  1. Site URL: https://www.ellierosepierpoint.com Hi all, I'd appreciate some help as I've gone round in circles so many times! I've signed up for gsuite, added the mx records to godaddy (where my domain is hosted) and even waited the 72hrs it says it may take for activation, however, every time I click the login button in the email it takes me to google admin to login, I try and it says my domain needs to verify. I go back to the squarespace resend the invitation and try again, still nothing. Support page says I have to verify by getting the code from inside the admin login for my new email but I can't get in there, not even to setup point where I can get the verification code. I have full administration permission. What can I do here? Thanks, Ellie

I am hoping to transfer an existing domain that I registered with Namecheap in 2019 over to Squarespace (I have a .com and co.uk domain - more on that later). I have pretty much built the site and looking to set a holding/parked page live while I finish it off. Before I do so, I'd like to add professional email addresses to my Namecheap account. It seems much cheaper than using G Suite through Squarespace (and the budget is really really tight for us right now - thanks Covid). So: - am I ok to transfer my .com domain over to Squarespace, but keep my .co.uk domain with Namecheap (and permanently redirect that link to the .com page)? And will I be charged to register this domain with Squarespace? (I read somewhere it is $20 but I might be entitled to the first year free?) - am I ok to set up my email addresses in Namecheap, even if I'm transferring the domain to Squarespace? I don't want to transfer it and then find I owe G Suite £15 a month for my three email addresses. Thanks so much for your help, and apologies if this seems like a very basic question...   4. Hi Guys, I'm an artist and would like to offer personalized e-cards with corresponding mp3 digital downloads of original music. I understand that it is not possible to offer variants of digital items, so I will need to make each a unique product. I believe I can create the products and set up the form for personalization without an issue. However, I am wondering if it's possible to implement my vision for delivery. After a person selects, personalizes and purchases an image/music combo, I would like the recipient to get an email with a standard subject ('A gift for you!'). The body of the email should display the image, the personalized message, and a link to the mp3 download. Is this possible? Any help would be appreciated!
  5. Hi all, I've seen a few people ask about how to integrate with platforms that use BCC fields to generate automated follow up emails for site & product reviews without response. I've use Trust Pilot previously to handle reviews as it's very well regarded and trusted by consumers, but without a BCC field in SquareSpace emails it seems impossible to use. Has anyone managed to find away around this lack of functionality? Many thanks in advance.

  7. I wanted to use full blog posts in my email campaign instead of the 'read more' button that makes you leave the email. I have also read the way in which this could be done (https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001280668-Building-email-campaigns#toc-turn-a-full-blog-post-into-a-campaign) . We use a template for our email campaigns so the way suggested in this article means I have to re-create the template each time we send out a campaign. Is there an alternate way to do this? I was using mailchimp to do this before and it worked great .. I could publish the blog posts and they would appear in mailchimp in the template we created, but would like to achieve this with Squarespace email campaigns and get rid of mailchimp.
  8. Site URL: http://www.aboutpd.org Hello, Our non-profit is launching an online email donation campaign. This begins with an email ask, which will take them to our PayPal donation form. After the donation is submitted, it will automatically take the user to a landing page on our website. On this landing page, we'd like to have an option for the user to forward the original email ask to a friend. If you've ever signed a petition online, perhaps you recognize this type of functionality, that prompts the user to send to friends via email. Is this possible on a Squarespace site? Can you point me in the right direction? Ideally, they would not have to leave the website to do this. I would also consider a solution with a pop-up. Thank you!

Hello, I have a form on my landing page that takes an email address and then on submit it redirects to a different page with a more in depth form but still has an email field in case users get to the bigger form first. I wanted to know how to pass the email from the first form to the second one so that it is already filled in and users don't have to type it again?

When I respond to my customers email me via my webpage, the reply email says "Form Submission - New Form and then the subject from my client." Is there any way to set up G suites in SquareSpace so that the subject line has my domain name rather than saying SquareSpace - New Form"? I don't want my reply emails to have the name "SquareSpace" on them. I want my domain name listed on the emails instead. I'm guessing there is a way and I'm just not seeing it. Site URL: http://perfectingproperty.co.uk Hi, My confirmation emails are being sent to clients from my gmail address domain@gmail.com (that I registered on squarespace with) but I would like them to come from my G Suite email address info@domain.co.uk (that I have signed up to through squarespace, after registering). Please can you advise how I can swap them over? It looks really unprofessional coming from a gmail account and may make clients worry about providing their data... I have had a look but can't see a way to change it under scheduling and email settings, and I'm not really sure what to do or try from there! I have an existing website, eneri.net, currently hosting with myhosting.com, domain registered and hosted at Network Solutions, and existing email is hosted at G-Suite. I need to move my web hosting over to squarespace, the email also needs to work. I have chatted with the SS customer support and I only got a bunch of links to documentation, they are not very clear on instructing what I need to do and if all this can work. The only thing I learned from the chat was, theoretically it will work. My questions here: - SS recommends that we "transfer" (instead of just "connecting/pointing the domain to the website") the domain hosting completely over to SS. Can someone really explain why ? Do we HAVE TO do that in order to gain access to the MX records, so I change it to point to Google/G-suite? - Will customer service help the migration when the time comes? So far I can only find support via chat and they copy and paste documents that doesn't sooth my concerns. I want to see if MORE technical support is available hidden somewhere. - How long will my email service be interrupted from the time I have to move the domain / transfer the domain, to changing the MX records ? Any smart ways to avoid downtime to a minimal? I care less about my website being down, but email is crucial. - Can someone list out a step by step list on what I need to do for the most seamless migration? Has anyone done this before and care to share the dos and don'ts, tips and tricks? - I don't want to "transfer" my domain hosting from Network Solutions to SS because I worry some years down the line I'll have to move web hosting, and it will be a pain or may not even be possible to get my domain name out. Is my worry valid? - Lastly an unrelated question - do we have to get the $18 business plan in order to use CSS?! Really? Thanks in advance and I hope I will get help here.

I am currently using Squarespace email but I find the lack of audience segmentation and automated email flows frustrating.   17. Several times customer have mistyped an incorrect email address during checkout. I know you can type in a new address in "Email Notifications", and have their receipt sent to the correct address. However, for marketing purposes, I would like to permanently correct their email address in the order record (so I can send them marketing emails later down the line). Is there really no place to update customer / order records??

I purchased an annual Business site through Squarespace, created a new domain through Squarespace, and signed up for G Suite through Squarespace, which is the Basic plan by default. I thought I'd be able to upgrade to the Business Plan with G Suite, but it won't let me. I attached a picture of the screen I get, the last one advising to contact SS. Long story short, I want to upgrade, but I like having everything as connected as possible (for my ease), but I'd also like to earn a free year. I have no information or data to lose, so I'd be okay with deleting and starting over, I'm just nervous to delete something I don't realize I need. My website hasn't been published yet, I was hoping to get things situated before doing that, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.   23. Hi, I have erroneously deleted one of my Gsuite users (He already used mail and Drive storage). Then I have added the user again as new user with the same name and same recovery email adress. But I have seen that the shared content in Google Drive is gone now. I tried the recovery on GSuite, but no result. The user did not yet fully active the new user account (Gsuite says "Active (Added recently" and "Hasn´t signed in"), and Data 0.0 GB. What is the best way to get the data (Drive, Gmail) back?
