  1. I'm trying to figure out how to add a custom font that will work in my Blog post's body content within a Text Block. I can only find advice on how to us custom font for a Blog post's title. I already have a custom font installed on my site's Custom CSS, set to H3, that works everywhere on my site except for the Blog. I'm using the Five template if that matters. Any help would be very appreciated, thanks in advance!
  2. Hi, do you know how to change the size of the options and descriptions on a form? Mine is really small and I wanted it to be black to be more readable. Thanks
  3. Site URL: https://www.dalekeiger.net I wish to change the typeface for the date that displays under each blog post title. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you. D
  4. Site URL: http://lindsey-cash.com I have the Ishimoto template and am getting frustrated since the "Headings" site tweak controls the Heading 1 & Heading 2 and the "Text Size" controls the Body Text and Heading 3, so you are left with only 2 font choices and basically 2 text sizes on your whole site. I feel kind of dumb asking this, but is there a code I can get to customize font on each page, and how do i determine which text blocks are affected by which codes? Thanks SO MUCH!
  5. Site URL: https://crate.media/shows/launch-guide/1-apps I've updated the site design with a custom font via CSS. Seems to be working on the majority of areas of the site. However, the normal body/p font in bold is not generating properly on mobile views. Desktop (correct): Mobile (incorrect): As you can see it's defaulting to some generic serif font on the mobile version. I've tried assigning a specific bold font in the code below. Removing that, it looks like the desktop view automatically formats my font in its own version of bold, which is what I would like. But it isn't automatically working for mobile, which is why I tried to assign a specific "p strong" font. I also had to specify the custom font for the image caption blocks, as that was not updating automatically. Here's the code I inputted to use the new font: // HELVETICA NEUE THIN // @font-face { font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Thin'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d4b0cab3d651f0001b888d0/t/5e95d4d628d1592862d98574/1586877654407/HelveticaNeue+Thin.ttf'); } // ASSIGN H.N. THIN // p {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Thin'; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } // HELVETICA NEUE BOLD // @font-face { font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d4b0cab3d651f0001b888d0/t/5e95d4e7d41df27156da9138/1586877671732/HelveticaNeueMed.ttf'); } // ASSIGN H.N. BOLD // p strong {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold'; letter-spacing: -0.05em; } @media screen and (max-width: 765px) { p strong {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold'; letter-spacing: -0.05em; } } // IMAGE CAPTION FONT // .sqs-block-image .image-caption p {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Thin'; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } .image-title-wrapper {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Thin' !important; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } .image-subtitle-wrapper p {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Thin' !important; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } .image-subtitle-wrapper a {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Thin' !important; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } // IMAGE CAPTION FONT BOLD // .sqs-block-image .image-caption p strong {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold'; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } .image-title-wrapper strong {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold' !important; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } .image-subtitle-wrapper p strong {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold' !important; letter-spacing: 0.013em; } .image-subtitle-wrapper a strong {font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Bold' !important; letter-spacing: 0.013em; }

  7. Using the Jasper template. Here is the code I'm using: @font-face { font-family: "Metropolis"; src: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d707e930fec5500014bea13/t/5d786e87913a06645e30fa5f/1568173704160/Metropolis-Medium.woff2), url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d707e930fec5500014bea13/t/5d786e789da84f77dcfe024c/1568173688518/Metropolis-Medium.woff), url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d707e930fec5500014bea13/t/5d786eaf9da84f77dcfe0813/1568173744007/Metropolis-Medium.otf);} header#header * { font-family: 'Metropolis' !important; font-size: 22px!important; } h1 { font-family: 'Metropolis' !important; font-size: 22px!important; }
  8. Hi! I just switched up to the Wells template. I want to change the Site Title and Navagation to a custom web font I have been using. I was able to do it to my old template, but that HTML/CSS is not working for this new template. I have the font code: @font-face { font-family: 'Recoleta'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5928e31fe58c62d37df2a7d1/t/5d410d7047ee420001652090/1564544369780/39DCEF_0_0.woff2') format('woff2'), url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5928e31fe58c62d37df2a7d1/t/5d410d739a4d4a0001fa3e70/1564544371195/39DCEF_0_0.woff') format('woff'), url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5928e31fe58c62d37df2a7d1/t/5d410d63a71ed100016bafe7/1564544355607/Latinotype+-+Recoleta+SemiBold.otf') format('otf'); } but none of the HTML/CSS I have found is working for me. I have tried each of these so far and nothing. (Each at one time, not together.) #headerNav nav a { font-family: 'Recoleta' !important; } .desc-wrapper p > strong { font-family: 'Recoleta' !important; } header h1.site-title { font-family: "Recoleta"; } .has-site-title .Header-branding { font-family: "Recoleta"; } Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
  9. Site URL: https://apricots-ellipse-kza7.squarespace.com/ Hey everyone, I have been trying to figure this out on my own but I think this is above my current skill level. I don't know anything about coding so any customization I have been able to do so far has been through searching on this forum and google. I would like to add a black boarder around the individual boxes within the dropdown menus in the navigation bar so there is a bit of separation between the links and not just a bunch of white. I have included a quick mockup of what I'm trying to accomplish to help clarify. Also, this site uses some branded custom font, however I would like the dropdown menus to use the same regular font as the navigation bar. Also as a bonus, if someone could help me figure out how to change the font of the "Quick View" bars on the products, that would be incredible. If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated!
