  1. Hello. We are adding a blog feature to our website which uses the Bedford template in Squarespace 7.0. I'm looking to change the font of the blog post titles to be more consistent with titles we use on other pages of our site. Currently it looks like it's using the "Normal" text from our site to format the blog post titles, but I would like it to use the Heading 2 settings. Is there any coding that can do this for me? I'm not seeing any styling options specific for blogs only in this template.
  2. Site URL: https://www.steventhesier.com/home Found instructions on how to use a custom font on a site using the Custom CSS panel on the site. Works fine on desktop but custom font does not display on mobile. Can somebody pinpoint what modifications need to be done so that the font displays on mobile? site is steventhesier.com/home (currently have a custom page as the homepage since site is under construction). Here's the code I have used: font-face { font-family: Bebas Neue Regular; src: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d990778e61ac054756f2583/t/5fce860610a49c4f6915c04d/1607370246070/BebasNeue+Regular.otf), } h1 { font-family: 'Bebas'; } h2 { font-family: 'Bebas Neue Bold'; } h3 { font-family: 'Bebas Neue Regular'; } H4 { font-family: 'Bebas Neue Book'; } .sqsrte-large { font-family: 'Bebas Neue Regular'; } p { font-family: 'Bebas Neue Light'; } .sqsrte-small { font-family: 'Bebas Neue Light'; }
  3. Site URL: https://armadillo-chrysalis-chb5.squarespace.com/ A site that I've added custom fonts to doesn't seem to reflect the CSS changes for the body on different devices, but does show the font on my browser in editing mode. Site: https://armadillo-chrysalis-chb5.squarespace.com/ Password: katiegall Here is the CSS included (these files have been uploaded). @font-face { font-family: 'Arsilon'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/6022e0664d3b9b76d5c4a273/t/6033c3d57dd52d12adb796a3/1614005206282/Arsilon.otf');} @font-face { font-family: 'Monterrat-Regular'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/6022e0664d3b9b76d5c4a273/t/6033c49be6476567185350e2/1614005403513/Montserrat-Regular.ttf');} @font-face { font-family: 'Montserrat-BoldItalic'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/6022e0664d3b9b76d5c4a273/t/6033c4ea8a8e7b157b8dcaf9/1614005483011/Montserrat-BoldItalic.ttf');} h1{ font-family: 'Arsilon' !important;} h2{font-family: 'Arsilon' !important;} h3{font-family: 'Montserrat-BoldItalic' !important;} p{font-family: 'Montserrat-Regular' !important;} Any insight is appreciated!
  4. Site URL: https://www.thebloodyfoody.com/ Hello, I am trying to add a font and not sure how to fix this syntax error first line? I followed the steps laid out by this article to see if it works anyway and it doesn't -- https://www.kayleighnoele.com/blog/how-to-upload-a-custom-font-to-squarespace. I want to change the font for paragraphs, so I was putting, p2 in lower case? I guess that it correct Totally new to this so would appreciate some help 😊
  5. Site URL: http://changeout.squarespace.com Hi all, I'm trying to get this custom font Veneer to work on this site www.changeout.squarespace.com (password: changeout) as is header font. Code used: @font-face { font-family: 'Veneer'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/6016d3222e514a5b86ece66e/t/60316c69bd582f47016db053/1613851759471/Veneer.otf'); } for some reason in certain edit modes it DOES appear but it refuses to "take" otherwise (screenshot attached: the logo is a PNG and how the header font should appear. What am I doing wrong please? Thanks Chris

  7. Site URL: https://emilytraub.com/work/sf-usability-report Site URL: https://emilytraub.com/work/sf-usability-report Hello! I'm new to squarespace and have been using both Custom CSS and Markdown blocks to customize my fonts across my site (Rubik and Red Hat Text) - however, I found that neither of the two fonts I was using were appearing when other people viewed them on their own devices (they only saw the fonts from the default font 'pack'). So, I went to the "fonts" section under "design", found one of my fonts (Rubik, the one that I'm using for headings), and selected it, but couldn't find the second, so am continuing to specify it only using markdown blocks. After I did this, I noticed that all my headings are (for the most part haha! Sometimes they will switch back while I'm editing my website) displaying with a very light weight (looks around 300, even though it's supposed to be 500) and I'm not sure how to change it! It's like the font pack is overriding the changes i'm trying to make? Any help would be very much appreciated!
  8. Site URL: https://runnybabbit.net hello, i added custom css to my website which shows up in my chrome browser but not safari and not for anyone else. My css is: @font-face { font-family: 'EMBROIDERY'; src: url ('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e9da3236f79315d1d6784ff/t/5ea19aee0b77487bad1df656/1587649262063/EMBROIDERY.TTF');} P {font-family:'EMBROIDERY';} H1 {font-family:'EMBROIDERY';} H2 {font-family:'EMBROIDERY';} H3 {font-family:'EMBROIDERY';}
  9. Site URL: https://www.arielleneal.com/test-page I am trying to use multiple fonts on a single line of text (specifically a serif and script font) for a client's website on Squarespace 7.1 The site is currently on a trial site, so I'm troubleshooting on an unpublished page of my own website (7.0) but still having the same issues. The color, size and weight of the targeted word changes, but the font isn't changing. I've tried switching it to various non-custom fonts that already exist in Squarespace and none of them work. Please help! I don't want to resort to adding the script font via images throughout the site. CSS Code: h1 em strong, h1 strong em { color: lightpink; font-family: pacifico; font-style: normal; /*if you want to remove the italics*/ font-weight: normal; /*if you want to remove the bold style*/ text-transform: none; /*if you want to remove the all uppercase or lowercase style*/ } This is the tutorial I used, the font color changes but it's not in pacifico: https://beatrizcaraballo.com/blog/add-another-heading-to-squarespace-without-code-blocks Thank you!!
