  1. Hi, I want to make a logo of site header in the centre on mobile too but the template dosen't have any option to change Anyone knows how to change this? Many thanks in advance! Bom
  2. Is it possible to use CSS or other coding to turn on the ability for users to pinch-to-zoom on images in Lightbox view on mobile devices? (It would have to be the usual zoom in/out gestures, in Lightbox mode, on a Gallery Page.) I don't understand why Squarespace still doesn't allow this. Every other website and gallery maker I know of does it, as it's a hugely useful feature for photography and art given how small mobile screens are. Thank you!
  3. How do I change the shopping cart text on the empty shopping cart page? I added a custom font to the site for header 2 uses elsewhere, but apparently this capitalized and changed the "Shopping Cart" title also. I cannot figure out how to alter it in site styles. I don't need to change the font, I just would like it to be capitalized normally and not all caps. https://www.mbdesignsapparel.com/cart
  4. I have a client with a large portfolio of properties that I'd like to showcase.. but not in detail (no individual pages needed). Each simply needs a single image with title, category and a few have brief descriptions. I tried just doing a simple image gallery, but that doesn't allow me to show the images with all 3 levels of text beneath ... that was too simple. I set up a Portfolio, customized the cards (as shown) and am happy with the result, but can't figure out how to disable each item from being clickable (which brings you to a blank page). Is there a quick and easy way to turn a/linking OFF of these items? Or suggestions on another way of displaying these 'cards' for each property without them linking out to another page?
  5. Would like to upload my font that I've added Nexa, using CSS. I can't seem to get anything to respond to this command, not headers, paragraphs, or navigation. I'm using these codes: h1 {font-family: 'nexa-regular'; text-transform: capitalize; letter-spacing: .5px;} p {font-family: 'nexa-regular'; text-transform: capitalize; letter-spacing: .5px;} .main-nav a ('nexa-regular' !important; ) Is anyone able to help? thank you!
  6. I'd like to customize the way folders display on mobile (Bedford template) by manipulating CSS rather than switching to developer mode and changing the html. I want the folders to default display as expanded rather than users having to use the shitty + icon as a drawer drop down. OR If it's easier to manipulate the display style of the drop down icon I'd like it look/act the same way as the main mobile drop down nav with the 3 horizontal bars. Please help.
  7. Hi, So I have my nav bar centered, but I want a button on top of my nav bar that says contents and when clicked the nav bar becomes visible right below it. Code wise I was thinking the functionality be someone like this demo except it will display horizontal not vertical. I understand the code and everything I am little confused on how to exactly make it work with squarespace's built in nav bar already. Anyone have any idea how to maybe go about this? I included an image to help show how I kind of want it to look after one clicks conte button.Thank you!
  8. Hi there -- I have a client who would like some adjustment to her mobile view. She likes the index gallery grid for three images for desktop and tablet, but on mobile the stack creates a bad intro to the site. She asked for it to be three images on the same row for mobile too. I tried targeting the image gallery for a max width of 33% but that just reduces the image -- they stay in a stack. Any way to remove the stack for tablet view? I'm wondering if she won't like this solve for mobile. I'm wondering if there's a way to create a media query to change the index gallery layout from grid to slideshow just for screens at 640px. Anyone got a solve for this? Site is heatheretheridge.com/welcome and it's the first index. #home-gallery Thanks for looking. 🙂 Lacey
  9. I got this code for animating my header. But, for some reason it works with H2-3, but not my H1. The code is below. I think there is something going on with the custom css on my site. Can someone take a look? // GIF Text // h1 { background: url(GIF-URL-HERE.gif); background-size: cover; background-position: center; -webkit-background-clip: text; color: transparent; }
  10. I am using 7.1. My shop doesn't have many products, but they are split over a few categories. On the mobile or tablet styles, the shop filters are a slider. However there is no visual cue to the visitor to slide the text across. Also, on some tablets I have tested, trying to slide the filter text just changes forward and back in the browser. Can anyone help teach how me to add code that simply stacks the filter text if the screen isn't wide enough to show it in full? And/or to add some visual cue to the visitor to swipe to filter? The page in question is: https://www.simonocarrigan.com.au/shop
  11. I'm trying to change the title font of the Image Block text. I used this code below and the font has already been uploaded but it's not working. Help? Image Block Overlap Custom Font.sqs-block-image .design-overlap-poster .image-title p { font-family: "ABHAYA LIBRE" !important }
  12. Hey folks I have many rows of image stack blocks here https://www.hosetechnologies.com/industrial-rubber-hose-products What I am trying to do is have them so that each image stack block is the same height across the row I have tried adding paragraph returns etc but it is just a bodge. I have found this post below but can't figure out how to target a row and then the individual columns within the row. Any help on how to target a row and then make them all the same height would be greatfully appreciated. Tom
  13. Does anyone know how to reduce the padding of the Blog & Store sections using CSS, on v7.1? The default top margin of the blog and store gallery is way too big. Thanks!
  14. Hi, I would like to remove the index page from appearing at the bottom of a page when I scroll down whilst using the Tremont template. Please help if you know any code that may work.
