  1. Hello, do you know how to make the google map full width without padding below it ? Thanks, Leo
  2. Hi Everyone, I'm using the Brine template and I'm trying to make the section with the map (it's a code block) on the following index page full width. https://hexagon-energy.com/hexagon-energy-projects (pw: hexagonprojects) I'm trying the following CSS, but it's not making any changes to the page: #projects-map-section .Index-page-content { padding: 0 !important; max-width: 100% !important; } .sqs-code-block { padding: 0 !important; } If anyone has time to take a look and offer a suggestion, I would appreciate it Thanks in advance!
  3. Hi everyone, I use the Maple template - part of the Brine family - and am trying to figure out how to keep my hero banner and header to the full width of the screen, while keeping the body content constrained. I've tried using the following: body { max-width: 960px; margin: 0 auto; } This does change the content to the width I want it at, but unfortunately also squishes the hero banner into the same size. Is there any way I can achieve the look I want without using spacers on the page? Thank you in advance!
  4. On this page (https://www.recordofalife.com/example), the banner photo is fullbleed & parallax. My question is, is it possible to make an image block with a single photo (not gallery images) do the same (fullbleed & parallax)? If you look farther down the page there is an image block with a single photo. I'd like to isolate this per page and not applied site wide if possible. Thank you. K.
  5. Hello everyone! As the title suggests, I need some help expanding the width of a block used for my blog page within the Gravity template. https://www.midniteromerosociety.org/articles-1 In the attached sample, as well as the above link, you can see that there are large amounts of padding on either side of the blog entries. This is unfortunate as I would like the utilize more of the page space than the template is currently allowing. I've combed the interwebz to find a solution (or code) to no avail. Hopefully, with the help of you wonderful folks, I'll be able to find the solution I need. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing your responses!
  6. I am attempting to have an image take up the entirety of a section of my homepage, then overlap it with the above section using margin-top: -20px (or something along those lines), however I am unable to determine how to make the image span the entire section to begin with. Does anyone have any ideas? Using the Banner media option doesn't achieve what I'm looking for. Edit: The image of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is just an example transparent image I found off Google in order to convey my idea. All rights reserved. Below is an image of what I've been able to accomplish so far. This method is flawed once I add my actual text into the Lorem ipsum I have in the image. Here is the code: <style> .test { padding:0px;background-color:none;position:absolute;margin-top:-150px;height:700px;width:700px;} </style> <img class="test" src="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5cb22a989b8fe830d1092c0d/t/5e12487508c15a57c853b6d8/1578256554557/transparentrock.png?format=500w">
  7. Hi All, I've added a background colour to my FooterTopBlock, however, it doesn't go all the way to the edges. Any advice on how to make this full width? https://splashandcocreative.com.au/new-home-page Thanks!
  8. hi there! wondering if there's a code i can inject to make the code block full width on this page www.simplyrepair.uk/reviews I have tried #reviews .Index-page-content { padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 50px; padding-bottom: 0px; } but that's just the page padding itself as far as i understand and the code block appears to be limited to a certain width Thank you!
  9. I'm trying to make the image on the home page full width, no padding between it and the nav either. How can I do this without using an index? I tried that -this is using the index page, and it's how I want it to look: http://russellrpc.org/home-2 But if I set that as the home page, the second section shows up in the nav as an extra item. http://russellrpc.org/ Please help, thanks!!
  10. Using a custom code for an Instagram feed on my site, however, the code block is not allowing me to make it full width. I would like the block to have no margins all around similar to the Instagram feed at https://antiochatx.com. I've tried almost everything, but no luck. Please help! Using Squarespace 7.1
  11. Hi there, I am wanting to have full bleed image and background color side by side with text on the color background side, much like the Squarespace website: https://www.squarespace.com/ and see see screenshot for area I am referring too. I am wanting the 2 sides to be separately responsive so that the type is always just on the colour background. I do not have the coding knowledge to do this. Is there anyone who can help? Thank you.
