  5. Hi, does anyone know how to reduce the width of a dropdown header menu (from a Folder) in 7.1.? I am building a multi-lingual website, and the menu looks quite odd being significantly wider than the options (see screenshot). Any help would be great!
  6. Hi there, I was wondering can anyone help me with adjusting the width of the dropdown menu? In addition, how can I adjust to make the background of the dropdown menu transparent/different color? I've tried research and finding on my own but I can't find anything! Currently I'm on version 7.1 so there isn't a specific template i think. My website isn't full done yet, but here it is www.lacylashes.com Here is what I mean, I have attached a photo Thanks!
  7. Hello, I started off with the Bedford template. On the 'ABOUT' tab on the navigation bar, I have a dropdown side bar with links to 4 different pages: 'OUR PRINCIPLES' / 'OUR PROCESS' / 'OUR EXPERIENCE' / 'COLLABORATION'. When viewing the sidebar / dropdown on either desktop or tablet, the sidebar spacing is centered perfectly fine. But when you view on a mobile device, the links are off center (text is much closer to the top of the surrounding box than the bottom). See attached screen shot from a phone, which highlights the issue. Greatly appreciate if anyone could help me out with this query: My website is https://www.candelastudio.co.uk/ Thanks - Candela Studio
  8. It's possible I'm overlooking something totally obvious, but I'm trying to figure out the CSS to create an in-page dropdown menu that someone would click on and have the option to click on links to multiple other pages or files. I don't just want a standard button that links to one thing. I'm looking to create something like pictured in this image: Please help! Thanks!
  9. Hi, I need to change the drop down color variation font on my shop page. What is custom code for this? Thank you
  10. On my product page the variant dropdowns are plain ugly rectangles. Is there a way to make them look nicer/more professional? Thanks!
  11. I'm not a coder.... I figured out how to make an accordion style dropdown on my page. Can anyone tell me what to add to this to make it look more like a "button?" Right now the dropdown header is just text so people cant really tell its a dropdown... ### +<span style="color:navy">COSTS AND HOW DO WE SIGN UP? 12. I am trying to achieve a product page similar to the one here: https://drewdoggett.com/shop/titans He is using woocommerce for his cart (I looked at the source code). I would like to achieve three things which he is doing: (1) A Visual Product Variant selection; (2) Product Image updates with variant selection; and (3) Product Variants show/hide and are selectable/not selectable based on other variants previously chosen. I know for (1) there is this plugin for a visual variant from these guys: https://www.sqspthemes.com/plugins/product-swatch-variant I know for (2) there is a plugin for updating image based on variants: https://www.sqspthemes.com/plugins/change-product-image-with-variant I don't know how to achieve number three while also achieving the first two goals and/or whether these plugins would be able to "talk" to any code I write to achieve number three. The problem is I need certain drop-downs or product choices to reveal themselves based on other selections. I can't have each product variant always available because not all choices may be purchasable. For example, you cannot purchase a Plexiglass print with a frame or a mat but those options are still available to the customer because they are tied to white and black frame options. This means a customer has to sit there and work out what is actually available or not and choose the right combination to add something to the cart. Terrible UX. I also don't want to do a single drop-down with a list of every size and product variant available because it would be a list of over 50 options for each artwork. I have uploaded a screenshot snippit of my product list as a hint to how complex this gets... There are 11 variations per print size and 4 or 5 print sizes per artwork... And each variant depends on another variant selected... Is there another plug-in or code to help me get to where I want to go?
  13. Hi there, I am using a custom font on my website for the drop down menus at the top of the site but it just recently added a huge gap between the primary navigation titles and the drop down menus. Does anyone have an idea on how to reduce the padding between the pages within each drop down? My site is private for now but here is a screen shot of what it looks like. Ideally I would like to reduce the spacing between events and upcoming events and possibly between the other pages ie b/w upcoming events, venues, type of events and calendar. Thank you in advance! Also, this is the coding i used to get the font in place: @font-face { font-family: 'Estilo'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5d7be41b5cb7d218f8c093c0/t/5d8bc38b609d4674de42bad1/1569440651395/Estilo.otf'); } h1 {font-family: 'Estilo';} .Header-nav { font-family: 'estilo'; font-weight: 600; font-style: normal; font-size: 20px; letter-spacing: .0em; text-transform: normal; }
  14. Hello, As the categories / product list automatically sorts in alphabetical order, I have used CSS to rearrange this on a desktop size screen. However, when switching to mobile it turns the horizontal bar into a dropdown category menu. I am looking for a way to reorder the categories on this list but keeping the dropdown style. I want them in the order ALL, EVERYONE, BUNDLES & KITS, BABY, MAMA. Link is https://www.sisunaturals.com/shop I've also attached two screenshots of what it looks like on mobile when I attempt to reorder and what it looks like without
  15. Hi there, Our business has been threatened with a lawsuit unless we upgrade our website to W3C standards for ADA compliance. I have managed to make all of the fixes required thus far via my limited coding skills or work arounds. I also downloaded a great (and free!) accessibility widget that seems to offer a lot of nice functionality. However, the dropdown menus in my product pages still can not be read by an e-reader and I can not figure out how or where to add custom code to modify them. I have found the code required but despite having gone into developer mode, I don't see where to inject this code in order to modify the drop downs and make them compliant. Has anyone else done this or can they point me to the right place? Or is this simply not doable on the Squarespace platform? Any thoughts or advice are welcome.
  16. Hey, I'm building my site in 7.1 (mainly to get to grips with using it) and I've come across one problem I can't seem to fix. The dropdown navigation has white text & a white background(image attached) My header colour palette is yellow, whereas the main website has a white background, I'm wondering if this is part of the problem. It'd be greatly appreciated if anyone can find any workaround for me. Site is here: https://hexaflexagon-star-bh8p.squarespace.comPasword: 123123
