  3. On the Forte Template, I am using a custom font and am wondering how can I change the spacing between the letters. I tried using the letter-spacing code, but it did not work. Does this only work for certain fonts? Also, on the homepage of the Forte Template, there is an element in the bottom left-hand corner that lists the name of one of your navigation tabs with the page title that corresponds to the photos that are being shown. What code can I use to change this to my custom font as well? Thanks! (@tuanphan)

When i change the site title font size in style editor noting happens, the size seems locked in some way. Is it possible to change this with a CSS code? I imagine this being a very simple coding, but i haven't found a solution when searching, and i do not really know anything about CSS myself. Also, i would like the dropdown navigation folders to have a different color than the rest of the navigation, so i also need a code for this, if possible.. 8. Hi guys, I've added code to a summary block to add a background and outline to it (to make it look like tiles). I am now trying to make the excerpt font bigger but the tile-code doesn't seem to recognise this change. So when an excerpt used to run e.g. over 3 lines and now that it's bigger it's 4 lines the tile background stays as it was and the text is cut off at the bottom. This happens only occasionally, sometimes when I reload the page it looks fine. I attached a screenshot. Here is the code I used (Tudor/Skye template): .summary-item{outline: 12px solid #FFFFFF; background-color: #FFFFFF; } .summary-excerpt p {font-size: 15px !important; } I'm trying to get it done on the summary block on my homepage: https://www.assassinsdontgetbored.com/ Please can anyone help, I've done as much as I'm able to myself but it seems I need a hand for this last little step.

  15. Hi everyone! I’m having some trouble with markdown and I’m hoping someone in the community might be able to help. Using markdown, my goal is to have a line of text in H2 centered AND fade to a different color when you hover over it. Using the code below, I’ve been able to get the text to fade when I hover over it using the markdown code below. But I haven’t been able to figure out how to center it, it stays left-aligned. There is also a strange thin line that’s appearing under the text that I’m not sure how to remove. (Screenshot of code is attached as the Squarespace forum translated the code when I typed it below) My website is using the Mentor template, and it’s at https://inmymindconference.com. Thanks so much for your help!
  16. I'm very new to this. I'm using Brine and am trying to add a custom font for h1. The font name is appearing in the list of available fonts but the h1 text is not changing. I manually changed the h1 font in Style but it changed nothing. Any thoughts on where I made a mistake? The following is the code I entered: font-family: 'gooddog'; src: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d279557b233000001390e62/t/5d2df62bcf8a3400014e88f9/1563293227668/gooddp__-webfont.woff) url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d279557b233000001390e62/t/5d2df688c27c1c00012438c8/1563293320236/gooddp__-webfont.woff2) url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d279557b233000001390e62/t/5d2df6ad0a52970001c7cd98/1563293357257/GOODDP__.TTF) } h1{ font-family: 'gooddog', 'gibson',sans-serif; }
  17. First off, this is the first website I've spent a lot of time on. I'm new to coding with CSS. I took all of the coding off of websites and answers to similar questions. I'm currently still using the trial version with Ajax loading disabled. Here's a link to my website and a password:homecomfortsolutionsboise.comMnbb77 What I wanted to do:Have a slideshow gallery on the top of my page with text over top of it.Center the text over the imageEdit the font type and size On my editor, it appears successful. When I go to the live site, everything is good except the font type isn't the same. Here's the code I used: Any other information I could provide to help you help me?Any tweaks you think I could make to fix things?Is there a more ideal way to write code to create the effect I want?Thanks for the help!
  18. Hi, I have added some custom font types to my website using the Custom CSS function, and for the most part, my custom styles are loading fine. Where I am having issues, is that pre-loaded fonts do not always show correctly within my website and default back to what is set in the sites styles. As a few examples, the code I am using is as follows. h1, h1 a, h1 blog title, entry-title { font-family: 'Wilderness'; } h2 { font-family: 'Wilderness'; } normal { font-family: 'Laski Sans'; } Wilderness is the custom font, that loads fine. Where I am having issues is the Laski Sans, which is a preexisting font on Squarespace. Even having this selected as Laski Sans in the site styles see's it not retain the font face and switch to another random font style. Is this a known / recurring issue for people? Is there a way to resolve and work around. It is also worth noting this largely tends to occur with card blocks, also if I click the card in page mode the font will correct itself. Then change back after a few hours/if I come on the next day. Thanks in advance!
  19. I'm trying to add a custom font to the navigation on my site. Have tried dozens of answers from other similar questions, but nothing is working for me. As you can see, I have successfully added the Windsor font throughout the rest of the site, but hung up on navs: https://soybean-drum-48b6.squarespace.com/ Thanks so much for your help!
  20. I've entered a custom font in CSS and it is displaying correctly on my laptop. But when I viewed the site on my phone it didn't show the custom font. Squarespace help team couldn't see the custom font either. Can someone please help! ? Thanks.
  21. Hi,I 'm a total beginner in CSS and can't seem to find a way to find the right code to customise my shop product pages fonts (even though I loaded custom fonts and manage to customise fonts on other pages of my website). I need your help please! I am using the Rally template and provided with a screenshot where all fonts that I would like to customise are circled in red. How to customise what's apparently called the product excerpt font (product description)? How to customise the purchase button font (and all other buttons in the shop)? How to customise the shop navigation font? And as a bonus, how to customise the announcement bar font without impacting my main navigation? Thanks a lot! Damien