  10. Site URL: http://www.bagelcoffeeculture.com/en/home Hello community, Writing about the custom font I uploaded on this site > http://www.bagelcoffeeculture.com/en/home 1. 11. How can I change the font in the dropdown menu in the ordering process when selecting variants?
  12. Site URL: https://noll-demo.squarespace.com/ I love how my site looks with the NOLL template, but everything looks clunky and unrefined real quick after the first breakpoint, which is usually when I view my site on tablet or with a narrowed web browser. Problem The main problem for me is the unnatural increase in font size. It becomes almost twice as large than my default font size after the first breakpoint. Desired Solution SOLUTION 1: Make the tablet version / first breakpoint version of my website look like the default full screen browser version. SOLUTION 2: Use custom CSS to adjust the font size within the first breakpoint. However... is this even possible? I’ve tried to Google this but I’ve found nothing on how to fix it. I understand some other theme templates have breakpoint customisation within the settings panel, unfortunately the NOLL template doesn’t have this so I’m hoping for some CSS code to fix it under the hood. Thank you to anyone that can help!
  13. hello all, im looking for a way to ONLY modify the body font sizes in mobile view of template 7.1, keeping the nav bar and footer's font size unchanged. is that possible? thanks in advance!
  14. Site URL: https://www.travelpatches.co.uk/ Hi, I've pretty much finished customizing my site, however on the two photos i've attached there is certain text in the blog and in the shopping basket page that I can't turn white by using the settings. On the shopping basket page, it would be nice to the other text to be bigger and whiter but that's not a priority. Does anyone have any idea whether I just missed the setting or if I have to add code to the page instead. Thank you for any replies!
  15. Site URL: https://www.leannebebbington.co.uk Hello! Can anybody help me get the font weight (I think It's this) of my tagline to 500 in mobile view like I have on my desktop view? The font just needs to be a little bit more bold. I used the below code: a.Mobile-bar-branding:after { content: "CONTENT CREATOR/SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER"; display: block; margin-top: 20px; font-weight: 500; font-size: 11px; font-family: FormaDJRDisplay; color: #333; }
  16. Site URL: https://www.epicartsmanagement.com/ As of a few days ago, my site (which has displayed perfectly for years) now no longer displays the Navigation and Header fonts as the ones I chose (Julius Sans One). Instead, they all have reverted to Times New Roman. When going to Design and attempting to edit/examine, they all appear correct. Any thoughts as to what might be going wrong?

  18. Site URL: https://orange-beagle-9jfc.squarespace.com/ Hi there, I'd like to change the font size and line height of both headings and paragraphs in mobile view only. How is the CSS for this? Thanks, as always! Matthias
  19. Hi all. I'm a CSS newbie, but am starting to get the hang of it. Have made a few customizations that have worked thus far to both the standard and mobile site. I don't know if any of those customizations are overriding what I'm trying to do with the mobile menu font size, which is too big and I just want to bring it down a notch. Here is the code that I found that folks were saying worked (not working for me). I've tried adding the '!important;' tag after font-size as well and had no luck with that. And here is all the code I have already on my site, in case it's relevant. All of this code works properly: I'm still building the site so it's not public yet. Again, I just want to change the SIZE of the mobile menu font so it's slightly smaller. Thank you!
  20. Site URL: https://radish-flute-xksb.squarespace.com/config/design/custom-css Hello, Integrating my own font works only for headlines and paragraphs – Not for menu, buttons, price, product name, checkout, ... Below is my css so far. Would be fantastic to get some advice! Thanks in advance 🙂 //merkury_bold @font-face { font-family: merkury_bold; src: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/601d122b852db615309652d6/t/601e698b2fde0b5388e29a49/1612605836133/merkury_bold.otf); } //merkury_light @font-face { font-family: merkury_light; src: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/601d122b852db615309652d6/t/601e6995fb454231c728a067/1612605845814/merkury_light.otf); } h1 {font-family: 'Merkury_bold';} h2 {font-family: 'Merkury_bold';} h3 {font-family: 'Merkury_bold';} p {font-family: 'Merkury_light';} /* navigation */ nav#mainNavigation span { font-family: 'merkury_bold' !important; } /* button */ .sqs-block-button-element { font-family: 'merkury_bold' !important; }
  21. Site URL: https://www.charlottefeldforth.com/ When I look at my site on a large desktop the size of the type is way too small. When I scale the size of the window down to mock up a smaller screen size the type jumps up in size (to a much better proportion.) I don't want the type to reduce in size as the screen gets bigger! At the very least I'd like it to stay the same size. Any ideas?
  22. Site URL: https://bluebird-porcupine-yzdg.squarespace.com/collection-3w5d7 Hello, is it possible to increase both the H2 and P2 sizes on mobile only? I'd like to set my H2 at 1.4375rem and P2 at 1.1875rem This will be across all pages.
