  1. Site URL: https://www.sarahbucklandcoaching.com/sfsa Hi! Password is: sbc (this section is at the bottom) Using flexbox for the 3 boxes here, but is it possible to make the buttons align to the center of the bottom border of the box? Like in this image: Thanks
  2. Site URL: https://www.nutrilee.nl/ Hi guys, A couple of weeks ago I noticed that the thumbnail images in my recipe carousel (on my home page) are larger than the ones in my blog carousel. The content width of both carousels are L. So when I change the recipe carousel to content width M, then it is smaller than the other carousel. Is there something I can do, maybe with CSS to make the recipe carousel the same size as the blog carousel? Or are the image sizes too large maybe? Thanks! - Kimmylee
  3. Site URL: https://beholdofficial.com Hi there, can anyone help me make the header to be transparent with the product listings starting from the top of the page instead of after the header? I want it to be the same for mobile too. Thanks in advanced! FROM THIS (Desktop): TO THIS (Desktop): For mobile, from this: To this:
  4. Site URL: https://www.livewireradio.org/events2 We're getting back to Live Events and I'm working on adding an events page to our site. I'd love to remove the white date blocks that appear over the thumbnail images in event summary blocks. Password for this test page is 1234test
  5. Site URL: https://www.thegarden.life/ Hello! I'm looking for some constructive feedback on a new site for a client :https://www.thegarden.life/ This is the 5th Squarespace site I've built, but definitely the most complex. I'm hoping to grow my Squarespace skills and my own design business. Thank you!
  6. Site URL: https://www.signify.ai Hello, and apologies indeed for asking a dumb question in the wrong way. That's how I introduce myself to all forums. Since the introduction of Site Styles, we had an issue with Header Navigation Font on the blog section of our site, being black when the same nav font is white through the rest of the site. We have now fixed that, however, nobody can figure out how to turn the 'Contact Us' button on the far right of the navigation links, from black to white. The problem only afflicts our blog pages, but it is driving me crazy. Does anyone have custom CSS to change header navigation button or even a Site Style fix for this? Normal pages, with white header font, social icons and contact button in the header: https://www.signify.ai/ https://www.signify.ai/insights Blog pages, with white header font, but a rogue black contact button: https://www.signify.ai/blog-feed/real-action-against-online-abuse https://www.signify.ai/blog-feed/trumpland-pt-4-life-after-trump Please help me if you can! Thank you Joe
  7. Site URL: http://www.jose-f.com Hi guys! I would like to all of my pages to be able to have a long vertical scroll like my buddies site linked below http://dhanadislam.com My site: http://www.jose-f.com How can I do this?
  8. Site URL: http://www.labelle-artistry.com Hello- I'm having some trouble with my split nav menu. I have to build in extra space on the right side of my logo to get the nav to look even, and on some devices it looks completely off. Can anyone help provide coding that will allow me to split the nav and maintain the block for the BOOK NOW button? Right now I have this in my custom CSS (not even sure if all of this is relevant). /*Make split navigation*/ .header-nav { position: absolute; top: 50px; bottom: 0; margin-top: 0!important; margin-left: 0px!important; } .header-nav-item:nth-of-type(4) { margin-right: 525px!important; } .header-title-logo a { z-index: 1000; position: relative; } header#header [href="/book"] { background: #084d68; color: white; padding: 10px; } nav.header-nav-list { align-items: center; } Thank you! Lindsay
  9. Site URL: https://www.cobbledstreetshop.co.uk Hello, I've asked for opinions a few months ago and was just wondering if people could review our website again as we are coming up the first 6 months milestone (only small but something!) and wondered if anything needs updating. Also, if anyone knows how to create a table for information like cookies, privacy notice etc. that would be great 🙂 Thanks!
  10. I want to move my ADD TO CART BUTTON next to the quantity button, right now they are stacked – mainly to reduce space on my website. Any ideas on what code to try?
