  1. Site URL: https://www.adamharveyphotography.com/blog/markdown-issue Hey, I'm having an issue with a blog post that I'm looking to post where I have noticed that Markdown Blocks, Code Blocks, & Text blocks all have different default widths. Code block is easy to overcome as I can use ident to match text blocks, but my real issue is that Markdown is about half the width of Text/Code blocks & pinned to the centre. This issue isn't present for normal pages. The Template is Horizon, & appears on both my main site (developer mode enabled) & a second site (developer mode not enabled) both using the same template. The only injected code I have on the site is for Facebook messenger chat integration + a Java script for collapsible lists, which incidentally is the only reason I am needing to use Markdown block. Does anyone know of a way to change the width of markdown blocks Blogs posts? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Adam
  2. Site URL: https://weareluxus.co.uk I need help changing everything about the customer login popup in horizon. ie: I've tried to start with the sign in button and this is as far as I've got (not even sure this is close): button.Button-container-BtFfe { background-color: #e08700; border-radius: 3px; color: #000000; display: block; width: 100%; font-weight: 700; line-height: 22px; padding: 11px; margin-top: 22px; text-transform: uppercase; } Any help appreciated. TIA Andrew
  3. Hi! Having trouble finding a CSS code to work for me in the Horizon template. I don't know CSS well, but I can copy & paste and follow directions! I've successfully removed headers and footers from pages before, but I'm unsure how to remove the title of the blog post from the blog page itself. For reference, the main page of our site has these photos that are a part of a blog gallery. When you click on one, it takes you to a blog post page. This was the only way I could figure out how to achieve the effect of the photo dimming and text appearing when hovering. So I click on "I LOVE MY UPSTAIRS NEIGHBOR" and it takes me to this page (a blog post): The goal is to remove that title header on THIS PAGE ABOVE so I can achieve this look BELOW (so I can customize where the title goes, after the main photo header): Hope that isn't too confusing! Thanks!
  4. Hi all, I'm trying to have my navigation items stay on one page. Basically the same concept as the Horizon and Pacific template. I'm currently using Hunter as my template. Can this be achieved on that template? Thanks!
  5. Hi All, Im using horizon template on my site - it is a single page scrolling site and I would like to set each page height to match the viewport-height so that when a user starts scrolling it immediately goes to the next page and so that you cannot see the page below if you click a nav link - the problem is that, in the current version of the template, if you do not have either content or spacers that are larger than your current viewport then the next page down bleeds into he bottom of the page. In order to work around this you have to use spacers and decide where you draw the line - the higher viewport resolution you target the more spacers you need which means when the site is viewed on mobile you have large empty paces below the content in each section because the spacers do not disappear on mobile. If I was hand coding the site I would set the main div for each page to match the viewport height unless the content exceeds it. like so http://stanhub.com/how-to-make-div-element-100-height-of-browser-window-using-css-only/ Problem is I dont know the ID's to target in squarespace ... anyone tried this before? Thanks in advance.
  6. I have the Horizon template in use for a band site and am trying to figure out how to add a single with its own separate artwork to the music page without creating a new music page. I'd like to be able to use the player to play this track as well as the first album I added last year, and when the new album drops be able to have both albums, with their respective artwork and credits, be available on the same page. Is that doable? I can't find any actual answered questions regarding this.
  7. Hello Squarespace. What is the best templates for video portfolio? So far the portfolio templates users are photographers and designers. Some people using Montauk but i'm drawing towards Horizon. Is that possible? I like the long one page site types. Best Regards
