  1. Site URL: https://www.karitonsorbetes.com/ Hello all! I'm still fairly new to creating Squarespace website and I can't seem to get my custom fonts working! I've read and watched so many blogs about custom fonts on Squarespace and it still won't show up on desktop or on mobile...any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Website is https://www.karitonsorbetes.com/ any help would be amazing!
  2. Hello! Doing speed tests to my website I've observed that it takes so many time to load fonts that I don't actually use. I tired to remove them manually but I don't manage to do so. Another way is to use this tool https://cheers-studios.com/squarespace-font-optimizer but I can't use it since just circle members have access to the json style pack file. Anyone knows another way I can change all the used fonts on my website for just one? Thanks in advance,
  3. Site URL: https://gar-dinosaur-9s8c.squarespace.com/config/design Hi all I've looked for the resolution for this and nothing worked. I managed to upload and update the font for the headings, but the logo(page title) and sections are still in the other font. Is there a custom css code I can place to change the type in the whole website? or at least the logo/sections? Many thanks in advance!
  4. Site URL: https://www.thebreannaedit.com/ Hello! My site looks great on desktop, but on mobile my custom font 'Silk Serif' isn't loading. It isn't an adobe font or google font, but I have the .woff, .woff2 and .ttf files. Could anyone help me with why? It should be loading, my code looks like this: //fonts// //SILK SERIF LIGHT// @font-face{ font-family: 'Silk Serif'; src: url('SilkSerif-Light.woff2') format('woff2'), url('SilkSerif-Light.woff') format('woff'), url('SilkSerif-Light.ttf') format('ttf'); font-weight: 300; font-style: normal; } //SILK SERIF REGULAR// @font-face{ font-family: 'Silk Serif'; src: url('SilkSerif-Regular.woff2') format('woff2'), url('SilkSerif-Regular.woff') format('woff'), url('SilkSerif-Regular.ttf') format('ttf'); font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; } //SILK SERIF MEDIUM// @font-face { font-family: 'Silk Serif'; src: url('SilkSerif-Medium.woff2') format('woff2'), url('SilkSerif-Medium.woff') format('woff'), url('SilkSerif-Medium.ttf') format('ttf'); font-weight: 500; font-style: normal; } //****SWEET SANS PRO****// //Sweet Sans Light// @font-face{ font-family: sweet-sans-pro, sans-serif; font-weight: 500; font-style: normal; } //Sweet Sans Light Italic// @font-face{ font-family: sweet-sans-pro, sans-serif; font-weight: 500; font-style: italic; } //Sweet Sans Regular// @font-face{ font-family: sweet-sans-pro, sans-serif; font-weight: 600; font-style: normal; } //Sweet Sans Medium// @font-face{ font-family: sweet-sans-pro, sans-serif; font-weight: 700; font-style: normal; } //Sweet Sans Bold// @font-face{ font-family: sweet-sans-pro, sans-serif; font-weight: 800; font-style: normal; } //***MAJOR FONT CLASSES***// h1{ font-family: 'Silk Serif', 'Palatino Linotype', 'Book Antiqua', serif; font-style: normal; font-weight: 300; font-size: 48px; line-height: 1.1; /* or 48px */ letter-spacing: -0.05em; color: #1B1B1B; } h2{ font-family: 'Silk Serif', 'Palatino Linotype', 'Book Antiqua', serif; font-weight: 300; font-size: 36px; line-height: 1.2; /* or 40px */ letter-spacing: -0.05em; color: #1B1B1B; } h3{ font-family: 'Silk Serif', 'Palatino Linotype', 'Book Antiqua', serif; font-weight: 500; font-size: 24px; line-height: 1.2; /* or 40px */ letter-spacing: -0.05em; color: #E7AEA3; } h4{ font-family: sweet-sans-pro; font-weight: 700; font-size: 14px; letter-spacing: 0.055em; text-transform: uppercase; } Is this a common issue with custom fonts? Thank you!
  5. This font has disappeared on my website: Miller Banner and when I go to select another font, the one I click on is not displaying correctly. Has anyone else experienced this?
  6. Site URL: https://www.mela.co.nz Is there a way to universally override Squarespace's default fonts in a Brine template? I've created my first Squarespace site using my client's custom webfonts, loaded via the CSS panel. Once loaded, I've assigned these to p, H1, H2, H3, H4 in the CSS panel. But when browsing the site I still see Squarespace's default fonts here & there - like on mobile when I do a search, or when a page is not found. It's getting ridiculous adding CSS snippets to target every individual instance of the wrong (default) font. Can I assign my own overriding default font?
  7. I'm not seeing a place to set the Monospace font in the style editor. I see the Meta font. Am I missing something?
  8. Hi all, I had almost finished my site (trial period) and then lots of the settings changed without me doing it. The website width, some font sizes/styles (some fonts even bolded), format of photos, etc. My whole website went from unified, looking beautiful to every page now having a glitch and looking differently to how I had it. I haven't touched anything in the backend. Was just adding text content and photos today. If anyone has any ideas of what's going on please let me know. I'm totally confused and would love it sorted as its messed up each page of my website.

