  1. Hey Guys! I've already used custom CSS to adjust the mobile fonts on my site, however, I can't figure out how to adjust the size of the product titles in mobile view. I'm using the Jaunt template. Any help would be great...thanks!
  2. Hello, I would like to code a custom font into the header of the mobile view of my website. I have done so successfully for the regular view but it defaults into standard font when i switch to mobile view. Any ideas? This is what I have for the desktop version and it works great: @font-face { font-family: 'retro_computer_personal_use'; src: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5c253509f8370a48f3940027/t/5e16848141d1895d960adb21/1578534017904/retro_computer_personal_use.ttf), } .Header-branding { font-family: retro_computer_personal_use, sans-serif !important; }
  3. Is there a way or some custom css code that'll allow me to change the font spacing of the Shopping Cart font in Mobile view for the Rally template? For some reason, in Mobile view, the font gets really spaced out and causes the information to look strange and continue pass the edge of the screen when an item is in the cart. The same problem occurs in the shop's store front with the "categories" drop down menu and on the site's contact form. Everything looks normal in tablet and desktop mode. 4. I am new to squarespace but not new to designing websites, I have been doing it for quite a while now. On this first experience I am finding my way to adjust to its limitations and understand how this works. However, now I have a problem that I am not sure how to solve: The headlines of my site are sometimes not rendering using the correct font: Neue Hass Grotesk. The only way I can fix the issue is going to the config mode/design/fonts, when I am in that section of the config mode the site fixes the issue, however if I move away from that mode there is a big chance it won't load the correct font and will default on the next one. Any one had an issue like this before? Thanks!
  5. Hi all, sorry to be a bother. Is it possible for someone to provide the custom css code that I could use to ensure my website navigation bar starts with a capital letter. On the mobile navigation it's fine. Template: ethan. Website link: www.triggersanj.com Thanks in advance.
  6. I'm using Bedford and looking to change both the title (bold) and text (no formatting) that appear in a banner. I'd like to use CSS to do this, because I'm using custom fonts that I uploaded, and they don't appear in the site styles dropdown lists. Thanks in advance! www.middle.st
  7. Hi I'm trying to change the MOBILE version of the font size on product names in my store but can't find a setting for this for mobile or desktop. The product names are really big in mobile and splitting across the screen at weird places. I'm a novice so hoping this doesn't require code writing? Thanks for anyone who can help.
  8. Is it possible to change the X and Y axis label font within a chart block in the Avenue template? I successfully changed the caption using "chart-block-caption" in my custom CSS but can't seem to find the right div controlling the labels.
  9. Hi there, Hoping someone has insight on the coding to change the title font style that is defaulted on image overlaps. I can't figure out where to change the font style in the Brine template. But I do have custom fonts uploaded, that I would rather work with.
  10. I want my summary block title and metadata to be the same as what it looks like on the blog page (screenshot attached). Currently I can't figure out the correct code to change the 'large text' (which it is set in the summary block) to my imported font, like I have my headings eg, h1 {font-family: 'Avenir Medium';} h2 {font-family: 'Avenir Medium';}. Also, the meta data text I would like to be black instead of grey. If you could help me make it look like the photo I have attached it would be great. Site is modernlifeau.com and the password is 12345
  11. Hi! I'm trying to change the font for the gallery image captions in the Avenue template. Right now they are set to the body style; I'd like to use the Heading 3 style instead. Can anyone help? Thank you!
  12. Hi there, I would like to use a custom font style on specific buttons and headers. I have input the css for the font location but need to know next steps. Not sure of the class names for buttons or two headers (see image) See CSS below: //ADDING myfriend FONT// @font-face { font-family: 'myfriend'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5dbb8e5c55a40158cc4627af/t/5e0e9aead2e16f330f9816b1/1578015466865/myfriend.ttf'); }
  13. Hi, I read a lot of the mobile font questions but none of the code provided worked for my site. Template - Foster www.sandwichceramic.com I have assigned the custom font Avenir with "fontface" and it is working for desktop and tablet view, but the mobile view is still the default font. @tuanphan Would be grateful for the correct CSS to make the main Title of the site Avenir. Thank you
  14. Hello! So I have a font that I made on my own that I want to integrate to my website. I've managed to go into the CSS and make it so almost everything uses the font. However, I can't seem to figure out why the font won't apply to my gallery titles or my shop item names (attached below where it says "music, books, comics, event posters, etc."). I'm currently using a font that is similar to mine but ideally I'd like everything on my site to be my font. Side note, I am not very familiar with coding as I've just been copy/pasting codes I've found online but I will do my best to comprehend!