  10. Site URL: https://www.mumfolk.com I'm having trouble formatting fonts on mobile. Couple of issues: 1. The fonts aren't displaying correctly when I view the site on my mobile phone (iphone 7) although they look differently when you look on mobile view on desktop 2. I would like to centrally align the text and buttons (standard buttons and buttons for forms) on mobile but it's not seeming to work I have 9 font styles in the CSS, not sure if that's causing a problem! Here is the code I have @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) { body {font-family: "aktiv grotesk", sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; line-height: 25px; text-align: centre !important!;} h1 {font-size: 35pt; line-height: 55px; text-align: centre;} h2 {font-family: "Bely", serif; font-size: 25pt; line-height: 38px;} h3 {font-family: 'aktiv grotesk', sans-serif; font-weight: 600; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22px;} h4 {font-family: 'Bely Display', serif; font-weight: 700; font-size: 25px; letter-spacing: 0.03em; text-transform: none; line-height: 1.3em; color:(#E7B1F2); text-align: centre !important!;} h5 strong { font-family: 'Bely Display', serif; font-weight: 700; font-size: 20px; letter-spacing: 0.2em; text-transform: uppercase; line-height: 2.2em; color:(#000000); text-align: centre !important!;} h6 {font-family: 'aktiv grotesk', sans-serif; font-weight: 500; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 0.2em; text-transform: uppercase; line-height: 2.5em; color:(#000000); text-align: centre;} h7 italic {font-size: 21pt; text-align: center !important!;} } Any suggestions would be very welcome! Thank you
  11. Site URL: http://www.juliestamenic.com Hi all, Could anyone tell me what is missing in the below code to apply my customized font to my site title? I have tried the below code but it does not do anything... Page in question is: https://www.juliestamenic.com/portfolio CSS Code: @font-face { font-family: 'flood'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/58fa64a22e69cfe88ec04b3f/t/5e91d23d39bf386e5444816e/1586614845140/Flood.otf'); } #siteTitle a {font-family: 'flood'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/58fa64a22e69cfe88ec04b3f/t/5e91d23d39bf386e5444816e/1586614845140/Flood.otf'),; } Thanks a million Julie

  15. Site URL: http://slabtowncider.com Hey Everyone, I'm in a bit of a jam. I was able to successfully add custom CSS to the website to change various headers and H fonts to custom font styles, success. However, running into the issue that Squarespace's hard coded page titles in the checkout page and checkout confirmation page make the font look weird because it's all in capitals (we don't use the specific font with capitals anywhere else on the website.) Does anyone know if this is is possible to Fix? or know of CSS that would fix it? Closest I've been able to find is by adding a text transform, but I don't know how to map that particular item. I'm also having the same problem on the checkout confirmation page.
  16. I am looking to change the font of my navigation bar and my page title. I have been searching on the correct CSS coding to use, but none of them seem to work. I am using the Five template, and would appreciate any help. Here is my website: https://www.thenaturalwanderer.com/ and here is what I have for the custom font I would like to change it to (and is working on other parts of my website)@font-face { font-family: 'SeaBreeze'; src: url('//static1.squarespace.com/static/59377bf2d482e9936343333b/t/595eefae72af6564b208c050/1499393967009/SeaBreeze-Regular.woff') format('woff'); font-weight: normal; font-style: normal;} Any help would be appreciated.
