  1. Site URL: https://greyhound-roadrunner-mbsf.squarespace.com/ I cant figure out how to link an adobe web project or use any adobe fonts for my website. When I Google it, it shows linking a project for advanced settings and this can't be done in version 7.1. I don't see a place where I can paste the embed code into the html either. Has anyone been able to use adobe typekit with the newer version?
  2. Site URL: https://www.dbtherd.com/ I've scoured the web trying to figure out how to add a custom font to my site (*edited to add: I'm using version 7.1). I learned how to add a custom CSS to change the heading fonts, but I can't figure out how to change all of the other text fonts (namely the paragraphs, links, and blog post titles). Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
  3. Hi there! I'm having some problems with the advanced font options menu. The options are gone. Does anyone know what may have happened? Thx
  4. Site URL: https://paulshambroom.com I'm a new user on Squarespace and about start a periodic email newsletter for my fine-art photography and books. I had to choose between Mailchimp and Squarespace and went with the latter because I thought it would be simpler to integrate because my site is on Squarespace. My designer did a little coding on the site but it was basically done with basic template. Now I'm trying to compose may first email blast and I'm kind of shocked at the lack of options for basic things like sizing text and images. Even things like designating test blocks as subheadings. Short of learning how to modify these with code (don;t want to go there), does anyone have advice or thoughts on this? Do we think Squarespace is working on improving these capabilities? I'm also quite surprised by the lack of sophistication available in email list management- no sorting by date joined or name, no reassigning to other lists, etc. Thanks for listening.
  5. Are there any plans to expand the available font packs in email campaigns? I would like to be able to choose fonts individually, the current combinations are very clunky and unattractive and detract from any serious branding in my opinion. Will there be any expanded options in the future?
  6. Site URL: http://owenstrong.com I have a couple font style questions. I would like to change the wording of "older posts" and "newer posts" on a blog. From what I gather, adjusting default text labels requires a business account. However, it is the only reasons I'd upgrade this account, and it is just not worth the money. Are there ANY work arounds? If I cannot change the text itself, I would like to change the size and color of the "older posts" and "newer posts" buttons on the blog page. But, I can't figure out what font style is applied to the buttons. I have struck out in searching the help items on SS. Is this default text a header style? A paragraph style? When I go to edit my font styles on the blog, the blue highlight runs around the entire blog page rather than individual items, as in the attached screen grab. Complicating matters, I only sometimes get a preview of my changes before I save them, so I am hesitant to make adjustments as I have no idea what will be changed. In 7.0, we were able to go to site styles and highlight an item and Squarespace would automatically take you to the style so we could adjust it. Now, it's a often guessing game as to what elements will be changed if you change a style. I've run into this issue repeatedly on 7.1 and I have written to SS asking for help (they can't). Is there a guide or key somewhere that tells users what each font style is applied to? Some other way to figure it out? This one item has eaten up hours of my time. It is driving me 'round the bend! TYIA!
  7. Site URL: https://www.chapelgatewhiskey.com/experience Would anyone be able to tell me if there is a setting or an easy bit of code that can be applied sitewide that will change the image block caption font to be the same as the font on the rest of the site? Thanks!
  8. Site URL: https://hen-oarfish-gyf8.squarespace.com/ (Posting this here in hopes of more luck receiving an answer) Hey, So I'm new to Squarespace, and currently working on a site using the Merida template. I've been having trouble changing the 'locally set fonts' through edit mode. I can't seem to find much information on how to change it, and was wondering if anyone could guide me? Any help would be very much appreciated!
  9. Site URL: https://www.travisseifman.me/research On my site, I use a lot of macrons (vowels with a line over them) in order to spell words like Māori, Sāmoa, Ryūkyū, and sо̄rо̄bun correctly. I've been playing around with some of the basic fonts (Orpheus, Kepler, Cormorant, etc.) that are directly available in the SquareSpace editor, but I can't seem to figure out which one of them will make these appear properly, across a variety of devices/browsers. From Googling around, I saw some complicated-sounding solutions involving Adobe TypeKit and stuff like that, but I suspect it'll be a lot easier to do with the basic fonts already available. The only question is, which one will work for this? I've tried quite a few of them, but I can't seem to find one that works. Thanks.
