  2. Working here: https://lettuce-buttercup-sers.squarespace.com/ (password arthur) I'd like to change the background of the area where the navigation lives. See screenshot mockup. Is this possible and/or is there any creative work around that anyone can think of? Or maybe a different template?
  3. Hi Is there any way to be able to edit a product using my own javascript so that the product image (or preview) changes according to the users choices, and then send that data to the checkout form fields. I hope that makes sense. Basically, I want to sell personalised images. But I want the user to be able to choose all the different parts of the image (and colours). As they are doing this, I want the preview to update automatically with their choices. Then, when they click on the checkout button, I would like all the personalised data to pre populate the correct field in the checkout. Thank you in advance for any help with this
  4. Hi there, I'm using the Brine template, and I'm looking to move the mobile sign in from on the page (top-left, top-center, top-right or bottom-left, bottom center, bottom-right) into the navigation. Is there a way to do this? Not sure if I NEED custom code for this, just didn't know if there was an existing workaround for this. The reason I want to do this is because it shows up a little weird on iPhone X, XS, etc. with the larger screen size. I'd rather just have it in the mobile navigation–seems more intuitive anyway. Thanks in advance!
  5. Hello everybody I would like to place several slideshows one below the other. (See attachement). The individual containers should be able to include images, scroll text and an embeded sound cloud links. There should be space for two slideshows below in the Mobileview. I use the momentum template.
  6. Hi everyone! Hopefully you guys can help my out with this problem: I have a wine business with different kind of quantity options, packaging options and combination options. For several hours I tried to apply this systeem on my shop, but I don't get it right... Because of the prices, we don't want to sell a single wine but a minimum of 6, 12 , 18 etc. Example: Customer Peter* wants to buy 12 bottles of red wine. Currently *Peter would see on the cart-icon a 1. When *Peter wants to check-out, he sees a quantity of 1 and not 12. This may be confusing for the customers. Is it possible to change the quantity button on the product page to 6,12,18 instead of 1,2,3? And is it possible to change the quantity button on the checkout-page? Kind regards, Aaron
  7. Hi, all. Please, be patient, today is my first day with Squarespace. How do I customize the colors on both the x and y axis on a bar chart? Currently, they are light gray, and very hard to see with the dark green background. Thanks, in advance Dana
  8. Hi there, I would like to use a custom font style on specific buttons and headers. I have input the css for the font location but need to know next steps. Not sure of the class names for buttons or two headers (see image) See CSS below: //ADDING myfriend FONT// @font-face { font-family: 'myfriend'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5dbb8e5c55a40158cc4627af/t/5e0e9aead2e16f330f9816b1/1578015466865/myfriend.ttf'); }
  9. Hello, I have three words in my banner heading that I am separating with an "I" (I am using the letter as a vertical divider) . I am wanting to change the color of "I" (cyan) while keeping the other words the same color (white). Can anyone help with this? gazelle-oriole-p9y8.squarespace.com
  10. Hello! So I have a font that I made on my own that I want to integrate to my website. I've managed to go into the CSS and make it so almost everything uses the font. However, I can't seem to figure out why the font won't apply to my gallery titles or my shop item names (attached below where it says "music, books, comics, event posters, etc."). I'm currently using a font that is similar to mine but ideally I'd like everything on my site to be my font. Side note, I am not very familiar with coding as I've just been copy/pasting codes I've found online but I will do my best to comprehend!
  11. Hi All, I am trying to allow my users to purchase >1 of an item, each of which requires custom text. The Custom Product Form seems ideal, but it only works if all the messages are the same. Usecase: I volunteer for a non-profit children's theater program. One of the ways we raise money is by selling "Good Luck Messages" where a friend, parent, or grandparent can send good wishes, funny messages, etc. Most of the time, the people buy more than one message. I'd like to set it up so that the customer can select their quantity, then get that number of fields for the messages. Thank you for your advice!
  12. Hi, I was hoping that someone here could help me 😁 I would like to customize my newsletter block so that it ONLY requires "First Name" and "Email" No need for Last name. Can that be hidden through some code? Any help is greatly appreciated! spiridonakou.com
  13. How to do make my product title font be the same font as H1, and price font be the same as H2?
  14. Hi! I'm trying to create a family tree that users can interact with (for ex. a user clicks on a certain image and a drop down of information appears). Anyone have any templates or ideas for inspiration of how I can build this? HTML is fine! Alternatively, I could use another program (like LucidChart) and embed it onto a page...? Thanks so much!
