Site URL: https://www.thestorehousechicago.org/ Hello, I am having an issue with mapping the Stripe C-Name to my squarespace hosted custom domain, since I want to send Stripe emails from my domain name. Candidly, I am not even sure where value to insert into what. Does anyone know where to insert the Stripe Name and Value (first screenshot) into the SquareSpace DNS settings (second screenshot)? Or should I be using google since my email is from GSuite?

Good Evening all, I bought my domain name on 3rd Jan., from GoDaddy, and have been trying relentlessly to link it to my website here to no avail. I was on the phone, yesterday, with GoDaddy support team, and they seem to believe everything is in order fro their side; but still site not linking. Can someone please help ... what seems to be missing, or what am I overlooking? Thanks in advance,

Site URL: http://www.seapixphotography.com I would like to create a SS website for a photographer who website/gallery are presently on Smugmug. Because we don't want to change is web address we are considering Domain Mapping? Has anyone done this? Can we create a beautiful website on SS but have people click thru to see the gallery photos on his Smugmug page? Lastly, is there a way to do that does not include changing his web address (hence my thoughts around domain mapping - which I have never done).

I have a client who currently has their domain and emails (12 email addresses) on a private server. They want to transfer the domain into Squarespace and move the emails into GSuite. Has anyone ever done this or know where to find resources on this? They are very adamant about not wanting to lose email services or prior messages. They are currently using Outlook to access their email but want to move into Google. Thank you all in advance!

Site URL: http://www.effa.org.au/ Hi all. I am trying to link my third party domain hosted on Crazy Domains to my Squarespace. I have been following the step by step guides provided by Squarespace (https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205812378-Connecting-a-domain-to-your-Squarespace-site). I am getting confused with some of the required data. Currently, my site has different values listed to what the guide says it should in the DNS Settings. For example, my DNS panel lists the required data for the second CNAME as "ext.squarespace.com", yet on the guide in the link I

Site URL: http://www.jawbonebrewing.com Hi there, Hoping I can sanity check this with you guys before I make a big mistake! I am hoping to transfer an existing domain that I registered with Namecheap in 2019 over to Squarespace (I have a .com and co.uk domain - more on that later). I have pretty much built the site and looking to set a holding/parked page live while I finish it off. Before I do so, I'd like to add professional email addresses to my Namecheap account. It seems much cheaper than using G Suite through Squarespace (and the budget is really really tight for us rig

Site URL: https://www.%20anybodysautos.squarespace.com My website is going to showcase a gallery of featured vehicles from local car dealerships. What happens if the dealer sells that vehicle and takes down their product page? I'm betting that they don't actually delete those pages, but I can't count on them having their own redirect. Is there some kind of code that I can use on my website to avoid a 404 error when my link is about to take a viewer to my client's deleted page? Ideally, a viewer would click on a gallery image on my website, and if it's about to go to a deleted page

Site URL: http://www.naturesetude.com Ok, I have build my replacement site on SquareSpace and I am ready to transfer my domain. So, to be clear, I purchased the domain through Network Solutions and they maintain were the DNS is pointing and I renew my domain names through them. My current site is hosted by InMotion Hosting. So my view of things is that my web site will not be hosted by SquareSpace and I need to point the DNS to Squarespace and need a Name Server names (NS1 & NS2) which I cannot find anywhere on Squarespace's help text. However, I get the impression that Squarespace is th

Site URL: http://www.elbpapercutting.com All, I've searched for quite some time and I'm having trouble finding what the difference would be between these two. Hoping somebody can break it down easily. I have http://www.elbpapercutting.com connected to https://www.birdmafia.com, so it goes to the homepage. I found that my domain registrar allows domain forwarding, so I'd like it to go to a specific page. https://www.birdmafia.com/elb/process Do I need to disconnect the domain first, then go to my domain registrar and do the forwarding, or will it just not work at all

All, along with the integration of GloriaFood capability to my website I/somehow the domain got transfered from the underlying squarespace site to an external website offered by GloriaFood. I was of the estimation I can change this setting within the domain settings of my squarespace account but other than I can see the external domain (www.la-perla-nera.org) as well as the internal/integrated squarespace website I don't find any setting where I can adjust the current setup. Somebody around who can give me some advice where I can change it? Thanks in advance, Marc

Site URL: http://www.imagined-worlds.net I'm helping a client with an existing squarespace site, which is live but needs updating. They have a GoDaddy Domain name but the existing records say that they are deprecated and it's not the full set of CNAME and a records that I'm used to setting up for squarespace sites (only this one: www CNAME www.squarespace6.com Deprecated and 1 A Record) It's also not a secure connection and I can't seem to apply an SSL and GoDaddy wants money for that, so I think I need to update this but I don't wan

I have two sites on squarespace and both are live. I want to keep (Site+Domain B) and redirect (Site+Domain A) to (Site+Domain B). Important here is that several pages on (site+domain A) are ranking well, so I want to redirect on a page by page level. I'm an SEO and have done several site migrations in the past, but all on WordPress. With no access to server (.htaccess, etc.) on SquareSpace, I'm getting mixed answers on how to properly configure this. I spoke to SquareSpace help chat and got an answer that made zero sense. Has anyone done this that can confirm how to handle it?

I have a site that is happily not published and password protected. I want a copy of that site, but a separate landing page, with many pages deleted, and published and not password protected. I thought I obtained and verified the second domain, but when I go to /config/ the URL seems to be my original site and not the copy. I don't want to delete many pages only to find that I have altered the original??

Hi, Hoping someone can assist as I am new to Squarespace. I currently have a domain registered with GoDaddy but is currently pointing to a web hosting site (via nameservers), called SiteA, which is a Wordpress site. Attached to this web hosting site, i.e. SiteA - I have MS Office 365 setup for all the emails against my domain. I have now redone my site but using Squarespace, using my existing domain, for example: mydoamin.com My questions are as follows: 1) What is required for me, so that my domain , which is registered with GoDaddy, instead now points to my new Squar

mapping incoming domain traffic to a specific landing page
Cammerjam posted a question in Coding and Customization
I am wanting to map traffic from an incoming domain to a specific domain. Currently all traffic from another service provider is being sent to my domain on SquareSpace. (this was done by following the Squarespace directions on "Connecting a domain to your Squarespace site".) It is currently landing on my home page. I would like this traffic to land on a specific page. Is there a way to make this happen? Example: I have 2 domains. 1. Cookies.com 2. Chipcookies.com Under the "Cookies" domain I have a landing page that is called "chocolatechipcookies". Curre -
I recently pointed my 1&1 registered domain, masonsmn.com, away from justhost where I had a wordpress site built toward my new site/removals constructed using squarespace. I would like to view a few pages of the old site as they were previously (i.e. I messed up. In hindsight a few screenshots then would have been a good idea). Does anyone know how I can access those wordpress pages at this point? Thanks,

Hi everyone! I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I have my domain with SiteGround (I purchased it this week, and I believe there is a 60-day lock on transfers). I do not have a hosting plan, which means they do not provide access to DNS settings. Is there an alternate way of connecting my domain to SquareSpace? Thank you in advance for your help. Andre Costa
