Hi! I would like to add a footer to the homepage of my website that is a full-width black bar with scrolling text that says "Let's work together!". I'd also like it to link out to my email. I tried adding the scrolling text functionality to the footer within the Squarespace tools but I wasn't able to change the background color without also affecting the banner on the top of the page. Is there some sort of code I can use for this? Thanks in advance! -
I'm trying to get the first section of my footer to be fixed on mobile view so the white section I want to show up on the page the entire time. Essentially I want the call to action button to always be available. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

Hi, I would like the bottom of my site to have a strip of blue colour. I am trying to achieve this by making my bottom footer section have a background colour of blue. But for some reason, even when I select the blue theme (where the background colour is set to the blue that I want), the background of that footer section remains black. See attached screenshot to see what I mean. If I do the same thing on the main page (outside of the footer), the blue background colour works. But just not in the footer for some reason? Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has custom css to change the Footer Background Image for each page. I have four different footer background images to suit different colour pages on my site. ie. red image to match red page, cream image to match cream page. Would it be possible to use sample code below but to tailor it to target the footer background image instead? That way I can add the specific image URL into each pages advance code? Hi all, Seems like this should be relatively easy fix, but I'm having some difficulty with figuring out how to make it so that the homepage body's (or any page, really) background image extends through the footer background, rendering the footer background transparent, and any text or icons etc. within the footer on the homepage (or again, any page I may decide to do this for in the future) visible. My website is jrmyprkr.earth and my builder version is 7.1 if that helps. Thank you!

Hello - I'm trying to remove my site title, nav and footer from a couple of pages of an event we're having. I've tried adding code to the advanced custom code but it does not seem to like that. Site I'm trying to remove it from is https://www.backwaterflorida.com/tcb. Any help would be appreciated.

The footer is not showing up on a new site I'm moving over to Squarespace. I am using the Harris theme and in the style setting I have checked the "Show Global Site Footer" but it is now there. In the meantime I've just added a footer in the content section but it will not show up on the posts page.

Hi! For my personal website (and future websites) I'm looking for a way to create unique footers for specific pages. This leads me to asking two questions: 01. Personal Website For my personal website it's just about changing the colors (which I managed to do for the background and the text, but not the social icons, button & divider). Does anyone know what to add to the code to change these colors as well? Site url: www.tessaveen.com/over-mij 02. For Future Websites In the future - for some upcoming client projects - I'm looking for a way on how to change the text of that specific footer. For example (see screenshot): www.tevestudios.com has a title in the footer - how can I change that text or the button text on specific pages? Thanks!

Hi, #1) I have linked my domain to my Squarespace however I can't figure out how to get my different pages to have the domain for example- my contact us page to be: www/enjoythelittlethings/contactus instead of: https://maracas-lime-hjp5.squarespace.com/contactus. 2) Also, I have linked my: Contact Us, FAQ, Terms & Conditions pages in my footer but when I click them, they take me to the editing version. have i done that incorrectly? This is what is showing up on our mobile overlay navigation. The footer bar at the bottom is covering up the green button. All of the links (including the button sliver and the footer bar links) work, you just can't read what the green button is supposed to take you to. You can't scroll the overlay nav menu, and I don't want to get rid of that footer bar, so how can I fix the spacing so that the button text can be seen? I know you can change the font size with custom CSS so this seemed like the best forum to ask if there was a custom CSS solution to solve this problem since this is not handled at all by the standard settings. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey, I've managed to change all the fonts on my website with custom code other than the navigation links i have at the bottom of my site style. I've uploaded an image to show what im trying to change. Hopefully someone can help with the right code to change this font. Thanks

I added a bit of code to remove header and footer on a landing page but lost them on all pages. When I use the "safe/configure" mode they return but no one can find the code that is causing the problem. Please help! -

Hey all, Thanks for any help you may provide. We are currently having issues aligning our text boxes in our footer. The auto-formatted email text box looks good. But across our footer we have a traditional company name, email address, and "created by." For whatever reason, we cannot get the spacing to align with the Header text and the Paragraph text in the two boxes. We want "Join the Coalition" and "BUILDco" aligned, as well as "Sign up to receive..." and "hello@..." Any advice on how to navigate this? It would be welcome. Thank you

Hi, I need assistance with page settings for wider screens. We have a basic one page website- see attached image, and client doesn't want to scroll for the footer on wider screens, changing the size from L to S or custom size to have a full view will create a white space in between page and footer. Thank you!

Hey all! I have a fixed scroll header in place, with the solid style. I would like to basically change that solid opacity on scroll, so once we've scrolled on the page the header stays fixed but the opacity of it changes as to not disrupt the content in the background. Thanks in advance!
