I am desperate to get all of my e-mail marketing out of Mailchimp and into Squarespace but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do an automated e-mail campaign where people receive an e-mail every time a new blog post is published. Is this possible? I basically want to create a template that is populated and triggered by an RSS feed.   2. Ok so I'm having an issue that I feel there should be a simple solution.... Basically I'm selling webinars through the commerce section of SS but I can't get emails to be unique to each webinar. I'd like to be able to have the customers automatically receive an email when they order product X, and a different email when they order product Y. The best I can find is making one a "physical product" and one a "digital product" but I have a lot of webinars so this work around only goes so far. I'd imagine there would be some sort of simple code like: if_order=[orderX] , Send[emailXTemplate], but I can't seem to get this type of thing to work either. Is there something I'm missing?

Hi Folks: Once people sign up for our Newsletter and using SS, they get an email to confirm that they are signing up (double opt-in). 1- Is there a way to customize that email that is sent?2 - once they have confirmed, can another email be sent with a discount for their next visit or the like?   4. Hi, I have a business account on SS and my website URL is www.businessABC.com, I want to change it to www.myname.com. That would not be a problem and from what I know I would just need to buy a new domain and set it as my primary domain. My main problem is with G Suite. When I signed up to SS I got G Suite 1st year for free and I have been using it as my main business email account. Ideally, I was planning on keeping the old domain for the website as a transition phase for a few months. Since I would only need to pay an extra 20$ for the domain, it would not be a huge problem. But the G Suite is around 80$, so to keep the old email address I would have to pay the 80$, plus an extra 80$ for the new email after rebranding. Things are getting a bit expensive. Are there any alternatives? How would you go about it?I have a few business relationships built on that email and I was wondering what happens to it if I don't renew it. I can forward everything to other email account but what would happen if someone sends an email to the old email address? I was thinking if it would be possible to transfer the domain I have on SS to GoDaddy or BlueHost, maybe get some hosting there and continue running the email account from there... But I have no idea if that is a possibility. I must add that I'm right at the end of my first year in SS. So everything is about to renew, hence my dilemma.   6. I've added custom code to 3 pages on my website for an email subscription that goes to Marketo instead of the squarespace email campaign. When I first arrive to my website (regardless of page), the subscription box is there. When I switch to a new page that also has the subscription page, the subscription box is not there. When I return to the original page, the subscription box is no longer there. The subscription box is only live one the first page I land on - not 1 specific page. Once I switch pages, it disappears altogether. Anyone have a solution? Thanks!
  7. I am tweaking a shift-trade form for our fire/rescue department and need an email to go to the person submitting the shift-trade, person they are trading with, and the admin captain. I would like the emails to be sent once the submit button is clicked and not take them to an email app. I would also like the emails they get to be able to reply all including the emails of the two parties trading and the admin captain. The two doing the shift trade email addresses are in the form and the admin captain's email is where the form goes when they hit submit. Clear as mud? Does this code to make this happen go under Advanced, Post-Submit HTML? If so, what does this code look like?

Originally I set up my newsletter sign up boxes to have double opt-in for Squarespace and Mailchimp, but then I realised the confirmation email was coming from Squarespace and not from Mailchimp, and really Squarespace is just a backup for me. So I turned off the Squarespace connection and left the Mailchimp connection and then the Mailchimp connection no longer worked. The double opt-in box is ticked in Squarespace (for Mailchimp) and the double opt-in setting is turned on in Mailchimp. I have tried resetting the Squarespace connection. I have authenticated the domain, and it's still not working? Had any one else had this issue?