  10. Site URL: http://diegotorgo.com Hi there! I'm looking for a way to use a custom font in my portfolio list on the home page. How can I do it through CSS?
  11. Site URL: https://www.mattportch.com Hi, Is there any way to change the font AND size of these elements at checkout? (The title of the product and "Checkout")
  12. Site URL: https://www.mattportch.com Hi, I don't suppose all of the checkout text is editable to match my own website font? Or do they have to be this system font? (currently looks like ariel or helvetica)
  13. Site URL: https://tulip-shallot-l5l7.squarespace.com/ Hi all, Please see the attached two screenshots, so for some reason the text is dissapearing from my newsletter block 'sign up to recieve....' Anyone able to help with why this might be happening, wondering if it could be a bit of other code that is interferring with it? https://tulip-shallot-l5l7.squarespace.com/ password: f7 Thanks!
  14. Site URL: https://kristelandnic.com/ Hey just reaching out to see if anyone can help with modifying the mobile font sizes on my site. I am using the following CSS modification to the mobile font sizes below but the font-size tag isnt having any effect. Adjusting line-height seems to work just fine. Appreciate any help in advance! @media screen and (max-width:767px) { h1 { font-size: 40px; line-height: 1.3384; } h2 { font-size: 40px; line-height: 1.3384; } h3 { font-size: 50px; line-height: 1.3384; } h4 { font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; } }
  15. hello! I've been using font face to add custom fonts to my site and I ran into a problem. all of my custom fonts work and transferred just fine on mobile EXCEPT the title of the blog. help- I tried this code but it didn't work (idk if its even right, but its the closest to an answer I could find) a.Mobile-overlay-folder-item { font-family: 'Mantra' !important; }
  16. Site URL: https://kristelandnic.com/ PW: 94591 I was able to modify fonts on mobile using the following code. But when I logged back it looks like there is some weirdness going on. @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { body[data-dynamic-font-sizing-enabled="false"] h2 { font-size: 40px; line-height: 1.3384; } body[data-dynamic-font-sizing-enabled="false"] h3 { font-size: 50px; line-height: 1.3384; } body[data-dynamic-font-sizing-enabled="false"] h4 { font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; } } Desktop fonts were reading the mobile font sizes. So I deleted the code above and now mobile fonts are reading as desktop fonts. Im not sure if using the above code is the best way of modifying the mobile font sizes so it may have cause some kinda issue. If you refresh the mobile page, you can quickly see the correct font sizing before it jumps back to desktop font sizes. I also seeing this on the mobile text sections which is weird: @media screen and (max-width: 1943px) and (min-width: 0) and (orientation: portrait) site.css?&f…es=false:12 body[data-dynamic-font-sizing-enabled="true"] h3 { font-size: calc(5.55vh + 1rem); Any help is much appreciated!
  17. Site URL: https://guytp.squarespace.com/ Hi all, I'm in need of some help with the mobile site of my website - https://guytp.squarespace.com/. I've just finished creating the desktop site but the website doesn't transfer well to the mobile site. 2 things I need help with: 1. The title 'Professional Freelance Writer' has a reduced line height on the desktop version (to create good spacing), however I need to raise the line height on the mobile site for it to look right (I believe this should be quite simple but coding is not my speciality). 2. The drawn images on the homepage of the paper, quill, and books are spaced unusually on the mobile site. I would either need to reduce the size of the images or edit the spacing of the images, any ideas? (I'm unsure how to do either of these without changing the desktop site). Your help would be much appreciated, as I'm so close to having this site finished! Thanks Guy

  19. Site URL: https://www.studioheavenly.com Hello, I am having a problem with the CTA buttons. Different fonts are showing on mobile version and screen version. When I look at in a mobile version mode on my computer the font looks great, but it is different when I actually look at my website on my own phone. I tried everything, really looked closely at my custom css but there is nothing. The font I want is commuters sans. Thank you for looking into it.
