while now and I don't mind if it's a work-around, I just need a solution to this.
  12. Site URL: http://itstheverse.com Currently using bedford right now on my site. When a title is too long, my banner will place a "..." and shorten the title. Is there any easy CSS i can use so that my main blog banner shows the full post title? See screenshot for an example.
  13. Site URL: https://littlehorsecollective.com/ I created an index page with multiple sections. I created a hero image that i put in the Media section of one of the sections. On desktop, it looks great. but on mobile, it looks bad. So I want to hide it on mobile. Then i want to create another section and upload an image that looks good on mobile and hide it from desktop. Can anybody help me figure out what code I need to hide it on their respective devices?
  14. Site URL: https://tricycle.org/beginners/buddhism/who-was-the-buddha/ Hello! I was wondering if there's any way to do this on Squarespace: So there's links on the left hand side of the page, which is fixed and the right side of the page jumps to the section click on. All the content is within one page, or a gallery sort of thing should go back and forth as clicked on the link. Hope this is clear? Looking forward to know if anyone has a solution πŸ˜€ Kind regards and good vibes, Pawan
  15. Site URL: https://magenta-tunny-l2rb.squarespace.com Is it possible to customize the non-index pages in Tremont 7.0? I'm using the template's "shop" "contact" and "events" pages, but would like to have a background image bleed through instead of a solid color as the background. Thank you ! This site has not been published yet, so I only have a temp link to show.
  16. Site URL: https://www.mackenzieclarkphoto.com/work Hi, I'm trying to adjust the padding/margins of the links so that they align with the logo at the top left. It was automatically correct on the 'schedule' page I created, but the spacing is different on this page. Would greatly appreciate any help as I'm sure it's an easy fix!
  17. Site URL: https://www.andyshiels.com/ Hi Guys. I'm having an issue with my landing page on mobile. It's an index page that doesn't scale down the type properly. I've spoken to Squarespace and they said it's a bug with 7.1, specifically related to an issue with paragraphs and heading not scaling to mobile on their end. But it can be fixed with some custom CSS. Any ideas? Here's the page β€” www.andyshiels.com Screenshot also attached. Thanks in advance! Andy
  18. Site URL: https://thetengcompany.squarespace.com/donate Need help with hiding the index: scroll indicator for this specific page. Password for the site is 1103E.
  19. Hi, I recently forwarded an existing domain that was previously being used for a Squarespace site to a new domain and Wordpress site. The issue is the old site is still indexed by Google and the client doesn't really want the old information seen. I still have access to the old Squarespace site and I've set it to private but not sure of the best way of no-indexing the site now?. Any advice appreciated. Andy
  20. Site URL: https://saramorawetz.com Hello, I want to create custom CSS code for an Index page – effectively allowing me to have two indexes that behave differently. I want one of the indexes to remain as it is currently configured on my website: saramorawetz.com – allowing for text on roll over (and no image displayed) For the second index I would like to have images displayed with text on rollover (and image displayed at reduced opacity) Ideally I would like both indexes to link to the same pages but will duplicate them if that isn't possible. Could anyone assist me with the CSS that I would need to include to achieve this? Thanks for you help!
  21. I am using the Bryler template and have a single index page for my site that holds all of the content pages within it. I am trying to create a scenario where the first page of the index has different padding (top and bottom margins) than the rest of the pages within the same index. In other words, can I adjust the padding of a single page within an index without affecting the others? Let's say my index is named "welcome" and the first content page under that is called "home". I found this code on another thread, but cant seem to assign the page names properly... section#video .Index-page-content { padding-top: 20px; padding-bottom: 20px; } I tried using "welcome#home" and "home#welcome", but neither worked. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, as a very inexperienced coder. I'm hoping some one can help me out. Thanks so much.
  22. Site URL: https://www.erobertson.design/churchofsnails At the bottom of each of my project pages there is a link to the 'Next' project. I have added custom fonts across the site using CSS, but I can't work out how to target this small piece of text. Can anyone help? I was also wondering if it's possible to replace the word 'Next' with simple < previous and next > arrows, but I'll be happy if I can just resolve the font issue.
  23. Site URL: https://www.frangipanibeatt.com/ Hi! I've been trying to remove/hide the thumbnails that appear if you scroll to the end of each gallery. I've tried the code below, but that unfortunately removes the thumbails from my homepage/index. Thanks in advance! div#container-content>#grid { display: none; }
  24. Site URL: https://saramorawetz.com Hi, I was trying to work out if I could set up two index pages that behave differently? Or give one index two different sets of instructions? Currently I have one index page (which is the main home page) that shows text on roll-over. Ideally, I would like this to remain as the <homepage> but then, if you were to click through to <//projects> then this index would display images from each of the page it links (the linked pages would remain the same) So essentially it is one index that has no images when on the homepage and images if you click on <//projects> (if that makes sense?) Any help / advice on how to achieve this would be much appreciated! Thanks, Sara
  25. Site URL: https://marisaannmccabe.com/ Hi, I was able to get the 2 column mobile default to collapse into a single column using the code below, however the thumbnail images are off center to the right. I believe the overflow is hiding the portion of the image on the right. Is there a way to center the image within the container? // mobile single column @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { #projectThumbs .project { width: inherit; } #projectThumbs .wrapper { overflow: hidden; } } Thanks!
