  3. Site URL: https://saxophone-caterpillar-j8fn.squarespace.com/test Hi! I'm trying to remove all distance between image blocks. I managed to do it on desktop. But when I use two blocks one next to the other and the mobile version moves the second block below there's a white space. .sqs-block.image-block { padding-top: 0; padding-bottom: 0; padding-left: 0; padding-right: 0 !important} Thank you!!! https://saxophone-caterpillar-j8fn.squarespace.com/test Password: test
  4. hello everyone, I am trying to create a layout similar to the screenshot below( one with colored icons) and I am struggling to add a title above the image and reduce spacing between the image and text overall. If I add a new text block, it adds so much space. A screenshot of my page is also attached ( one with two black/white icons). I would also like to move both of the icons and text a little to the center. How can I make these adjustments? Thanks for your help! Ana
  5. Site URL: https://www.or-never.com/ Hi there My image block on the home with overlay text is not displayed nice in mobile view. The text should be completely over the image or under. Now it is a mix, what does not look nice. I have no idea what css to use to fix this. Could anyone help me please? Thanks a lot*
  6. Site URL: http://www.monikafriedman.com Hi there! I have imported a custom font to my page. I've figured out how to input this via a code block, but wondering if I can also use the custom font in an image block? If you go to the homepage URL provided, you can see the custom font being used on the word "darling" in a blue quote block. I'd also love the "Hi, I'm Monika" in the top image block to be in the custom font. Is this possible? Password for site is: monika Thanks so much! Hannah
  7. Site URL: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content Hi everyone, My client has requested for several changes to be made to her website homepage & I'm not sure how to do some of the changes. And what CSS codes to key in. So hope someone will be able to help me out? I've attached the URL of my client's homepage below & the list of changes I need to make. Template used is Brine template, Squarespace 7.0 https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content (1) 1st change - please refer to the reference site https://www.marieforleo.com. You notice that the very image is a photo of Marie Forleo on the right & the large text on the left "THE WORLD NEEDS THAT SPECIAL GIFT THAT ONLY YOU"HAVE. My client would like to have the same design for her 1st image at the top which is an image block, using the same special font type & size seen on Marie Forleo's site. • How do I upload & insert this special font type & size to be used for the entire image block, to replace the default title & subtitle? (i.e. to replace the title "Hi I'm Suzan........" & the subtitle "I'm here to help you live a healthier.....") (2) 2nd change - please refer to the reference site https://bernadetteabraham.com/index.php, scroll down to the 2nd part below that shows "Hi, I'm B. Fitness & Nutrition Expert, Health Advocate....." My client would like to have the same design for her 2nd image which is also an image block, to replace the text that's currently shown (i.e. to replace the text "My passion is to empower people with cutting edge....") • How do I create the 3 different sets of font types, sizes & colors as shown in the reference site, as I understand image blocks by default only allow the title & subtitle (using font types provided by Squarespace)? • For the "Learn More" button, I'm unable to change the background color of the button under Site Styles. How do I change the background color of the button itself & position the button at the center instead? (3) 3rd change - my client's own homepage at https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content If you scroll down the page, you'll see I've integrated my client's Instagram feed and added a horizontal line just above the social media icons using the default line block. • Is there any way for me to add a heading just above the Instagram feed using CSS code (with the option of changing the font type & size), instead of just adding another text block? • As for the horizontal line, how do I increase its length (so that it will extend throughout the entire page) and size using CSS code? (4) 4th change - my client's own homepage at https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content Lastly, how can i adjust the padding on the left and right hand side of all the images seen, so that there is some amount of white space on the left & right hand side of these images? Hope someone can help me out with the above series of questions.....thanks in advance! 🙂 Stay safe, John C.
  8. Site URL: https://www.waterdragonfabrics.com/ Hi there! I am trying to create a piece of CSS code to change the font on my gallery image block (poster). The text that's in bold letters on top of the image. I have just tried piecing something together but I have not enough knowledge of CSS. Something along the lines of this: .design-layout-poster .image-title p:(color:white!important font:? size:? You can see I am not too experienced. Would appreciate your help. Also I am not sure where to take the font info from. I am imagining I can just use a font name that squarespace offers me in the site styles? Best wishes, Marco
  9. Site URL: https://fortheloversphoto.squarespace.com Hi! I've added CSS to my Image Blocks with the Caption Overlay (hover) effect to have a transparent overlay on the images. You can see the current style here: https://fortheloversphoto.squarespace.com I just realized that the hyperlinked photo is now covered by the overlay effect, so there's not clickable area on the overlay. Is there a way I can add a link to the overlay itself, with just CSS? Specifically whatever the link is for the image? I want to make sure my users will be able to click through to the linked galleries.