  20. Site URL: https://crate.media/shows/launch-guide/1-apps I've updated the site design with a custom font via CSS. Seems to be working on the majority of areas of the site. However, the normal body/p font in bold is not generating properly on mobile views. Desktop (correct): Mobile (incorrect): As you can see it's defaulting to some generic serif font on the mobile version. I've tried assigning a specific bold font in the code below. Removing that, it looks like the desktop view automatically formats my font in its own version of bold, which is what I would like. But it isn't automatically working for mobile, which is why I tried to assign a specific "p strong" font. I also had to specify the custom font for the image caption blocks, as that was not updating automatically. Here's the code I inputted to use the new font: // HELVETICA NEUE THIN // @font-face { font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Thin'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d4b0cab3d651f0001b888d0/t/5e95d4d628d1592862d98574/1586877654407/HelveticaNeue+Thin.ttf'); } // ASSIGN H.N. THIN // p {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Thin'; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } // HELVETICA NEUE BOLD // @font-face { font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d4b0cab3d651f0001b888d0/t/5e95d4e7d41df27156da9138/1586877671732/HelveticaNeueMed.ttf'); } // ASSIGN H.N. BOLD // p strong {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold'; letter-spacing: -0.05em; } @media screen and (max-width: 765px) { p strong {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold'; letter-spacing: -0.05em; } } // IMAGE CAPTION FONT // .sqs-block-image .image-caption p {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Thin'; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } .image-title-wrapper {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Thin' !important; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } .image-subtitle-wrapper p {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Thin' !important; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } .image-subtitle-wrapper a {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Thin' !important; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } // IMAGE CAPTION FONT BOLD // .sqs-block-image .image-caption p strong {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold'; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } .image-title-wrapper strong {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold' !important; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } .image-subtitle-wrapper p strong {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold' !important; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } .image-subtitle-wrapper a strong {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold' !important; letter-spacing: 0.013em; }
  21. Site URL: https://maria-villarreal-s2wp.squarespace.com/config/design/styles I'm trying to change the font on my index content gallery. Im using te Margot template. I already added my custom fonts and assigned them to H1, H2,H3 and budy, even the header but I don't know the code to do it for the index content gallery or the footer. Please help.
  22. Site URL: https://kristelandnic.com/ Site PW: 94591 Desktop fonts are fine. I feel like I have all the right code/CSS set up but the custom font is only working for P and not H1, H2, H3 on mobile. Any help is much appreciated! @font-face { @font-family: 'NFCarta-Thin'; src: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e6861182475ee58a83c927b/t/5e77d03fe8ff44374c22be4f/1584910400105/NFCarta-Thin.otf), url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e6861182475ee58a83c927b/t/5e8b9315a3c03356e0608ee0/1586205461101/NFCarta-Thin.ttf), url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e6861182475ee58a83c927b/t/5e77d01de08d1b666d12a4f3/1584910365731/NFCarta-Thin.woff), url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e6861182475ee58a83c927b/t/5e77d039d07f4670779ea5ce/1584910393971/NFCarta-Thin.woff2); } @font-face { font-family: 'apercu-webfont'; src: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e6861182475ee58a83c927b/t/5e8aa6775803e9387ff9f363/1586144887674/apercu-webfont.ttf), url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e6861182475ee58a83c927b/t/5e8aa67fa75db676523aa9bd/1586144895568/apercu-webfont.woff), url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e6861182475ee58a83c927b/t/5e8aa686776c472b7268c0ba/1586144902916/apercu-webfont.woff2); } .mobile-bar-wrapper * { font-family: 'NFCarta-Thiin'; font-size: 24px; } h1 { font-family: 'NFCarta-Thin'; font-size: 120px; } h2 { font-family: 'NFCarta-Thin'; font-size: 175px; } p { font-family: 'apercu-webfont'; font-size: 12px; }
