At the moment both my product and service is receiving the same confirmation email but I want to have 2 separate emails so that when a service is purchased they're able to receive the location and time for the event in the confirmation email. I've spoken to Squarespace via their live chat and they've told me its possible with code injections but I have no idea on how that works, so I was wondering if anyone could help me please!

Can we do this using an {if has.DigitalProduct='IDIDIDID'} type thing? If not, what's the best way to achieve this. She's got ConvertKit but she's reluctant to pay for it.

  9. Hi! Is it possible to add more fields to a promotional pop up other than just email? I'd like to add a "name," "city," and "state" field (also to the footer). I tried adding a form with the lightbox option, but when I tested it, the contact wouldn't show up in mailchimp (waited 30 minutes). At the moment it comes from no-reply@squarespace (I definitely don't want that) Second the email is currently sending confirm subscription and I want it to read as confirm email.   11. Hello, I just set up my automated emails in the "customer notifications" tab of my Squarespace website. I would like to change the display name when a customer receives an email from me. When they receive an email it appears as image one below. I went into my gmail account and changed the display name so it looks like image two. However, it doesn't change when squarespace sends an automated email. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!
  12. had a CLEAN list of 1400 emails and Squarespace import wouldn't allow it. I split into smaller lists of 333 each and IT WORKED! hope this helps yoU!

Opt-in for automated welcome email works perfectly if sign up comes from desktop, but Confirm your subscription from no-reply@squarespace.com upon signing up to clients opt-in leads to 404 page when you click 'confirm subscription'.   15. Site URL: http://www.browologylabs.com Hi, So my phone has night mode enabled, which basically makes the screens mostly have a black background on all apps. I noticed when I send an email using the email templates on squarespace to my phone without night mode enabled everything is fine. Once nightmode is enabled the background colours change to Brown (they are meant to be pink). Does anyone know if there is a setting to prevent this or is this just something that was not accounted for by squarespace? Regards
  16. Hi, i’d like to know if there is a way to change the sender and subject lines from when customers submit forms. Right now all submissions show ‘Squarespace’ as sender and ‘Form Submission - xxx’ as Subject. is there anyway to change this? I’m willing to even pay for a third-party solution but I cannot find any. Thanks in advance for your replies.
  17. Hey guys, I'm trying to move the "Sign up" newsletter button more to the left, as well as the "Email address" box that's next to it. I've attached a screenshot for preview.   19. Site URL: http://www.apadc.com Hi All, I'm in the process of migrating our emails from myemma to Squarespace. We've been having a problem with myemma opting people out of getting emails. (I've verified with the members that they didn't opt out themselves.) I've been trying to get as clean a list as possible so I've been asking people to subscribe from the website. Those email addresses are going into a 'default' list. We need to maintain several lists, some of which has names that are already in the 'default' folder. If I add them via a CSV dump, and delete them from the default list, will Squarespace remember that they opted-in? What is best practices for moving people from the default list (which is kind of a dumping ground for everyone) into more specific lists? Thank you and I appreciate any help.   20. I'm really lost for what to do here, and this is happening with several examples of email lists in csv format. I am trying to import a CSV of email signups that were people who came directly to a landing page and entered their information in order to receive ticket presale notifications. All of the emails are valid (I even recognize a handful of them) and are 100% voluntary signups of people who engage with our business. Additionally, there are a few I am importing from venues we work with. They are lists on which people opted into marketing communications. As for the quality of these email addresses, they MUST be real and valid and properly formatted - these are emails the customer used to receive order confirmations and tickets in order to attend an event. So in all of these cases, I get that error message, which is making me entirely regret migrating from MailChimp to SquareSpace for this part of our business. I get that spam and quality of email lists are a thing, I just can't think of a better example than voluntary signups by people who are clearly real individuals? I need a rather urgent resolution on this or else I will have to go back to MailChimp, so any help is appreciated!

(Domain has been transferred from WP to SS) Years ago I built my website using WordPress . com since it was cheap and simple. A few months ago, I purchased my GSuite email account through WordPress using my WordPress domain. Recently, I decided that I wanted to put more effort into my website and made the switch to Squarespace (LOVE IT) and I transferred my domain from WordPress to Squarespace easily. I cancelled my WordPress plan so it is now "domain . wordpress . com" but want to shut down my WordPress account all together. Since I purchased my G Suite through them, I can't do that and Im essentially paying an extra $6 a month for the email through them and by having the Squarespace plan that allows for a G Suite account. I just want to have my website and email all in one place and on one bill. I'm hoping there is a way to keep my G Suite as it is so I don't lose any info on it or have to set it up all over again but move it to Squarespace where my domain now is. Is there any way to do that?

Do i have to use this G suite through google? or can i just start using the email manually setup through my domain? If so where do I find the setting to put in my email app?

I can view the recent sales in the Squarespace editor, but getting the emails would make my life a whole lot easier. This has been happening since around the start of May and I'm at the end of my rope! A month or two ago I had to edit my domain's MX records to make email work with G-Suite so my employees could message each other. Could that be impacting it? I still receive administrative emails from Squarespace, like when I change the email that's supposed to receive the commerce notifications, but nothing else otherwise. For reference, my domain is managed through a third-party, which is why I had to edit the MX records for G-Suite manually. I'm fairly tech-savvy, I just don't know where exactly the problem is! My guess is Squarespace, since everything else works fine with my current email setup, I'm just not getting the commerce emails I would like. Any help or suggestions would be very appreciated!
