Hello, I would like to create a (newsletter subscription) pop-up where visitors type their email and in response receive an email with access (in the form of a link) to a certain page on my website. The purpose of the popup is to let potential customers access to specific content I publish for corona-time. I make it available for them as a free content, but would like them to subscribe first. I thought about using the newsletter popup for that, but that means that I need to customise the post-newsletter-subscription (verification) email. Is that possible? otherwise how would you suggest that I do that in one step? Thanks in advance! Add file or drop files here

How can we remove the UNDERLINE styling on hyperlinks? All we can see is the ability to change the color, but we don't want every link underlined. There has to be a way to do this in the editor, yeah? Or is there somewhere I can get to the CSS? Thanks, andrew
  5. Hey guys, I'm trying to move the "Sign up" newsletter button more to the left, as well as the "Email address" box that's next to it. I've attached a screenshot for preview.   6. Hello, Does anyone know how I can add a number of days to the order submitted date in the email notifications customer will receive? For instance, If order date is on March 15, 2020 and I would like to add 5 days, it will display March 20, 2020 to the customer. I tried: {order.submittedOn|date %B %e, %Y} + days(5) But it doesnt seem work Thanks

  8. Hey everyone, I ran into a quick issue today that I am looking for a solution to, looking for any input. I have a form, which sends an email to my gmail. By default forms have a subject line. However when two customers put in the same subject gmail treats them as a conversation. I can turn off conversations, but they're awesome. What I would like is any way to control the subject line. It could be Contacts Us 03/11/2020 1:43:22 for all I care, it just needs to be unique. Has anyone come across this before? Thanks for looking!

I was wondering if there's a way to attach a pdf file (in my case, the invoice of the product I've sold, so it's a file which is different for every customer of course) when marking an order "Fulfilled" from Pending. I've tried to add an html "download file" code to the Fulfilled Email HTML box, but of course you can insert only one download link, which is not what I need for the orders.   12. Hi Guys, I'm an artist and would like to offer personalized e-cards with corresponding mp3 digital downloads of original music. I understand that it is not possible to offer variants of digital items, so I will need to make each a unique product. I believe I can create the products and set up the form for personalization without an issue. However, I am wondering if it's possible to implement my vision for delivery. After a person selects, personalizes and purchases an image/music combo, I would like the recipient to get an email with a standard subject ('A gift for you!'). The body of the email should display the image, the personalized message, and a link to the mp3 download. Is this possible? Any help would be appreciated!

I know I can download a CSV of transactions from the Donation section in the home menu but they want actual copies of the emails that go out to donors.

All of the products on the online store are for pick-ups only I know that for service products the auto generated tag {.section hasServiceProduct} will hide the shipping information, is there a way to override the rules by inserting this manually?

  17. Hey everyone - I've been having this problem for a while now. I've entered custom settings to point my domain (greencoconutdigital.com) to a mail server hosted by a different company. However, I'm still not receiving any mail to the addresses that I have registered. After digging around a bit, it seems that the A record that I have registered is not actually appearing after proliferation. See here: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/greencoconutdigital.com The only IPs showing as A records are Squarespace's default IPs which are listed in the domain advanced settings and which I have not edited at all. The other custom records (MX and TXT for the spf record) are all showing with no problems. Based on this, I'm assuming that the problem is with the A record. There are no problems with the email hosting provider. They have double-checked my custom DNS entries and I also know some other customers of that provider who told me that their mail IP and mail subdomain were exactly the same as the ones the hosting provider specified to me. Their email accounts are working fine. I've double and triple checked all of the settings. My last resort to attempt to fix this was to remove all of the custom DNS settings and wait 72 hours for the change to proliferate (it did and all custom records for that domain were removed) then to reinput all of the custom settings and wait another 72 hours for those to proliferate. Unfortunately, this hasn't fixed the problem. Squarespace support don't seem to be able to help and I'm at a loss for what to try next. I'm including a copy of the DNS settings below and really hoping that someone is able to help me out with this. Unfortunately, my knowledge of this topic is fairly thin so I would be very grateful for any help, tips or fixes. Thank you in advance! Sam

  19. I need an Efax for my restaurant. Purchased the ability from Xfinity. I have a number but it requires an email. ... ... Being NOVICE, I allowed xfinity/Comcast to access my email associated with the domain. Ever since then I was unable to use the email to receive anything (daemon errors). -I have since cleared their activity on the account and recovered it's functionality. Before reaching out to them again- Question- Will I lose functionality of email address if I connect Efax?? (assuming they had made an error) OR is there a better way?
  20. I want to segment my email lists by audience. I have set up a simple 'voting' feature with links. In my email, when they click on a link, I can see what they clicked in Google Analytics because of URL parameters. For example, `http://example.com?audience=beginner`. The Problem It seems that I have no way to trace the email back. In Squarespace I can see the link they clicked, but the parameters are stripped from the link. I thought about maybe including their email in a parameter, but that feature doesn't seem to be included. Advice to solve this problem is greatly appreciated.
  21. Hi, Hoping someone can assist as I am new to Squarespace. I currently have a domain registered with GoDaddy but is currently pointing to a web hosting site (via nameservers), called SiteA, which is a Wordpress site. Attached to this web hosting site, i.e. SiteA - I have MS Office 365 setup for all the emails against my domain. I have now redone my site but using Squarespace, using my existing domain, for example: mydoamin.com My questions are as follows: 1) What is required for me, so that my domain , which is registered with GoDaddy, instead now points to my new Squarespace website and not my existing SiteA website? 2) I assume I need to point the nameservers at GoDaddy, to instead point to Squarespace nameservers/my website - if so, what is required here? Squarespace nameservers? 3) With Office 365 residing within SiteA config, how do I access and instead use Squarespace to handle all my Office 365 emails, i.e.: a) where in Squarespace can I setup DNS records for Office 365? b) where do I setup TXT, MX and CNAME records inorder for Squarespace to work with Office 365? Would really appreciate your help with above queries. Thanks.

  23. I'd like to add a pop up on my website that invites visitors to download a how-to PDF, then, using the email address they enter I'll begin an email drip campaign. I see Squarespace has all the tools I need but I'm not sure the best practices I should use to do this effectively... or maybe I should separate this and use Mailchimp instead? Here's a bullet list of what I want to do: - create a pop up that says, "hey there! sign up and download this helpful resource that'll solve your problems!" - once they add their email address a PDF is sent to them (it's the resource I mentioned in the popup) - In the following weeks/months I'll send a weekly email with more details, offers, testimonials, etc.. also: - Ideally this same email signup form can be used on my website too. That way I can have the offer in a pop up and in the body of some pages. - Can I export email lists that are created within Squarespace? Assuming this is possible and reasonable within Squarespace, how do I best accomplish it? Do I use Mailing List or Newsletter? Should the free PDF be part of a Store and I just create links to it within my popup? Or is it best to do all of this through a third party like Mailchimp? I guess I'm looking for best practices for creating a popup which trades a visitor's email address for a helpful PDF and a number of emails over the next few months.   24. I am selling services, not physical products. How do I get rid of the shipping information on the automatic order confirmation email? I created all of my services, as services and not products and the shipping info is still popping up on the email order confirmation. Does anyone know how to get rid of this?
  25. I was wondering who sends what. Squarespace or Shipstation when it comes to sending emails about products being shipped/delivered. Also, when it comes to order confirmations, does Squarespace send that to customers or does Stripe/Paypal? Or will customers just be receiving two sets of emails?