  17. Site URL: https://www.herefortherightriesling.com/ Hello, I added a custom css font into my page. It worked perfectly, but the one device the font won't show on is on my iPhone. It's driving me nuts. I have looked and looked for answers, but haven't had any luck. Here is the code I am using - @font-face { font-family: "sangriaregular"; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e7fdcaa598f9f6f7a79057a/t/5e868dfd75b09077b6bfd4e6/1585876477886/sangria-webfont.woff2') format('woff2'), url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e7fdcaa598f9f6f7a79057a/t/5e868df767d06f1dfe6894ce/1585876471151/sangria-webfont.woff') format('woff'), url ('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e7fdcaa598f9f6f7a79057a/t/5e88e737959bb658fcfcf66b/1586030392293/Sangria.ttf') format ('truetype'); font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; } h2 { font-family: "sangria", Arial, sans-serif !important; } I uploaded the custom font through Font-squirrel to make it a web font. They provided this information - "Fonts not loading in iPhone or iPad- The most common problem here is that you are serving the fonts from an IIS server. IIS refuses to serve files that have unknown MIME types. If that is the case, you must set the MIME type for SVG to "image/svg+xml" in the server settings. " Should I be adding in an SVG version? If so, does anyone know how this works? Thank you so much!
  18. Site URL: https://www.numsyums.com/ Hello, Pretty new here and I have added a custom font to my site but it only attaches to the heading 2. Especially on the menu page how do I change the font the the custom one I want. Also my site title is no the same on the footer. #site-title{font-family:'Playlist'} h1 {font-family: 'Playlist';} h2 {font-family: 'Playlist';} h3 {font-family: 'Playlist';}
  19. Site URL: https://www.ronaldaartsen.com Hi, Wasn’t sure if I had to post this in Site Design or here, but I recently changed to 7.1 from 7.0. and took Merida as a starting point. Now I am really satisfied with the desktop view, and on my phone. But on my ipad it seems it does not show right the responsiveness with fonts. It breaks down the headings so one letter is broken off. Kind of bad hyphenation which may be solved with css, but if the headings would adjust size-wise it would solve the problem more easily. Is there any way I can accomplish this? Plus when I hold my ipad in vertical view, it shows the mobile menu, but still keeps two blocks next to eachother. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
  20. Site URL: https://www.hoveringinthekitchen.com/blog/chicken-pot-pie-review I can't figure out how to change the font of the categories on the blog page to a custom css font. I figured out how to change it on the blog item list page (.blog-masonry .blog-categories {font-family: Annika;}) I can't seem to get it to work on the actual blog posts with .blog-meta-item–categories {font-family: 'Annika' !important;}. I used this page as my guidance; https://beaverhero.com/squarespace-71-css-list/ Can someone help me out? Thanks!
  21. Site URL: http://lychee-wolverine-tdkg.squarespace.com Hi Squarespace community! I would like to have a custom title font for my blog posts in Pacific template without changing the Title 1 setting in the website's Design/Site Styles tab. I've chosen Adorn Garland for the H1 typeface, which I like for page H1 headers. However, on blog titles, it looks like trash. I'd like to use Raleway on my blog titles. Thanks in advance for any help! Cheers, Cindy
  22. Site URL: https://silver-bronze-ka6x.squarespace.com/config/design/custom-css Hi, newb here. I am currently leveraging the Fillmore template and am attempting (with zero luck) to change the font of my site title to something custom. I uploaded the custom font via Custom CSS already. Below is what my coding looks like: //ADDING BELOVE FONT// @font-face { font-family: 'belove'; src: url ('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e8279b614491577aa423cac/t/5e827b67856e200e37420fae/1585609576000/Belove.otf') ;} //ASSIGN BELOVE FONT// #sitetitle {font-family: 'belove';} You will have my eternal thanks if you're able to advise my confused self on how to fix. Thank you so much!
  23. I'm trying to change the font weight just for Large Paragraph in 7.1. Below is the current code I've got in my Custom CSS; –––––––––––––––– p.sqsrte-large { font-weight: 400; } –––––––––––––––– However, the weight isn't changing, and it's only when I up it to 600 does it change to reflect that weight. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance
  24. Hello, everyone! I am looking for help with adding custom fonts to some image Layout Blocks that I have added to my page and hoping for some help. I have been using custom CSS code to add the custom font and am wanting to apply this font to an image block. I have tried the following code without success: .sqs-block-image .image-caption p { font-family: coldiac;} and .sqs-block-image .image-caption p { font-family: coldiac !important;} neither of which has worked. I have attached a screen shot, where it says "capturing the feeling" is where I would like to apply the custom font. Any advice would be do helpful. Thank you!
  25. Site URL: https://www.caroline-shenaz-hossein.com/caroline-shenaz-hossein#about-caroline-hossein I've used the collage image design throughout my website, and like it that way, *except* for one image collage on one page. The text is *way* too big. How do I override this? I've tried suggestions mentioned on other posts, but they don't work. The template is Hyde, and here's the page https://www.caroline-shenaz-hossein.com/caroline-shenaz-hossein#about-caroline-hossein Thanks so much!
