My photos on individual gallery pages are too large to view via scroll (ie they're all on one page) Is it possible to set up gallery pages to be swipe instead of all on one page? -

How can the name of the filtered category in a gallery be shown?So, for example I let the gallery filter the images by the category named 'Summer', I would like to see at the top of the page the name of the category like "Category: Summer". How can I realize that?

How do I change the transition speed of a slideshow gallery?

I want to speed up the fade transitions between images in a typical gallery, faster than what's available as a preset. How do I do this? I am working on designing the website (Aviator template) for our upcoming brewery and am running into a bit of a snag. One of our pages will be a gallery with pictures of the beers that we have brewed, with information about the beer in the caption. Eventually, we will be releasing a lot of different beers, to the point where I'm concerned about the gallery block getting too large (which could slow down the page, having to display all the images). Is it possible to limit the number of images that are shown at a time in a gallery block (say 9 or 12), but have multiple pages? This way our

Rollover text with grey gradient on Ishimoto gallery

I'm trying to achieve an effect like this: http://www.amysherald.com/ With text that appears on a grey gradient on rollover on the main Ishimoto gallery. I found a couple pages that describe how to do this, but on the above website the gradient covers just enough of the image to make the text easier to read. The gradient changes size depending on what text is displayed on the image. I haven't seen anyone describe how to do that, can anyone help me figure it out? Thanks! -
Though I'm primarily a novelist, I also write short stories and was thinking that a good way to encourage potential readers to visit my site would be to occasionally post short stories to my site. I'd want them to be in a separate area. Is a blog a good way to accomplish this? Some sort of gallery page? An index? The various options seem manifold, and I'd like to avoid running down a rathole to a sub-optimal solution. Very new at Squarespace, so please excuse my lack of knowledge. Hey all. I'm using Ishimoto, if that makes a difference: I'm attempting to place a Gallery Block - Grid Style - in a blank page, and the thumbnails refuse to stay on the same line. No matter how many per line I choose, and no matter what padding I choose (or what crop on the images). They always break. For example, if I choose four per line, I get this: x x x x x x x x And if I choose five per line, I get this: x x x x x x x x x x etc. I am not using any custom CSS on this site. I've ticked every box on and off and I know of (Lightbox, no Lightbox, etc.). I've adjuste

HelloMy first post here after looking through dozens of possible answers - none seem to answer 100% I want to display the title of the image above the image in the gallery. I want this to be displayed all of the time and also on mobile please. jasper gallery block with vertical and horizontal images

Hey guys, This has likely been addressed before, but I would appreciate any help! Using the gallery block i'd like to make both vertical and horizontal images the same width - so in this attached example the two vertical images would be full width (and thus taller vertically) than the rows with horizontal images . I have a small website based on the Carson template. I have altered it slightly; mostly tweaking CSS and inlining multiple galleries after each other on the index page. I have limited with the width of page with a max-width stmt on the main content. Here's the issue; images in the galleries are always loaded at 2500w. Hello, I've been trying to add code to edit the description box of my slideshow gallery block within my index page and I can't seem to round the corners properly. It seems as though there's another layer of color underneath preventing me from doing it. I would also like to edit the size of the description box while making it responsive... Any suggestions?