  23. Site URL: https://www.isolatedtogetherpodcast.org/ I've been spinning my wheels on this for hours. I've successfully loaded a custom font and it's working for most text boxes. But I can't find the code to alter the header font. I'm using the Paloma template, with Squarespace version 7.1 (though squarespace doesn't seem to recognize the template for some reason). I also can't edit the summary block of my episodes on the homepage. They're arranged in a carousel, and the font is correct on the actual episode page, but it reverts to the default font for the summary block. So two things: How do I change the header font; and How do I change the font in the summary block/carousel? Here are some of the codes i've tried that haven't worked: nav {font-family: 'TIMES';} header {font-family: 'TIMES';} header-nav-item {font-family: 'TIMES';} header-element {font-family: 'TIMES';} header-nav {font-family: 'TIMES';} header-nav-list {font-family: 'TIMES';} header-menu-nav-item {font-family: 'TIMES';} container header-menu-nav-item {font-family: 'TIMES';} container header {font-family: 'TIMES';} header-menu {font-family: 'TIMES';} header-menu--folder-list {font-family: 'TIMES';} sqs-block-content {font-family: 'TIMES';} sqs-block {font-family: 'TIMES';} #page-header nav ul a {font-family: 'TIMES' !important;} .desc-wrapper { font-family:'TIMES'; } #mainNavigation a { font-family: 'TIMES'; } #headerNav nav a { font-family: 'TIMES' !important;} .desc-wrapper p > strong { font-family: 'TIMES' !important;} None of these have worked! Please help! Thanks so much.
  24. Site URL: https://www.nycustompt.com/ Hi @tuanphan I've been having some troubles with the CSS Custom Fonts. I can't see the fonts properly in all browsers / devices. I have noticed that normally H1, H2, H3 are working fine but I can't see the Klavika font on body text or blogs. Please find in the lines below the CSS inserted: All fonts have been uploaded as .ttf, .otf, .woff, and .woff2. h1 { font-family: 'KLAVIKA BOLD', 'futura-pt', 'sans-serif', !important; font-size:40px; } h2 { font-family: 'KLAVIKA MEDIUM', 'futura-pt', 'sans-serif', !important; font-size: 20px; } h3 { font-family: 'KLAVIKA MEDIUM', 'futura-pt', 'sans-serif', !important; font-size: 15px; } body { font-family: 'KLAVIKA', 'futura-pt', 'sans-serif'; font-size:20px; } nav a { font-family: 'KLAVIKA', 'futura-pt', 'sans-serif'; } .desc-wrapper p > strong { font-family: 'KLAVIKA MEDIUM', 'futura-pt', 'sans-serif'; } .BlogList-item-title, { font-family: 'KLAVIKA', 'futura-pt', 'sans-serif', !important; font-size: 25px; } .BlogItem-title { font-family: 'KLAVIKA BOLD', 'futura-pt', 'sans-serif', !important; font-size: 40px; } .Header-nav--primary .Header-nav-item { font-family: 'KLAVIKA MEDIUM'; } .Mobile-overlay-nav--primary .Mobile-overlay-nav-item { font-family: 'KLAVIKA MEDIUM' !important; } .BlogList-item-excerpt { font-family: 'KLAVIKA', 'futura-pt', 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14px; color: #616161; } .BlogList-item-readmore { font-family: 'KLAVIKA', 'futura-pt', 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14px; letter-spacing: 0.19em; color: #616161; } .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-read-more-link { font-family: 'KLAVIKA', 'futura-pt', 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14px; letter-spacing: 0.1em; color: #616161; } Thanks a Million!
  25. Site URL: https://www.nicolanguages.com/products-special Hello, Forum! I am using a few code boxes to customize with color, etc. I am finding that the text in my text boxes are bolding in a few places. For example, there are two sections in the page talking about the same product, one offered in English and in Spanish. I want most of the text NOT in bold, but in the second section talking about the Spanish product, the text is defaulting to bold. It shows up correctly when I'm editing, but then defaults to bold when I check the published page. Anyone else experienced this? Thanks!