  11. Site URL: https://www.mindovermatterzine.com/ I'm changing my site's fonts using Custom CSS but I can't seem to find how to change the metadata font (author, publishing date, categories, tags). I successfully changed the title, 'read more' link and excerpt fonts using the code below but I cant seem to find how to change the metadata fonts. This happened both for blog and summaries. Please help! Code that I currently use: h1.blog-title a { font-family: 'Romana Bold BT' !important; font-size: 20px; text-transform: uppercase; } b.blog-excerpt a { font-size: 12px !important; } time.summary-metadata-item.summary-metadata-item--date { font-family: 'Romana Bold BT' !important; } a.summary-title-link { font-family: 'Romana Bold BT' !important; } a.summary-read-more-link { font-family: 'Romana Bold BT' !important; } .blog-item-title h1.entry-title { font-family: 'Romana Bold BT' !important; }
  12. Site URL: https://daffodil-cardioid-etjj.squarespace.com/ Hey everyone, Tried to find a solution to this but couldn't get anything to work with custom CSS. Is there anyway to reduce the massive amount of white space between the header photo and the list? (Scribbled Section in capture) I don't have a background image there nor do I want one yet it leaves space for it. Any help would be appreciated.
  13. Site URL: https://alex-king.squarespace.com/ Hello, I would like some feedback on my squarespace site. I feel like I am currently missing something, maybe it is too dark, or navigation to others will be off? I have been looking and editing it for a while and need fresh eyes! All feedback will be appreciated, thank you! Password: Alex
  14. Site URL: https://www.carolynarcabascio.com Hi! I'm wondering if anyone can help with an issue I'm having on mobile specifically. I'm using the Flatiron template for my website https://www.carolynarcabascio.com There is a hover effect on the grid that's native to the template, which I managed to turn off with custom code: #grid .item.hovering .wrapper { opacity: 0 !important; } #grid .item a div.wrapper div.project-title h3 { visibility: hidden; font-size: 0; } But I have not had luck removing this completely from my website when viewed on mobile (there is a gray bar that appears beneath each grid item). Does anyone know how to remove it? Thanks!
  15. Site URL: https://aboutbeavers.squarespace.com Hi! I recently build a small portfolio website. It was important for me to always have a white website with black writing/menu. However, I saw my website on a friend's Android phone. And it turned out that (during the day!) the website was black. And also the burger menu was dark grey instead of black/white (depending of which page it is). I guess this is the dark mode that the browser enforces? Is there a code to prevent this from happening? On my iPhone there is always everything in white (see Screenshot) - even at night with system-wide dark mode. Best regards, Seeeeeg
  16. Site URL: https://www.calumbuilder.com/ Hi, There is a blank space off to the right side of the mobile version of my website. How do I remove it? Thanks! - Calum

  18. Site URL: https://www.night-manifesto.com/ PASSWORD : manifesto Hello, I have created a section with tabs - and a button so that when i click on it i display only one of the blocks of the section that is an embedded video player and this part works fine. Now what i'd like to do is to have medium sized section and when i click on the button the section would change its height to small so that it would match the video player's eight. And this for mobile too. So i've written this line of code to inject CSS with JQUERY $(aboutTabButton).click(function(){ $("#60ca1b5eefaefb2ac9e03f81").css({ ‘height’: ‘small’}) ; }); it doesn't work i've tried this other line and it doesn't work either if ($( "#galleryTab" ).hasClass('active-tab')) { $("##60ca1b5eefaefb2ac9e03f81").css({ ‘height’: ‘small’}); else { $("##60ca1b5eefaefb2ac9e03f81").css({ ‘height’: ‘medium’}); } I have tried numeric value for the height too and it didn't work either. Here is the entire script : <script> $(function(){ let galleryTab = '#block-d378e56b7083e4d48c24'; let aboutTab = '#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1625405642353_6184'; let contactTab = '#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1625405642353_6708'; let codeTab = '#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1625406080854_3785'; let galleryTabButton = '#gallery-tab'; let aboutTabButton = '#about-tab'; let contactTabButton = '#contact-tab'; /*Initiate the Tabs*/ $(aboutTab).addClass('non-active-tab'); $(galleryTab).addClass('active-tab'); /*Add Actions to Each Button*/ $(galleryTabButton).click(function(){ $(galleryTab).addClass('active-tab').removeClass('non-active-tab'); $(aboutTab).add(contactTab).add(codeTab).addClass('non-active-tab').removeClass('active-tab'); }); $(aboutTabButton).click(function(){ $(aboutTab).addClass('active-tab').removeClass('non-active-tab'); $(galleryTab).add(contactTab).add(codeTab).addClass('non-active-tab').removeClass('active-tab'); }); /* $(aboutTabButton).click(function(){ $("#60ca1b5eefaefb2ac9e03f81").css({ ‘height’: ‘small’ }) ; }); */ $(contactTabButton).click(function(){ $(contactTab).addClass('active-tab').removeClass('non-active-tab'); $(aboutTab).add(galleryTab).addClass('non-active-tab').removeClass('active-tab'); }); /* if ($( "#galleryTab" ).hasClass('active-tab')) { $("##60ca1b5eefaefb2ac9e03f81").css({ ‘height’: ‘small’}); else { $("##60ca1b5eefaefb2ac9e03f81").css({ ‘height’: ‘medium’}); } */ }); </script> and i've also tried this in the CSS aboutTab.active-tab{ [data-section-id="60df82096aa9df24b6d23124"] { min-height: unset !important; ; } @media screen and (max-width:767px) { [data-section-id="abcxyz"] { min-height: unset !important; height: 250px !important; } } THIS IS FOR THE SECTION CALLED CHAPTER ONE FOR NOW BUT IT WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL CHAPTERS.
