  1. Site URL: https://BolesBells.com Hi there! I'm new here to Squarespace, but I'm not new to designing and managing websites. I have a new site here, with a blog, and the Search function doesn't index all my content. I have turned on and off every function of the search block with the same non-return results. New blog posts are indexed in Search, but existing content on the main Home page -- using a portfolio layout -- doesn't appear to be indexing the text in the portfolio sub-areas linked from the home page. //home/kettlebells -- is not indexed but /blog/2021/3

  5. I would like to display blog posts on a page by collection, then allow users to click into each collection where all the posts are displayed. I would like it to display similarly as attached and wasn't able to achieve the effect using Archive or Summary content blocks. I have set up blog pages for each collection, for example, Interest, Costs, FAQ, Savings, and categorised each post into the respective categories. Thank you

  8. Site URL: https://www.childsplaymag.com/issue-6 I was editing my site in Custom CSS when all of a sudden 7 of my index's banner images disappeared. All of the backgrounds that were created in CSS are appearing normally but all of the banner images I've uploaded into specific index pages are gone and are now showing only white. An index gallery also disappeared as well and is only showing white and none of my content. Please help! I have NO idea what went wrong and I've poured over my CSS code to see if there's an error but I can't seem to find anything and there are no error mes
  9. Site URL: https://griffinvothdp.com/film-photography Hey everyone! I'm hoping someone can help me as I've looked through the forum and can't seem to find an answer. Basically, I'm using avenue and have my indexes set up so that my galleries will display in rows of three, however it bugs me that when I have 4 galleries on an index page, the 4th is left aligned. I was wondering if anyone knows how I can get that 4th gallery to center align so that it's more aesthetic. Thank you :)
  10. Site URL: https://robstrucking.net Hello! Google console indicates that my URLs robstrucking.net and robs-trucking.com are not verified - yet my hosting provider - Squarespace.com insists that they are. The current rankings for my URLs are very low, 5th page - which doesn't make much sense. I've completed every support forum suggestion/documentation instruction I have found from both Squarespace and Google Console. To be honest, Squarespace support hasn't been that helpful. Clearly something isn't configured correctly. I have experience building sites and
  11. Site URL: https://audiofactory.com/portfolio Hello, I'm trying to override our template styling for a given page to reduce the number of columns in an index layout from 5 to 3. Can I do this on a page by page basis using a simple piece of CSS? I'd like to keep the site css set to 5 for another index page layout. Many thanks for any help you can offer.
  12. Site URL: https://www.friends-n-family.com/ Hello to everyone. I'm searching for a solution to make a portfolio collection links on homepage to have hover effet. At this very moment not everyone understand that these titles are clickable (Screenshot 1). In the version 7.0 there was an option to underline these links on hover, which looked amazing. So I'd love this effect, or at least a change of opacity on hover. The second question about the portfolio pages - how can I remove the bottom navigation (Screenshot 2). Thanks in advance for your expert help!

  14. Site URL: http://katepullendraws.com Hi everyone, I was wondering - it is possible to place an image or gif over the top of an index page. For example, this is my site: www.katepullendraws.com, could I overlay daisies or something that sit on top of the index images/logo etc and stay put while you scroll/don't interact with anything else on the screen? Similar to how Beci's name sits on top in her website: http://beciorpin.com/. Thanks in advance for any help you're able to give! Kate
  15. Site URL: https://www.greenconltd.com Hi All Just looking for some help with mobile specific code please. Website: www.greenconltd.com I have an index page being used as a home page using projects to categorise sectors of a business. It displays as required on desktop but there's a bit too much dead space on mobile devices. Ideally, I'd like for the index pages to display below one another as they currently are, but so that they're both visible on screen as you visit the website - either by scaling or reducing the padding I've tried targeting the blocks but I'm not h
  16. Site URL: http://www.justinmooredp.com/ Hey Guys, On my site I have a list of indexed banners that lead to different pages. My current template doesn't allow me to put any space between them, any advice on how to do it with code? Thanks!
  17. How can I reduce this huge padding on Sonora template, where the content block is floating over banner image. A y ear ago some coding was done by an outsourced coder to bring it down so it worked with another image, now with this new image, the logo needs to go up again:) Thank you! www.chrometemple.com
  18. Site URL: https://hairdiagnostics.com/medical-conditions/ The website I've linked is my present website - not squarespace made. I'm a newbie and I'm redesigning that original site. I'm trying to replicate one of the features and struggling to see how on squarespace. On the page linked there is an alphabetical index of medical conditions on the right so you can quickly jump to different conditions. It stays fixed as you go down the page. Is this, or something similar, possible on squarespace?
  19. Site URL: https://wright-wayrescue.org/ I need the text from the gallery located in my index to be responsive while on mobile. I have multiple of these galleries through the site. Ideally the orange text block would become longer or the text would become responsive. I don't want to decrease font size.
  20. Site URL: https://tomato-emu-8lxb.squarespace.com/ Hi - I am using the Forte template for an architectural portfolio and so am housing multiple project galleries in separate indexes -- using indexes to create categories (ie. residential, commercial, etc). I would like the homepage index to pull from multiple projects outside of that index -- but it seems for the homepage I have to create one index and the pages can't link outside of that index. If I do this I can not organize/cagtegorize the projects .... is there a way to tell index images to link elsewhere? I think it will make
  21. Site URL: https://mouse-hypersphere-5zyw.squarespace.com/ hello! Website: https://mouse-hypersphere-5zyw.squarespace.com/ Password: 123 I'm happy with my layout, but ideally would like to have links to each section in the header. I believe this is called an Index. 22. Site URL: https://aqua-greyhound-wbce.squarespace.com This site: chloegracepress.com is made using the Flatiron template on Squarespace 7.0. I'm trying to create the same layout for my Editorial and Commercial pages which were created with Index Pages which aren’t available in Squarespace version 7.0 The issue I am having is re-creating the gallery option when you click on each icon. So, go on my site, click either "Editorial" or "Commercial" and that leads you to all my work in grid format. When you click on one of the icons in the grid, I would like it to lead to the gallery of those image
  23. Hello! Long time listener, first time caller. I have a client who wants a single page website with navigation at the top to link to the different sections, rather than redirecting them to different pages. I was able to accomplish this with Index Pages in the past, but I can't find a suitable alternative in 7.1. To try to put it more plainly: How can I create header navigation for different sections of the same page?
  24. Site URL: http://sepia-sheep-3c87.squarespace.com I'm looking to redirect to regular page or external link, instead of the sub page. How can i change this code with Custom CSS or something: <div class="collection-nav-item" data-url-id="the-lingo"> <a href="/the-lingo" class="the-lingo"> <span class="collection-nav-item-span">The Lingo</span> </a> </div> http://sepia-sheep-3c87.squarespace.com pass: 12345
  25. Site URL: https://renerodlauer.com Hey guys! I hope you are all doing good and having a great start in the week. I just updated my website on the weekend and am very happy with how it looks on a PC or Mac, but, I really don't like two major things on my mobile version. I switched to the Avenue template and am happy with it but, even if I select "Thumbnails per row" to 1 - it will display two rows on mobile. Additionally the size of the thumbnails will get even smaller. Is there any possibility to attack these two factors with custom css? I would love to make my mobile site index page