  15. Hi all. I'm a CSS newbie, but am starting to get the hang of it. Have made a few customizations that have worked thus far to both the standard and mobile site. I don't know if any of those customizations are overriding what I'm trying to do with the mobile menu font size, which is too big and I just want to bring it down a notch. Here is the code that I found that folks were saying worked (not working for me). I've tried adding the '!important;' tag after font-size as well and had no luck with that. And here is all the code I have already on my site, in case it's relevant. All of this code works properly: I'm still building the site so it's not public yet. Again, I just want to change the SIZE of the mobile menu font so it's slightly smaller. Thank you!
  16. I wanted to know how to resize a specific text block ID. The situation at hand that I used the following code to make the text size on the mobile version looks good...but I have a counter of employees on my main homepage with a '+' sign next to the counter code block (separate) which makes the '+' sign fade in the counter on the mobile version. What I want is a code that I can write in the CSS with the '+' sign block ID for the mobile version only. Notice: Check the attached images for comparison before & after applying the mobile text size code. Used Code: @media only screen and (min-width: 1025px) { #main-navigation { background: rgba(101, 89, 60, 0.9); width:15%; } } #main-navigation { background: rgba(101, 89, 60, 0.9) } @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) { body { font-size: 16px; } h1 { font-size: 35px; } h2 { font-size: 22px; } h3 { font-size: 20px; } blockquote { font-size: 16px !important; } }
  17. Hi. The color of the text in the dropdown is white. The form has an image background. I've checked the Design > Site Style settings and didn't have success. I've tried adding custom CSS, but wasn't able to correctly change the color. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  18. I'm trying to get my page to load faster on mobile. Is there any way to prevent Typekit from trying to load the themes default font? I only want to use a font (Montserrat), in the theme I use (Five) Proxima Nova is standard. Even though I've changed the Font to Montserrat everywhere, Typekit is still loaded according to Google PageSpeed Insight. Any suggestion for a solution to this?
  19. I have successfully uploaded Avenir as the font to be used on my website and have changed h1, h2, h3 and h4 to this font. However, I can't figure out the code to change the font of blog post titles, buttons and blog post titles in the summary blocks. I am using the template Merida. My site URL (for now) is https://goose-alpaca-n3cy.squarespace.com/ Thank you! 🙂
  20. I would like to make 'ALL' in a drop down to bold font. How can I change it?
  21. I have a custom font that I would like to use on a Cover page (which may be impossible based on the warning on the CSS page about not being compatible on Cover pages), but I think a workaround would possibly be to get the font into the main font menu and then it would be accessible from there since the font on the cover page is editable in the Styles editor. This is the current CSS I've executed to get the font into the system, so now I just need to figure out how to get it into the font menu. All the current tutorials walk through how to make the custom font one of the default fonts (Normal, Heading 1, 2, 3, etc.), but I want to actually get it into the massive font menu so that I can access it from there: //ADDING CUSTOM FONT// @font-face { font-family: 'DEDRIEKLEUR'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5c378de396e76f747052eb57/t/5dfb9a4e848e0e4f64431318/1576770127164/DeDriekleur.otf'); } Thanks.

  23. Hi!! I was wondering how I can target the header overlay text to be a different coloured font on one of my pages. I also want to get rid of the shadow behind the text but only for this page. The section is the "What We Do" index page of my homepage. I want the font to be #hsl(195, 7%, 23%). Here is the URL: https://penguin-roadrunner-4c8m.squarespace.com/ and password: Skyfall77
  24. I'm trying to drop the font size of the gallery titles in 7.1. They are huge. I am using the Utica template. Please help. Thanks so much!