  10. Hey! I'm using various image blocks across a Brine template (specifically overlap, card, collage and stack). My client's copy varies in length from page to page and I'd really like to implement the image block designs more without having wonky spaces / sizing. Is there a way to customize each image block using the block's unique code in the CSS editor? Thanks so much!
  11. Hi everyone! I've been trying to add a block of color behind an image block using CSS (screenshot attached). The closest I could find was in this thread, and this was helpful, but I need help on 2 other things: If you compare my screenshot example to the example in the thread, I need help being able to move the block of color's position, so that its overlap edges only show on 2 sides (left & bottom, like in the screenshot) instead of 3 sides (like in the thread). I tried tinkering with the CSS using negative values for padding or margins, but it didn't work. I also tried adding a border to the block of color, but it puts a border around the whole area of the block, instead of just the part where the color's shaded in within the block. Could anyone help me? I'd really appreciate some CSS code that could be applied to any block as long as I use a specific block-ID (as opposed to CSS that applies to general image block types). For reference, the screenshot I've attached is from the header index of this site. Would really love some help on this! Let me know if you need any more clarifications or references. Thanks for reading!
  12. Site URL: https://www.ensignestates.com/home Hi, I'm trying to remove the ability for users to click through on the Images within a Summary Block on my home page. I have found a previous CSS insert on a previous post but this did not work. They are for display purposes only and does not have any content attached. Any advice / help would be appreciated.

  14. Site URL: https://www.lyndaloves.com/about4 Hello! I want to make these images stay inline with each other (https://www.lyndaloves.com/about4) - at the moment when you change the screen size the left hand image changes height so that it is no longer in line with the right image. I have never come across this problem before so I am really confused. I have tried adding CSS to target the images and set a fixed height for both but it is not working. I am super confused because in other areas of the site I have side by side images like this and they stay inline with each other regardless of the screen size. Why are these different? Thank you!
  15. Site URL: https://www.janagermanus.be So I used the Gallery block to insert my pictures on my website. When I look on my computer it all looks fine but when I look on my iPhone the spacing between the pictures is suddenly a lot wider. I know I probably have to use some CSS code but I don't have a clue what to use. Is there someone here who can help me? Kind regards, (the password of my site is 'testwebsite' by the way) Jana
  16. Site URL: http://orca-trout-3ltl.squarespace.com Hi - I've been reading forums and trying to input various codes to help this issue but so far no luck. There is blank space between the product information and the header on my page and when I click on design/image blocks I am able to see that there is actually a block there creating the space, but so far i've found no way of removing it. I've attached a screenshot of the space that I mean, with the block in question highlighted. I am on a demo account at the moment and am using the Ventura template for reference. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
  17. Site URL: https://www.ghostvintage.com/ I'd like to remove the padding on the image i've used inline on my home page (reducing the space between the navigation and the image). 18. Site URL: https://gold-rectangle-c29e.squarespace.com/ Hello Experts, How can I assign the "small size" style to the button in the image card blocks (on the home page). They seem to default to the large size, but I would like all the buttons to be the small size consistently across the site. Also, the button in my contact form doesn't match at all, I modified the background color, but don't know how to assign the. same style as the others. Any help will be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
  19. Site URL: https://provoicecincinnati.squarespace.com/clinical-education Hello, Wondering if someone would be willing to share the css code to remove a color image overlay on a single page in squarespace. 20. Site URL: https://victorjeffreys.squarespace.com/ Hello! I've noticed that I can no longer add a linkthrough on an image block in SS 7.1. Any workarounds for this? Check out the homepage of my site - which is a cover page and I'd like to create a link through on the image to take you to the main site. Thankyou!

  23. Site URL: https://arena-2.squarespace.com/approach Help needed. I want to make one figure out of three different overlapping images. Each image being clickable. And when one image/layer is clicked, then it comes to the front. how could I do this?
  24. Site URL: https://caroline-hossein.squarespace.com/caroline-shenaz-hossein On one of my image collages (https://caroline-hossein.squarespace.com/caroline-shenaz-hossein) I wanted to make the text BOX bigger, so I injected some code. This worked but it seems to also affect the size of the text IN the box. I'd like the text within the box to remain at 17, and only make the container bigger. The problem with the text can be seen when switching between screen sizes. With a bigger screen, the text also grows. So it looks fine in the mobile setting, but looks ridiculous in full screen. Does anyone know how i might fix this to keep the text size at a true 17? As can be seen in this other image text box https://caroline-hossein.squarespace.com/ it's not a problem. Thanks so much guys. My code below. div#page-5df3f0acb29aca197b85f292 .image-card-wrapper { width: 80% !Important; }
