  1. I am using the OM template. I have added a checkbox to a form. The description field is too small. See screenshot. How do I make it larger. How do I reference this field with css? TIA
  2. Hey there everyone! I'm currently working on a bilingual site (Russian and English). The problem is that site-wide fonts only work out for the English language while Cyrillic letters/words look pretty ugly. The question is whether I can use different font for the Russian part of my site via extra coding (using custom CSS)? The structure of my site is the following: a welcome page with two buttons (English, Russian); each button leading to a language-based homepage, so there are two homepages and corresponding sub-pages made in the two languages.
  3. Hi there, I have set this text to H1 on my homepage - but I am hoping there is a way to reduce the leading (space between the lines of text or the line height) as they are appearing to be quite floating from a design perspective. Attached is an image of the current look - wondering if anyone has any advice on how to reduce this! Thanks in advance.
  4. Hello there, I would like to have a small phrase on my website displayed in a smaller font size, than what is traditionally available. <font size= 2> <a href ="URL" > Photo by XYZ</a> Unfortunately that crashes my site and I get a blank page displayed when I include the font size. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong here`?
  5. I am able to change the font style of everything except header 1. When I select a different font, the dropdown menu registers the selection, but the font on the website doesn't change. Refreshing the both the squarespace client and actual website does not change anything. Does anyone else have this issue or a fix?
  6. Hello, all I am having some difficulties getting my template right, can you please help me found a solution for my issue? I need to change the size of my confirmation page font because it is too small right now making it impossible to read, also the title where it says "order confirmed" has a total different format than my website design. I would appreciate your help if you could answer this. Heres a link to the check out page https://www.bakdshop.com/checkout/order-confirmed?oid=5ddaea4daf35fa2772f0b471&authCode=NWRkYWVhNGRhZjM1ZmEyNzcyZjBiNDcxOjIwMTktMTEtMjRUMjA6Mzg6MzcuMDQxWkHu5mVF7kf3bf9X-UZzYMmcnmqPl2nZUoClkfPv4su- Password is 1111111111 Thank you so Much!
  7. I’m looking for some help to change the mobile font size on a single page on a website. I have CSS code changing the font size for all mobile pages, which is perfect, but now I need to further modify the mobile font on a single page without impacting the font size at the other page breaks. I also don’t want the CSS to impact font size on any other page. Any help would be appreciated!

  9. Hi Guys, I'm a complete newbie to CSS. I am trying to add a custom font to my h1 (Heading 1). See attached CSS Code I put in. It won't display with the correct font, it's not the font and chunky. I've also attached what the font "Canela Thin" should look like. Could you please let me know what I need to do? Help!
  10. Hi all! I added a custom font to my website but on mobile. The letters of the product catalog are overlapping each other. What can I do? Page => https://www.belroseclassics.com/specials Thanks in advance!!
  11. Hi, I need to change the font for 'Shopping Cart' text on my cart page. Where can I add this so that it only changes the Heading for this page only (CART) ? Google inspect and this is what is currently set for the Heading (H2) font-family: Playfair Display SC - I need it changed to Lago. Also where exactly do you enter CSS for the cart area? Thanks, Lee
  12. When I am editing my site I use medium paragraphs and all these other adjustments to my text along with my headers, but when I look at the live site the fonts and images are all smaller than when I am editing. Any ideas on a fix?
  13. Hiya, just wondering if anyone is able to advise how to get this look for a header text? The block colour behind the text. I love the look and can't figure out what terms to search for here... Thanks in advance.
  14. I've uploaded a custom font to my site with appropriate web file types and coordinating url sources. It displays perfectly on my desktop machine, but doesn't display on mobile or any other computer. Is something wrong with my css? No luck researching on my own.. 15. Hi Everyone I'm using the OM template and am struggling with the limitation of body links, specifically body link colour. It's not clear for readers which text is linked due to the stroke weight of the font in that template so I wanted to style hyperlinks with an underline to make it obvious versus using a lurid colour to get the links to stand out. I know I can manually do this but it's such a basic CSS style, I'm surprised that there are no decoration options. I'm on a personal plan and not sure I'm able to deal with a custom code injection that will operate on the global style sheet based on the way the parameters are configured in the design panel of Squarespace. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem or has come up with an elegant fix? Appreciate any advice or pointers that anyone can offer. Thanks in advance. Alex
  16. Hey guys, Please help! I just finished designing my site using the York template - and am viewing the mobile version of it. However, it seems the mobile adaptation possibilities of this template are very limited. I can't find options to edit the necessary style tweaks for mobile on this template. I've attached screenshots below, both of mobile and desktop. My problems are the following: 1. On the index pages, the images look fine when they're scaled to large on desktop. On mobile I want them small. Otherwise they're too big and too cropped. 2. I'd like to adjust the height of the Intro Text, but only on the mobile version. The desktop looks fine, but I'd like to scale things down on mobile. 3. Lastly, on the project pages, I'd like to be able to scale down the body text. Again, only for mobile version. Anybody? Below is the URL to my site. Thanks!!! http://www.mostdesigned.com

  19. Hello, I would like to code a custom font into the header of the mobile view of my website. I have done so successfully for the regular view but it defaults into standard font when i switch to mobile view. Any ideas?
  20. Hi do you have a css code to customise font in the buttons and navigation?
  21. Hi, I have changed the layout of my website and now use large headings. This has also meant the blog titles are now huge on a desktop and only fit a few words on each line. Is there a way of customising the font size of just the blog titles please? I use the Horizon Template. Example of huge Blog titles: https://heathersmall-mpeople.com/news/heather-small-releases-new-moving-on-up-remixes-for-2019 Many thanks in advanced! Graham
  22. Hello, I have managed to change the H1 of my website to my custom imported font using CCS coding however I cannot change my site title. Wanting to change to font 'better signature' I am using the Foster Design Template. Current coding as attached- what am I doing wrong?
  23. I'd love some help with this one. A customer is experimenting with colour backgrounds for select pages and I need to change the font colour in this one page only: https://www.leadingedgedc.com/solutions-for-your-business Until they decide on their alternate block colours, I'm using this Custom CSS: /* COLOUR BACKGROUND FOR SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR BUSINESS */ #solutions-for-your-business { background-color: #1e3267; border-style: solid; border-color: #d7cbd7; border-width: 2px; h2{ color: white; } p { colour: white; } .summary-title { colour: white } } In the editor view, the background and H2 colours are appearing as per custom CSS, but the paragraph and Summary title text remain black instead of white. When I check the published page, none of the custom colours are showing. Have I got the CSS wrong? Appreciate the help.
  24. Hi! I'm trying to change the font when you click to enlarge a photo in a gallery. See attached screenshot. I added a custom font for Header 1 and that is the font showing up in the enlarged photo caption. The problem is that it is small and difficult to read. I'd like to change it to H2. Squarespace support could not help and suggested I try here. They said i may have to edit the custom CSS to change it, but when i looked, it seems like it would change the H1 font on the entire site. TLDR: So basically I need to change the font in the enlarged photo caption from H1 to H2. You can see here: www.iglamlab.com > About > Team > click to enlarge one of the photos in the gallery and see caption font.
  25. Hey Guys, So I added custom coding to the fonts but it isn't appearing on the live site. I can see it when I am on the Squarespace dashboard but not on the live site. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've attached the desktop image as to what it should be and then mobile version of it showing incorrectly. Thanks,