  15. Hi all, i have this odd issue where a page on my website looks different if you access it from the Homepage > Page with issue, compared with pasting the 'Page with issue' URL directly into the browser. For example of you visit the homepage ( link text ), then scroll down and click the image for the 'Yes / No Tee' the top of the page looks like this (first image attached). The 3 headline lines are hugely spaced out, and all in the same font size / weight. Where as if you go directly to that page, by pasting the URL into a browser ( link text), it looks like this: (second image attached) . The headlines are now tighter, and the 3rd line is in a smaller weight / size – which is how i want it to look always. Can anyone tell me what i can do to make this happen? I feel like its carrying over CSS (or something) from the homepage which is messing up the subsequent page? Any tips very much appreciated! I'm using the Jones template
  16. Hi. I am trying to change my H1 on the home page of my site from green font to GIF animated. But I can't find the css I used to make it this way. Can someone take a look at my code and point to where it is? I want to delete it and use another code. Thanks! Here's my site css code. .image-block { -webkit-filter: drop-shadow( 5px 5px 8px #000000 ); filter: drop-shadow( 20px 15px 10px #000000 ); } // Announcement Bar Hover Color // .sqs-announcement-bar { width: 100%; 17. How to move the logo to the right upper corner in a cover page with the burke theme?
  18. Do you have ideas how to “offload” (kill/hide) a parallax image selectively with CSS? On smaller breakpoints, I'm simply covering the image with a color, but when scrolling, you can see a 1px 'sliver' bleeding-through. (so I want to “offload” (kill/hide) it on those breakpoints) When inspecting, the image is added via scripting: figure.Index-page-image.loaded The parallax section in question: <div class="Parallax-item" data-parallax-item="" data-parallax-id="5e220aae87b00d44dcb998bf" style="top: 2083px; left: 0px; width: 672px; height: 1070px; transform: translate3d(-672px, 0px, 0px);"> <figure class="Index-page-image loaded" data-parallax-image-wrapper="" style="bottom: 14px; overflow: hidden; transform: translate3d(0px, -67.4091px, 0px);"> <img data-src="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e18b3178e49c83eef94fbd0/t/5e2235b0b457e7527dde8694/1579314917946/bg-girl%402x.png" data-image="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e18b3178e49c83eef94fbd0/t/5e2235b0b457e7527dde8694/1579314917946/bg-girl%402x.png" data-image-dimensions="2500x2073" data-image-focal-point="0.5,0.22025858059715375" data-load="false" data-parent-ratio="0.6" alt="bg-girl@2x.png" style="font-size: 0px; left: -300.758px; top: 0px; width: 1273.52px; height: 1056px; position: relative;" class="" data-image-resolution="2500w" src="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e18b3178e49c83eef94fbd0/t/5e2235b0b457e7527dde8694/1579314917946/bg-girl%402x.png?format=2500w"> </figure> </div>
  19. Hey, I'm looking to add a CTA-button at the bottom of my collection.item page, but I can't seem to find any information about which button or button-like ready-made classes i can use. I tried inspecting a squarespace site and grabbing a class for styling a link as a button without any success. How can I create a styled button in within my collection.item and where can I find proper documentation for alla available CSS classes?
  20. Hi everyone, I'm using the Alex template and I'd like to increase the width of the content areas. The banner areas are full screen but the page content is narrower. Did I miss the site width setting in the design styles? Is there css I can use? I've attached some screenshots of the design I'm trying to achieve from another template where I could control the site width. The active site I'm working on is https://igcalgary.com/home Thanks for your help.
  21. Many versions of this question have been asked, but I'm a small business owner brand-new to Squarespace, I'm using 7.1, and so far none of the CSS solutions from previous versions of Squarspace seem to be working for me. I want to change the logo for individual pages - on my home page, I want my logo in its normal full-color form. For the rest of the pages, I want it to be all in white (this is to keep it visible against the backgrounds I'm giving it). I have the two separate versions of the logo (color and white). The color logo is currently on all of my pages, and the white logo is uploaded in my custom files. Is there a bit of CSS code that I can use to replace the logo in the header on any one page? Again, there are lots of answers to this already, but none are working, and I suspect it's because I am using 7.1. The answers all seem to be template-specific, but as far as I can tell, all of the templates are similar in 7.1, and I can't change my template to try different ones (??) Sorry if my question was confusing. Thank you!
  22. Dear community I have added the following CSS code to underline the active pages on my page. .main-nav ul li.active-link a, .main-nav ul li.active-link a:active { text-decoration: underline !important; } .main-nav a:hover { text-decoration: underline !important; } Now the problem is that the whole navigation folder gets underlined, but I only want the actual site. How can I do that? Somehow excluding the other pages in the folder? Here's my page: pascalreinmann.com Thanks for you help!
  23. LINK: https://kazoo-bat-bap7.squarespace.com/people PASSWORD: 1234 ///////////////////////////////////// Hello, I am losing my mind trying to create a split layout header design like this: My strategy was to create a section with a text block and an image block side by side, then to target the specific section and make the content full-bleed through custom CSS removing the padding. The problem is that the div to which the padding is associated has a "yui" id which changes at every page reload, so I do not know which selector to use to make this all happen. I can get the desired effect by removing the side padding from the .content-wrapper class, but that obv applies to the whole page which is not what I am after..... 😞 Help pls, been stuck on this for a while.

  25. Hi Everyone, I'm using the Brine template and I'm trying to make the section with the map (it's a code block) on the following index page full width. https://hexagon-energy.com/hexagon-energy-projects (pw: hexagonprojects) I'm trying the following CSS, but it's not making any changes to the page: #projects-map-section .Index-page-content { padding: 0 !important; max-width: 100% !important; } .sqs-code-block { padding: 0 !important; } If anyone has time to take a look and offer a suggestion, I would appreciate it Thanks in advance!