  10. Site URL: http://www.megaclean.org So I have followed this tutorial to change to a custom font. Unfortunately I can't use font squirrel to convert the font as the font company does not allow it. I have a web specific font that I have uploaded to the Squarespace server. But the font is loading. 13. Hi all. Please can somebody help me? I want two different font styles on my image overlay... I've looked everywhere for custom css but can't find a solution. I'm looking to have a client name large and then project name smaller underneath in another colour. I've currently got // to separate these two things as it's the only way I can think of. Your help would be massively appreciated! Thanks in advance, Beth
  14. Hi, I've been trying to speed up my website by removing all of the fonts and focusing on two: Open Sans and PT Seriff. I've gone through every heading, button, subtitle possible in site styles to know that these are the only fonts being used. However, when using Page Speed tools I can see that my website is being massively slowed down by loading both Adobe typekit and google fonts. Both Open Sans and PT Seriff are available in google fonts, there is no reason to load Adobe. Is it doing this because these fonts are available in both kits? I also ran an experiment where I used Google-only fonts, but my website was still loading typekit for no reason. I really would like some help with this issue, because its really hurting my SEO optimization. Thanks!
  15. Site URL: https://greyhound-roadrunner-mbsf.squarespace.com/ I cant figure out how to link an adobe web project or use any adobe fonts for my website. When I Google it, it shows linking a project for advanced settings and this can't be done in version 7.1. I don't see a place where I can paste the embed code into the html either. Has anyone been able to use adobe typekit with the newer version?
  16. In COMMERCE --> CUSTOMER NOTIFICATIONS, how do we change the fonts in the various automated emails (order confirmation, order shipped, order refunded; customer account emails; etc.) and the font for the order summary & shipping info? The default fonts do not match the website and are not on-brand. Please let me know how to change the fonts so that the match the fonts on the website. Thank you!!
  17. Site URL: https://www.dbtherd.com/ I've scoured the web trying to figure out how to add a custom font to my site (*edited to add: I'm using version 7.1). I learned how to add a custom CSS to change the heading fonts, but I can't figure out how to change all of the other text fonts (namely the paragraphs, links, and blog post titles). Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
  18. Hi there! I'm having some problems with the advanced font options menu. The options are gone. Does anyone know what may have happened? Thx
  19. Site URL: https://paulshambroom.com I'm a new user on Squarespace and about start a periodic email newsletter for my fine-art photography and books. I had to choose between Mailchimp and Squarespace and went with the latter because I thought it would be simpler to integrate because my site is on Squarespace. My designer did a little coding on the site but it was basically done with basic template. Now I'm trying to compose may first email blast and I'm kind of shocked at the lack of options for basic things like sizing text and images. Even things like designating test blocks as subheadings. Short of learning how to modify these with code (don;t want to go there), does anyone have advice or thoughts on this? Do we think Squarespace is working on improving these capabilities? I'm also quite surprised by the lack of sophistication available in email list management- no sorting by date joined or name, no reassigning to other lists, etc. Thanks for listening.
  20. Are there any plans to expand the available font packs in email campaigns? I would like to be able to choose fonts individually, the current combinations are very clunky and unattractive and detract from any serious branding in my opinion. Will there be any expanded options in the future?
  21. Site URL: http://owenstrong.com I have a couple font style questions. I would like to change the wording of "older posts" and "newer posts" on a blog. From what I gather, adjusting default text labels requires a business account. However, it is the only reasons I'd upgrade this account, and it is just not worth the money. Are there ANY work arounds? If I cannot change the text itself, I would like to change the size and color of the "older posts" and "newer posts" buttons on the blog page. But, I can't figure out what font style is applied to the buttons. I have struck out in searching the help items on SS. Is this default text a header style? A paragraph style? When I go to edit my font styles on the blog, the blue highlight runs around the entire blog page rather than individual items, as in the attached screen grab. Complicating matters, I only sometimes get a preview of my changes before I save them, so I am hesitant to make adjustments as I have no idea what will be changed. In 7.0, we were able to go to site styles and highlight an item and Squarespace would automatically take you to the style so we could adjust it. Now, it's a often guessing game as to what elements will be changed if you change a style. I've run into this issue repeatedly on 7.1 and I have written to SS asking for help (they can't). Is there a guide or key somewhere that tells users what each font style is applied to? Some other way to figure it out? This one item has eaten up hours of my time. It is driving me 'round the bend! TYIA!
  22. Site URL: https://www.chapelgatewhiskey.com/experience Would anyone be able to tell me if there is a setting or an easy bit of code that can be applied sitewide that will change the image block caption font to be the same as the font on the rest of the site? Thanks!
  23. Site URL: https://hen-oarfish-gyf8.squarespace.com/ (Posting this here in hopes of more luck receiving an answer) Hey, So I'm new to Squarespace, and currently working on a site using the Merida template. I've been having trouble changing the 'locally set fonts' through edit mode. I can't seem to find much information on how to change it, and was wondering if anyone could guide me? Any help would be very much appreciated!
  24. Site URL: https://www.travisseifman.me/research On my site, I use a lot of macrons (vowels with a line over them) in order to spell words like Māori, Sāmoa, Ryūkyū, and sо̄rо̄bun correctly. I've been playing around with some of the basic fonts (Orpheus, Kepler, Cormorant, etc.) that are directly available in the SquareSpace editor, but I can't seem to figure out which one of them will make these appear properly, across a variety of devices/browsers. From Googling around, I saw some complicated-sounding solutions involving Adobe TypeKit and stuff like that, but I suspect it'll be a lot easier to do with the basic fonts already available. The only question is, which one will work for this? I've tried quite a few of them, but I can't seem to find one that works. Thanks.
  25. Site URL: http://diegotorgo.com Hi there! I'm looking for a way to use a custom font in my portfolio list on the home page. How can I do it through CSS?
