  1. Hello, I'm trying to create a full width, full bleed page without nav, header and footer. I was able to hide the rest but I'm stuck on this bottom white section: How can I remove this and display another image on hover? Link to page here. TYSM!
  2. Hello, I am trying to make a grid of images (1 large on left + 3 smaller on the right). I'd also like to add text overlays and a button if possible. How do I do this in 7.0? I want to replace one of the sections on my index homepage of: https://www.drivenfilms.tv I have attached an image reference and what I have setup on a new page of my site.
  3. Hello, I am working on an update of my site and I would like to use the full width on the about page. To have 2 columns for example I don't know how to do it. Can you guys help me out?
  4. Is there anyway to adjust the Supply template so that I can have full bleed homepage images? I want something that looks like the website screenshot attached. Furthermore, how can I adjust the website margins on all the pages? Thank you.
  5. Hello, I can't seem to get the section width to change to inset, or when I do, it just seems to be the same as full. This appears to be the same for all my sections, but specifically I was trying this with the navigation section. When I switch between full and inset nothing seems to move. I'm using version 7.1 and would like to inset some sections of the web page but have some sections at full width. I may be wrong but I had a feeling this was working for me previously (although maybe on another project - not sure). Grateful for any help. Thanks Adam
  6. https://flute-alligator-dfrx.squarespace.com/ password: floral Hi! I am wanting a full bleed into the header on all pages (aka all blocks go underneath the header). I have done this successfully on the homepage using the code below, however when I try to use this code for other pages by replacing the body.homepage with the page IDs (aka collection-) it does not work on the other pages. Suggestions? Thanks! body.homepage header#header { position: absolute !important; background: transparent !important; } body.homepage .header-announcement-bar-wrapper { background: transparent !important; position: absolute !important; }
  7. Hi everyone. Really need some help please! I am using Wells 7.0 and would like my main homepage to have a full bleed image to fill the entire page. I would love it if my site title and navigation contents could be transparent so the main image can be seen behind. Does anyone know any coding for this? Here is a screenshot of my homepage. As you can see there is white space around the border. This will not be the chosen image but it is an example. I have also attached a screen shot of a website that I like. Thank you so much in advance, Ella
  8. Howdy, I'm curious what the custom code is for scaling full screen galleries in mobile scenarios? I was able to find the code for the homepage of my site. However, I'd like to apply this to subpages of the site that contain portfolio work. Do you just replace .homepage with another page name? Please help!
  9. Hi guys, Is there any way to make an Auto Layout section (for example a Testimonial or People section) full-width on Fluid Engine? Trying to target with CSS but not too sure what to target. My site is below: https://hexahedron-soybean-zdl8.squarespace.com/services#ServicesOverview Password: testing123 In the section that says Make It Stand Out I am trying to make this section full-width. Thanks, Jon
  10. Hello, I have used a custom code to make all line blocks on my site full width however i now want to make some of them standard width. How do I do both? Thanks
  11. Hi, We've got a web build where we have a gallery block slideshow sitting on the left hand side of a section. It's set to full height and width so it covers the left half of the section. It works fine on a wide browser window screen but I notice that as the browser window width decreases, the images shrink at a certain break point and doesn't 'bleed' to the bottom edge of the section anymore. Is there a way to fix this by code? Basically, we want the slideshow to be always full bleed height and width no matter the browser window size. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
  12. Hi all, I currently have 4 gallerys that are formatted for Slideshow:simple. I really like how the slideshow:simple looks on the desktop view however on mobile the photos are very small. Is there a way to increase the photo size to be similar to that of slideshow:full, while maintaining thumbnails on mobile view? Website page with the galleries can be found at https://www.wildmountaincraftworks.com/cnc-enclosure-photos Thanks! -Branden
  13. I set up a commerce page for my site using the Carson template and I cannot find the cart button while in the store. Also, once clicked into an item in the store, can it be viewed at full size rather than cropping. It is turning my horizontal prints vertical and vise versa. Do I just need to choose a commerce friendly template?
  14. Good evening everyone, As I'm building a redesign of my old website, I was wondering if someone knew a css injection to keep the logo centered in header, while the other voices of the menù (about, work, services, contact) could spread in the right and in the left as example in the picture_1. The only chance I have now to keep them horizontally centered is to have the voices just below the logo, which I don't really like. As example picture_2 Could you help me please?
