  1. Site URL: https://flugelhorn-orb-dtjx.squarespace.com/ Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me please. Is there any custom CSS code that would make the Instagram social block full width in the footer? I want it to touch the sides and the top of the footer boundary, if that makes sense? I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean, the top one is how it currently looks, and the bottom one I have mocked up to show how I want it to look. Thank you in advance.

  3. Site URL: https://www.cillianosiochain.com Hello, I have added the following code to my site successfully, which creates a badge on my site which in turn is a link to an external webpage. Currently, the webpage opens in the same tab however I would like it to open in a new tab and there is no toggle button to do this in the 'code' widget. 4. Hi Guys, this is my first post on this Forum so Hi everybody! I've built 5+ websites on the Squarespace platform as a Circle member and now I'm trying the new 7.1 system template. I've already asked to support for that but they suggested me to solve it with custom code. I need to add border all around the website, someone can help me with the CSS/HTML? I've found this code snippet on google but it doesn't work because the borders are shown only on the first part of the page and not all around the website... <head> <style> body { margin:0px; background-image: url(http://i.imgur.com/LhxKJpU.jpg); } .top, .left, .right, .bottom { display: block; position:absolute; width:100%; height:100%; } .top { border-top: 1em double #fff; top: 40px; z-index:100; } .left { border-left: 1em double #fff; left: 40px; z-index:200; } .right { border-right: 1em double #fff; right: 40px; z-index:300; } .bottom { border-bottom: 1em double #fff; bottom: 40px; z-index:400; } </style> </head> <body> <div class="top"></div> <div class="left"></div> <div class="right"></div> <div class="bottom"></div> </body> </html> Thanks to anyone who helps me!
  5. Site URL: https://flugelhorn-orb-dtjx.squarespace.com/ Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me please. I'm trying to change the button size/text in my image block, but I can't work out how to do it. I've tried making the text smaller, but that just changes the text size of the whole paragraph above the button as well. Is there any CSS that can single out that one button? All the other buttons in my site are set at 'medium' and look fine, I don't want to change those. I've attached 2 screenshots, the button that says 'view portfolio' is the one i want to change. The other button that says 'learn more' is the style/size that i want to match it to. I hope this makes sense, thanks in advance.

  7. I am using the Native template, and when I go from web view to mobile view, almost all of the white spacing along the top disappears. Are there any codes I can enter to create some white spacing up there? See photo below.
  8. I am trying to change the font of my tag line. I was able to change the font of my header and all of my other paragraphs/headings, just not the tagline. Hoping someone can help me out!
  9. Site URL: https://holisticbirthandyoga.squarespace.com/ Hi there, Wondering how I reduce the size of the top and bottom of my header on Degraw template? I'm able to do the top but not the bottom. The site URL is https://holisticbirthandyoga.squarespace.com/ and the password is 'mindbodyseva'. Here is my code: #header { margin-top: -10px !important; } Thanks!
  10. Site URL: https://holisticbirthandyoga.squarespace.com/ Hi there, I'm an amateur coder so I can't say for sure - but it seems like Squarespace's updated templates don't have collection ID's like they used to? I'm trying to change out the backgrounds on certain sections throughout the site i'm building for a client. The Custom CSS code i'm using isn't changing anything - can someone help? The template I'm using is DeGraw. The site URL is https://holisticbirthandyoga.squarespace.com/ and the password is 'mindbodyseva'. And here is my current code: div#yui_3_17_2_1_1582161363093_67 { background-image: url("https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e47144cdeb0101ed01307c5/t/5e4db9345e0c794068e4a3ab/1582152001491/Background_V1.jpg") } As a follow up question - Above I'm trying to switch the background to a whole new .jpg, but if someone knows how to code in transparent .pngs that lay over the default Squarespace background color, the code for that too would be very helpful. I feel like the background may have a chance of being more high res that way. Thanks so much for any help you can offer!

  12. Hi, I'm using custom CSS to add a colour overlay on images using the thread here. Everything works perfectly except the coloured box is leaving a strip of the image exposed at the top. Can anyone see what could be causing it? It happens on images of different proportions / sizes. Thanks a lot, any help would be much appreciated! Imogen

  14. Fellow Forum members, could you please help? On the homepage of this site https://www.amacmotorcycles.com/ I am trying to force the Index Gallery slide meta description to show on mobile. At present, only the slide meta content title displays. scroll down to: yui_3_17_2_1_15739990627838_448 my css attempt: @media (max-width : 640px) { .collection-type-index.design-slideshow .index-gallery .slide-meta .description { display: show; } } I tried adding !important; --no effect. Even if I enable the meta toggle in Site Styles, the description text does not display on mobile (however it does display on tablet and desktop sizes) when toggled on/off. Thanks for your help.
  15. The aim is to get text blocks slide in on scroll. I stumbled across this "CSS Animation Cheat Sheet" by Justin Aguilar that does exactly this. I've followed the steps and added the code in the required sections. Following is the code in the Header Section: <squarespace:script src="plugin.js" combo="true" /> <squarespace:script src="site.js" combo="true" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="www.justinaguilar.com/animations/css/animations.css" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.3/jquery.min.js"></script> Following code in the Footer (just before the /body tag) Section: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ $(window).scroll(function() { $('page-559a88fbe4b02af487910a44').each(function(){ var imagePos = $(this).offset().top; var topOfWindow = $(window).scrollTop(); if (imagePos < topOfWindow+400) { $(this).addClass("slideUp"); } }); }); </script> And following in the block that I want the animation to appear in: <div id="page-559a88fbe4b02af487910a44" class="slideUp"> The following CSS was added to the Custom CSS section: #page-559a88fbe4b02af487910a44{ visibility:hidden; } The above CSS in the Custom CSS seems to work as the text is hidden. However, the animation does not work on scroll. Any help in what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated.
  16. I am using the FIVE template and I managed to have a slideshow in place of the banner area by the use of excellent script from the following post Now I am getting extra vertical space between the logo/navigation section and the new banner area (which is actually just a gallery). Is there a way to reduce that space to the default spacing between the logo/navigation area and the banner? My website is www.cubicpixel.co You can compare the vertical space in the HOME page and HOME2 page.HOME uses normal banner area while HOME2 uses this custom solution to add slideshow in place of the banner. You can see that in HOME2 the space is visibly much larger. Is there a way to reduce such spacing? i.e. make the spacing just like HOME page?
  17. Hi thereI've loaded in some custom fonts to my site via css. The style I wish to use this font in is the text that overlays on the banner images at the top of each page in the template called Five.I understand that the other styles have names such as h1, h2 etc etc. What is the style name for the text overlay on banners called in the css? Thank you
  18. I know similar questions have been asked, but I haven’t found any answers yet. I’m using the Wexley template. All I want to do is give this gallery a couple lines of text between it and the navigation. Squarespace support’s answer was: Since you’re using a Gallery Page, you can’t insert extra content blocks. You could alternatively use a regular page for your gallery and then use Gallery Blocks and Text Blocks to accomplish a similar look to your home page, but you’ll lose the design aspects of the template specific Gallery Page. The only other way to accomplish this would be through CSS coding, which we don’t offer direct support for. You can try looking for some more guidance specific to your concern at answers&period;squarespace&period;com. So here I am. Any ideas?
