  1. Hi, I've used the carousel block gallery for my page, designed on Brine template. Even though the images have no links (clickthrough URL), the cursor changes to pointer on hover. I'd like to have the cursor to keep its default arrow mode, rather than changing to the hand pointer. Tried some codes I found online but they don't seem to work. The page is still private, but am hoping this image helps to illustrate the issue: Any help with custom CSS code to keep the cursor as an arrow would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
  2. Site URL: https://jackshugruedesign.com/work Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a solution for this issue I am having in regards to my Work page using the SUHAMA template. My Work page is a "Hover: Follow Cursor" layout, and so when you hover your cursor over a particular project, a thumbnail of the project appears. I am trying to achieve a more dynamic look with these thumbnails, having them be different shapes and sizes, yet each thumbnail as of now has a light grey box background that I would like to get rid of and replace with a transparent background. I created my thumbnails using Adobe Illustrator, and exported each file with a transparent background as a PNG. Yet, when uploaded to Squarespace this transparency is replaced by the light grey box- which I think is the art-board or composition background that the work was created on, even though it was exported with a transparent background, as the sizes look to be the same. To be more precise, I was wondering if there was anyway to have the thumbnail image have a transparent background when you hover your cursor over the project name. Thanks!

  4. Site URL: https://codepen.io/sarahwfox/pen/pNrYGb Hey all! I was wondering if it was possible to add custom cursors like this (see URL) to my website? I see some tutorials online for single images, but would something like this work as well? I haven’t done any JaavScript code injection into this squarespace website yet, and would be thankful for any tips and help! Thanks for your time!
  5. Site URL: https://reecedaniels.com Hello, I want a custom cursor for my website, really badly. But whenever I follow the instructions on other forums, or even if I straight up copy+paste someone's code, it just comes out like this: (see attached image). What's wrong with this? My code is: body, html { cursor: url(https://rs916.pbsrc.com/albums/ad9/sugarycandy/cursors/glitter.gif~c200), pointer; } Thank you! ~Reece
  6. I've successfully managed to use code injection in the header of my site to create a custom cursor (+ hover effect), but am wondering if there's anyway to now disable the custom cursor on the backend/edit mode. I think the cursor works great on the live site, but it's a bit cumbersome when actually editing the content, blog posts, etc. Any thoughts, or know if this is doable?
  7. Site URL: https://octagon-garlic-ejcr.squarespace.com/ Link : https://octagon-garlic-ejcr.squarespace.com/ Password : sonatine Hello friends, I'm almost done with my brand new website, but there are still a few things I would love to correct. 1/ So for each section, all the thumbnails (an actuall image gallery) are linked to my video projects. Problem is, people need to actually go to the video page to see the actual title. Is there a way I can make a hover effect on each thumnail pic so that when someone place the cursor on it, the title appears ? 2/ There's a slight issue with the spacing between thumbnails on the "fashion film" page. These are my main two issues before it's completed. I added two captures describing the two issues. Thanks a lot for your help, hopefully I can release my website pretty soon. Kinds regards
  8. Site URL: https://www.annafinocchiaro.com/event/dg570j6o0okxgjtglesujmvpfbk0ls Anyone have code to change cursor options in slideshow gallery for Beaumont template? I've attached a screenshot of my site (Anna Finocchiaro) with the unwanted cursors and another screenshot of an example of what I'm looking for.
  9. Site URL: https://mwejps3lrkma.squarespace.com Since adding an opacity effect to my Image Gallery Block image clickthrough links, the mouse cursor is going to the default arrow cursor as opposed to the hand/pointer . I've tried the following code to no avail; gallery-grid-item.has-clickthrough:hover { cursor:pointer !important; }
  10. I'm getting a syntax error message on line 15. #block-877a19ac084842a08f1b { background: #DEC1A6; opacity: 50%; padding: 20px; text-align: none; } #block-fb104f8c23dc8e2de3c0 { background: #DEC1A6; opacity: 50%; padding: 20px; text-align: none; } <style>A:hover{cursor: url("https://downloads.totallyfreecursors.com/cursor_files/unicorn.ani"), url("https://downloads.totallyfreecursors.com/thumbnails/unicorn.gif"), auto;}</style>