  15. I need to add custom font to the Titles on my Gallery images using Wexley Template. Custom font added successfully vis css. www.carlauger.com/portfolio
  16. Can I have two different social links blocks in different places on my site? So far if I change one, it changes all of them across the site. I want it so that the footer always has facebook, twitter, and instagram, while my 'music' page has spotify, apple music, youtube, and soundcloud. Here's how it looks now:https://www.airshipcaravan.com/music
  17. On my website I'm trying to use custom css to enable sticky product descriptions on desktop only, but i keep running into scaling issues. It works well on my full screen 1080p monitor, but on 4k monitors part of the description is always cut off. This happens when adjusting the size of the browser window past a certain width as well. My website is www.thomas-stokes.com (the scaling issue normally happens on the product pages for my prints https://www.thomas-stokes.com/shop/kaleidoscope-fine-art-print i'm assuming that's because of the long descriptions too). Here is the code that I code up with (I've currently removed it from my site for now because it was causing issues for my customers): .tweak-product-item-details-alignment-left .ProductItem-details { text-align: left; position: fixed; margin-left: 0px; } .tweak-product-item-details-alignment-left .ProductItem-details { text-align: left; position: fixed; margin-left: 0px; } @media all and (min-width:0px) and (max-width: 1024px) { .tweak-product-item-details-alignment-left .ProductItem-details { text-align: left; position: relative; margin-left: 0px; } } @media all and (min-width:2560px) and (max-width: 3840px) { .tweak-product-item-details-alignment-left .ProductItem-details { text-align: left; position: relative; margin-left: 0px; } } Two examples of what I am trying to achieve are: https://www.ssense.com/en-us/men/product/dr-martens/black-1461-mono-derbys/3986101 (or any of the product pages on the website) and https://cutbykira.com/collections/blu-jackets/products/dutch-camo-rsma-jacket (or any of the product pages on the website). Notice how when you adjust the size of the windows, the website scales properly while maintaining the sticky product descriptions. I'm assuming what I would need to have to do with css is to keep the whole left side of the product page (from the Title to the Add to Cart button scaled to all be visible on screen when the browser is past a certain width, but i have no idea how to do that. If anybody can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.
  18. Hi All, I am trying to create a cover page that has two images side by side, with click through links to two different sections of my website. I have tried just creating a blank page and adding images but i really want the two images to fill the screen rather than just taking up the standard squarespace block in the middle. It seems a Cover Page is the way to go but all of the layouts have either one large image, half and half image and text, or a large grid of images! What can i do?
  19. Hi there, Can anyone help me with a code injection for wells gallery pages that can alter the appearance of the cursor when hovering over the left, right and top of the image in the gallery? Currently when hovering over those areas the cursor changes to either left or right arrows to advance to the next image or up to go to thumbnails but I'd like to alter the appearance of those arrows to a custom version for a clients portfolio. Is there a way of doing this in the custom css please?
  20. Hey guys, I'm looking to create page fade/animation with text on individual pages of our site. Here is an example of what I'm trying to achieve. https://www.2xelliott.co.uk/project/virgin-atlantic/ I like how the page holds with an introduction and then fades away. I've figured out a way of doing it as a background-image but would like to have proper text for SEO. This is as far as I've got, clearly I'm struggling with targeting the type which sits the top right corner. - https://newcenturydesign.co.uk/the-bristol-cheesemonger I would want different fades for individual pages, so will be adding the code into the advanced / page header section. Thanks in advance. George
  21. Hi, I've decided to update my site with custom fonts, but the fonts don't work on headings only <p>, and then I read the York template has "no <h> tag". Great! I've implemented it on another template just to make sure my fonts work correctly and they do. So any ideas on how I get around this using York or should I just cut my losses and change to a template that has H tags?
  22. hola, how do i insert a custom font style with a grey background, like on my screenshot? If i use the squarespace "text-tool" i just can chose the headline-presets, and if i pick one, the whole row changes into that headline font. So im not even able to realize the text design like its on my screenshot, then i'd like to have a grey background for each textbox, preferably a overlaying effect like on the screenshot. How do i realize this? Is there a right code, that i can put in the "squarespace code box" for my specific site? Im so sorry, but coding is my weakness, im hoping someone can help me! Live page: denniseming.de/vita (this is my current site and i used svg images to realize the look, but its not the best and cleanest way and the font size is different to the other sites, its not a good corporate design :() Thank you very much!!
  23. Hi there, Hoping someone has insight as to how I can change the font on my buttons for the styling of my site. I have updated the CSS for my h1, h2, h3 and body, but am hoping to have the button font match my h2. These are custom fonts that I have uploaded. I can't seem to locate how I talk about buttons in CSS.....
  24. Hi, I'm trying to create a rollover fade effect on my welcome header banner here https://cheetah-lemon-wxxb.squarespace.com/ The look I'm trying to recreate is just like this non-squarespace website http://harperandharley.com/, is there any way to achieve this look with custom css? I'm going for the same treatment on the text as well as the image. Any help is very much appreciated.
  25. I've been designing a very simple website for a client who works in the luxury transport business. While building the "Our Fleet" page, I displayed each image using the "Card" layout so that the image would display on the left and the description would align on the right. The client has requested that I add multiple images of the interior of the vehicles in the style of an image carousel but when I switch to the "Stack" layout I lose the text alignment next to the image. Is there a way to display multiple images within the "Card" layout with a left and right navigation to switch between images? Any help would be much appreciated! I've included a screen capture for reference.