  15. I've added a background video via YouTube link to a single section that I'd like to fill the entire user's screen. This mostly works on my smaller screens, such as my 13.6" MacBook Air, but if it's viewed on say a 24" iMac, the "fill screen" option does not actually fill the entire screen and huge blank area is exposed between the section and the footer. I'm not sure how to resolve. I've messed with the settings such as row count and spacing and gap, but nothing seems to do it. I see the note in the edit window which says, "Fill screen will expand the background height to fill a portion of the user’s screen." This note worries me, is a true fill screen not an option? How can I ensure that the background video/section, actually fills the entire users screen, no matter the size? Thanks! N
  16. Hi Squarespace-Folk, I am having a problem with the slide-show gallery on desktop and mobile screens (attached screenshots). 1. Desktop I would like to have the slideshow full-width inside the website grid keeping the original picture ratio 4:3. In the attached screenshot you see the green box with the outside padding and the blue box with the picture with some padding on the right and left. I was trying to remove it, but I wasn't able to find where to find it. When I found some code with 100% width injected code, the picture was cropped at the bottom. 2. Mobile On mobile screens on the other hand I have a problem with a too big padding between the picture and the picture description (blue box). And there is some additional padding (orange box) which I can't remove there. Desktop it looks fine. Could you please help me? Link: https://chihuahua-sprout-azlt.squarespace.com/ pw: helloworld Many thanks! Ondrej
  17. Hi, My client has asked me to create a video that automatically plays in the header of the index page at full browser height. I don't event know if this is possible? I know you can stretch them to full width but the height is determined by the proportion (16:9) of the source video and not your browser... I'm about to create the movie which will take a couple of days and i'm not sure if I should make something really deep (1920x4000) to cheat it, and if this is even workable. their wish is to have a movie (with back-up image) that fills the entire browser window regardless of size, the content over the top then appears as normal, before scrolling down to the rest of the page content below the fold. I've seen this on other sites but not on Squarespace. I've tried getting this to work with a normal image and that's 'quirky' as it never scales quite right to fill the screen, even selecting 'full bleed' in the background image settings. TIA
  18. Hi! I'm trying to make the content block on my site full bleed so I can make it a homepage.
  19. I'm trying to make the footer go full width to the screen left, right and bottom. I have custom CSS that I've modified so far: #footer { background: #000066; padding: 30px; margin-top: 60px; text-align: left; } But can't figure out how to make the margin or padding to the container to 0. Not sure if I have the language correct here.
  20. Hi! I used the following code to make my Bedford home page banner full-width (disclaimer: it worked perfectly just had to add it to the footer): <script> (function () { /* To make this work on the homepage only, set this variable to true. Then uncomment the .homepage selector in the CSS below. */ var homepageOnly = false; if (homepageOnly === true && !Y.one('body')) { return; } else { var elem = Y.one('.banner-thumbnail-wrapper'); var windowHeight = window.innerHeight; if (elem && elem.getComputedStyle('display') != 'none') { var content = Y.one('.desc-wrapper') || Y.one('.blog-item-wrapper'); var padding = (windowHeight - content.get('clientHeight')) / 2; elem.setStyles({ 'paddingTop' : padding, 'paddingBottom' : padding }); } else { var wrapper = Y.one('#promotedGalleryWrapper .sqs-gallery-container'); var gallery = Y.one('.sqs-featured-posts-gallery') || Y.one('#promotedGalleryWrapper .sqs-gallery'); if (gallery) { gallery.setAttribute('style', 'height:' + windowHeight + 'px !important'); } if (wrapper) { wrapper.setAttribute('style', 'height:' + windowHeight + 'px !important'); } } } })(); </script> <style> /*body.homepage*/ .sqs-featured-posts-gallery .gallery-wrapper, /*body.homepage*/ .sqs-featured-posts-gallery .slides-controls, /*body.homepage*/ .sqs-featured-posts-gallery .slides, /*body.homepage*/ .sqs-featured-posts-gallery .gallery-wrapper .posts, /*body.homepage*/ .sqs-featured-posts-gallery .gallery-wrapper .posts .post { height: 100% !important; } </style> But on mobile, the image is cropped. How do I resize the image on mobile so that it shows the full image instead of the cropped version? Screenshots attached. Looking forward to hearing from you!
  21. I am trying to make a single code block be basically the full width on only one single page, but just leaving a little bit of padding on the left and right. I'm on 7.0, with the "Pacific" template. I've looked at other similar forum posts and tried what they said, but with not much luck. The page is: https://www.childrenschoir.com/givelively-embedded-test
  22. Hi, for my new portfolio page i always want to start with the top image full bleed. However, I only get the entire page in full bleed or nothing at all. is there a way to make one image full bleed using custom CSS? Page: https://www.nickennevil.com/lifesaving-stories Block that i want full bleed: #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1663842064732_3952 Thanks
  23. Hi, When I use the Accordion Block it won't span full width across the screen and I don't see any option for changing that. Any ideas? I don't code. Is this a Squarespace issue or are accordion blocks only made to span about 50% across the screen on laptops? Thanks!
  24. Site URL: https://lily-smilodon-skf3.squarespace.com I am struggling with the slideshow gallery on my homepage. I need it to be responsive. Do I need to (a) use media queries or (b) disable the desktop version and create another one for mobile that is only visible on mobile? I could use some assistance with either recommendation. I'm using 7.1 Thank you!
  25. Site URL: http://www.carolinecatlin.com Hello! I recently redesigned my website and I'm noticing that instead of the background / content filling the screen, there is a large white bar / space to the right of the page. Does anyone know why this might be or how I can fix it? I went back through and looked at my settings and can't figure out what's wrong.