  10. When I enter an address in my submission form on my home page it sends an email and goes through the whole process of double opting in, but it doesn't update the subscriber to my mail chimp account. Any ideas why that is?
  11. If I use SquareSpace email campaigns and its (mandatory?) double opt in functionality...can you avoid having a 'nearly there' page divert / pop up once people submit their email address? I don't want customers to leave the page they are viewing... Is it possible to just have a line pointing out that email confirmation will be required underneath the email field and then they continue perusing the web page they were on...? Thanks in advance, Trudy PS: do Square clients recommend the Square Space email campaign for a small bricks and mortar service based business?
  12. Hello our corporate gsuite account has been deactivated due to nonpayment. Our gsuite was purchased using squarespace. My card has been been blocked for reasons that there is possible hacking and security concerns. Issue has been resolved recently but our gsuite has been deactivated already. I have tried to signup again in the email and gsuite section of the setting but our previous www.intercedeph.com address doesn't come out but only the domain option intercedeph.online. While we did buy the domain intercedeph.online through squarespace (which is used by our website), the intercedeph.com for our email addresses was purchased in gsuite throwugh sqaurespace as well. Need help. We couldn't find a work around on this and badly need to recover our previous emails. Thank you.
  13. I am having issues with receiving customer notification emails to my desired email address (hello@karastone.com.au). When an order is placed, the "new order" emails aren't coming through to this address. I think it might be because I'm not using the default no-reply email address for "from email". However when I went to change this, it won't actually let me save the address "no-reply@squarespace.com" instead of "hello@karastone.com.au". Does anyone know why that is? Also, if anyone has any other ideas about why I might not be receiving emails to this address I'm all ears. For reference, the admins on the account are all receiving the "new order" emails - they're just not coming through to the "hello@karastone.com.au" address.   14. I have been in the process of migrating all of my Mailchimp lists and campaigns over to Squarespace, but the one thing I can't seem to figure out is RSS campaigns. I currently have around 3,000 people subscribed to get an e-mail when a new essay goes live on our site. Can I do this in Squarespace? How? I just want a simple automated e-mail that is triggered by the RSS feed.
  15. I wanted to use full blog posts in my email campaign instead of the 'read more' button that makes you leave the email. I have also read the way in which this could be done (https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001280668-Building-email-campaigns#toc-turn-a-full-blog-post-into-a-campaign) . We use a template for our email campaigns so the way suggested in this article means I have to re-create the template each time we send out a campaign. Is there an alternate way to do this? I was using mailchimp to do this before and it worked great .. I could publish the blog posts and they would appear in mailchimp in the template we created, but would like to achieve this with Squarespace email campaigns and get rid of mailchimp.
  16. I want to have my logo at the top of the customer notification emails. I have loaded code as per another thread and the logo is showing up in the preview but when I send a test email the logo is not loading in my email. Does anyone know why?

  18. My question is do they offer custom email address with domains. Currently I have a different prefix for different marketing so I know what advertising is working for me for example dogonhols@burrumriverretreat.com.au, website@burrumriverretreat.com.au, google@burrumriverretreat.com.au This is currently an option with the hosting I have with Webcity.com.au (I'm in Australia).
  19. I am creating a new site with the Bedford template for a client and am working on the donation feature. On their old site they have it setup to send an email to the person that makes a donation and would like the same thing on their Squarespace site. I have worked to replicate their old email as much as I can using the Commerce > Customer Notifications section of the admin but have something that I am not able to replicate. At the top of the donation email, my client would like the customer's name and address to be listed. Their name is easy, since it is one of the 4 JSON variables listed here for donation emails: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206540797-Commerce-email-notifications However, that leaves street address, city, state and zip. Those are collected in the PayPal form but I don't know how to get them to show up in the donation email. If using the PayPal text fields isn't an option, can I create custom text fields in the "Additional Information" section of the Donation Block edit window that will create custom JSON variables that I can place inside my donation emails? Thank you in advance for any light you can shed on this issue.
  20. We have three submission forms on our site to gather info. They were all set up using an POP3 email in the storage tab. Yesterday we introduced an IMAP email into one of the forms and now none of the forms are working. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks
  21. We haven't received an order confirmation email from squarespace in 3 days. G-suite verified our MX is operating correctly. Any one else experiencing this? Squarespace says orders were blocked but Google has no record of them.
  22. Hi We need the option to have invoices emailed for Squarespace charges and to be able to choose the address they are sent to for each different site on an account. This question was raised once before, but was closed with the reasoning that (paraphrased) "It sucks that you can get your invoices emailed, but you do get a handy notification email before being charged to let you know the charge is coming" I find this an unacceptable response. I have designed many sites for different people and I need them to be automatically sent invoices when they are charged by Squarespace.
  23. I have email sign up at the bottom of every page on my website: www.writtencontentplus.com. I set it up to go straight into my Mailchimp list but I've received no new sign ups. I used to get 50-100/week with my old site (Wordpress). I'm aware Mailchimp uses two time authentication so I tested it and got friends to do so too and no one has received any authentication email from Mailchimp. Obviously, something is not working. How do I get it working? It's an important element of my site.. Thank you in advance. Oh, BTW, this might be important: I built the site in Squarespace but got my husband to port it to my existing domain (as above). Could that have anything to do with it?

  25. Before we created a website with SquareSpace and moved our email campaigns to their system, we used to use Constant Contact. It was very helpful to know which of the email addresses on our list were bouncing so we could keep our email lists as clean as possible. Does SquareSpace have this feature? I can't seem to find any info on this.