  19. Site URL: http://www.peaceofmindediting.com Hello, friends. I understand that there are slight differences in layout and colour from desktop to mobile devices, but I am having a VERY hard time trying to figure out why my background colour appears as very dark grey (black, even) on mobile, and very light grey (as intended) on desktop. It provides a completely different look that really messes things up. Also, on desktop, my top navigation header is transparent as intended, yet on mobile, there's that dark grey colour that I don't want. Any solutions? MANY thank yous in advance!
  20. I used Squarespace for years, but moved to Wordpress some time ago. Checking the pricing now I decided to look at moving back to Squarespace. Now, I am quite technical and have created multiple sites over the past 15 years (not to a highly technical level), but boy oh boy what on earth has happened??? I genuinely cannot work out how to amend much at all and the Site Styles is far from intuitive. It feels like everything is hidden and I can only presume that complete newbies who try to import from, for example, Wordpress will be completely lost. Such a shame.
  21. Site URL: https://tinycoastdigital.com/ Hi All, I put together a list of digital marketing resources. Topics covered include content strategy, landing pages, website traffic and more. Please feel free to check it out at https://pin.it/1dNuAZT. Hope it is helpful!
  22. Site URL: https://blackbird-bagpipe-r9gf.squarespace.com/ page url is currently https://blackbird-bagpipe-r9gf.squarespace.com/ Underneath the header, the text that says "it's pronounced rasheed" I have tried and failed in this design endeavour. What I'm trying to do is get that text to be positioned much higher, much closer to the page title. I've looked in the spacing and font settings under 'Site Styles' but I can't find any options that can adjust the spacing in just this single instance. Thank you very much for any advice you can offer me. As a bonus, if it's possible, I'm hoping to style that font differently. The only way I found to do this was to set it as 'paragraph 1' which isn't in use anywhere else on the site, and then change the global font size for 'paragraph 1'. This fix isn't ideal because it changes the whole global setting, and also I wasn't able to increase the letter spacing here, I just did a botch by adding more spaces in between the characters.
  23. Site URL: https://www.peachsnapsphotography.co.uk HI All, on my website I have both portrait and landscape pictures. the website automatically cuts the pictures depending on what I choose but I want to upload both landscape and portrait without the images being cut or cropped. is there a way to do this?? you can see the example on my shop where there are landscape pictures cropped: https://www.peachsnapsphotography.co.uk Thanks George
  24. I have my navigation bar titles stacking like apparently a lot of people. I tried the code provided by tuanphan (cf below) and it worked fine but when I navigate I see the previous display before it returns to the new one. The second issue is that the "Work with me" button is so pushed on the right side that it is hidden. Can anyone help to change the position of the button to be completely visible? my url is https://bullfrog-collie-jwf9.squarespace.com/config/design /* nav one line */ .header-title-nav-wrapper { flex: 0 0 90% !important; }
  25. Site URL: http://contenti.xyz/ Hey there, Tried Googling but couldn't seem to figure this out. Small detail but would appreciate help on this! Basically, trying to change the color of just one word in my banner headline text (bolded word in the screenshot: "Evergreen"). But I think I'm doing something wrong because after following custom CSS, I can't get the style down for this particular piece of text block - the one in the banner/title text. Tried messing with some different CSS codes but couldn't target this particular section. Am I missing something? How would I change the color of one word ("Evergreen") so that it's green? Help would be highly appreciated! Let me know if you need anything else too. Thanks in advance!