  12. I am trying to have an image on the top of each page that does not have any padding (i.e. the image bleeds right to the edge of the page. In Site Style, the minimum Site Padding size is 17px and so this is always present. How do I override the padding so that there is none. An example page where I am trying to do it is: https://justgoodjuju.com/bracelets The image at the top (under the navigation) wants to be right across the page with NO white padding at the right or left.
  13. I'm using Horizon template and trying to get my homepage index banner to display a full bleed video on computer screens and full bleed fallback image on mobile devices. In Site Styles I've been able to change the Index Overlay Padding to 22% which seems to give me full bleed video on all desktop and laptop screens. But it looks small and terrible on mobile. Is there either code that I can inject that will force full-screen for index banner site wide on all devices. Or code that would allow me to set separate Index Overlay padding values for desktop and mobile versions? Any help would be much appreciated.
  14. Is there anyway to have zero padding on a code block and make the block full page width? The block is jutting out to the right which I want left justified with zero padding, to go full page width. www.shoppersguide.com.au
  15. Does anyone know how to make the background color of this summary block on this page extend the width of the device?
  16. see image attached, in both mac Chrome & Safari the full screen video loads with 2 nasty empty spaces above + below. Is this a Squarespace "bug"...? How to solve this and make it smoothly full screen? Note: when resizing the browser manually the video snaps nicely full screen again...
  17. Hi All - we are creating a page where we are embedding an iFrame (from Tableau) and we want to - on *just* that page - remove all the formatting from the rest of the page. We have achieved this for the most part just by removing the header with <style> #header { display: none } </style> and by changing the background color to white, but we still have borders on either side of the block, even when block width is set to 100 Is there a way to remove those borders? We've tried: #page, #content { padding: 0px 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-left: 0px; max-width: 100% } Which doesn't seem to do it Thanks for any advice!
  18. Hi there! I can not for the life of me get the background-color of the Summary Block on this page to span the full width of the viewport without the text expanding too. How can I get the background-color to be fullbleed across the viewport while maintaining the current text position? I would so appreciate if you could help! Thanks!
  19. I want to make the gallery full bleed and possibly make the pictures size smaller in Foster Template. https://rhombus-paddlefish-39ss.squarespace.com/ Hope someone can advice? Thanks
  20. Riddle me this. I have managed to make my Instagram Grid Full Width with some css. But have white space below the Instagram Grid which I want removed. Any ideas? See Screenshot of annoying white strip.
  21. Hello everyone, For showing different case studies on the home of an agency website I'm trying to make in Squarespace 7.1 (but I would change to 7.0 if needed) something similar as https://es.squarespace.com/customers/idris-elba/ (image attached). Apart from the great integration with the menu items as it is full-bleed, when hovering the miniatures it shows the title of the project. I think it's the best way for showing something like that. Could be possible to make it in any way or it's too difficult? Many thanks in advance.
  22. Hello! I'm trying to insert a coding block of some maps brought in from ArcGIS in a Brine template page, using some code suggested by ArcGIS. However, when the map is brought in, it's very tiny, and does not fill the entirely of the block. When I add any specific pixel widths to the code, it extends outward to the right so a majority of the map is out of view. I'd like to get it so that it at least extends the same width as the image at the top of the page. This is what I'm using: <iframe width=”100%" height=”750” frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="https://njrgp.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/a856ba6b11df4a0bb5098b8ad1cadda3"></iframe> Sadly, my coding skills sort of peaked, then went into a coma around 1999, so I'm out of ideas trying to figure this out. Thank so much! Jason Wickersty

  24. How can we have a Full Bleed Carousel Cover Page? The regular Cover Page does not look good for vertical images, a Carousel approach would be perfect. Not sure this could be accomplished tweaking a Cover Page or creating a Page with no header, no footer and a full bleed carousel. I am using Flatiron template. Thanks! Celso.
  25. Looking to make my video on the project pages full bleed, but have no idea where to start. It looks like the poster of this thread figured it out but hasn't revealed the secret to the rest of the world. https://answers.squarespace.com/questions/145046/full-width-video-block-york.html My website here:http://chriszyu.com/facetedfurious-1/
