  1. Hello, How do I make a full window, image only, textless cover page, that can be clicked on anywhere and lead to a title page, then index page; like a book. Thanks, TG
  2. Hello, I would like to add a countdown timer to my cover page while I refresh our actual website. I have the code and know how to add it to a normal page with a code block, but cover pages don't let you add code blocks.Has anyone been able to do this? I've tried adding it into code injection in the settings, but that doesn't work...It's a shame if it can't be added, as I'm sure lots of people would like to countdown to when their site goes live!Any help would be grateful. Many thanks x
  3. I would like to make the size of the logo on my cover page larger. I'm currently using the "Spotlight" cover page template. I don't see a way to increase the size to more than 100px, and a chat session with a SquareSpace rep revealed that making the logo larger can only be done with custom CSS code, if at all. I'd really appreciate any help. Thank you! Amy
  4. I've built a welcome/splash page for my site here. Once you click on the image in that splash page, it takes you to my /home page. When someone is navigating through the site, I want them to be able to just click the logo and go back to the /home page instead of the default splash page. What's the best way to do this? Can I just change the logo's link to go to another page on my site? Or can I somehow make visitors go to the splash page when typing in my url without designating the splash page as my homepage in the content editor? By the way, I don't have a developer's license. I've just been tweeking a template. This is a trial account and the site isn't live, so I don't know if you guys will be able to view it. I'm gonna be getting a business license this week. Any help on this would be awesome. Thanks.
  5. I have a cover page on my site that serves as the home page (seen here) and it contains two buttons: one to enter the site itself and a new one I just made so people can subscribe to my newsletter. Currently the two buttons are side by side. Is there a way to change the CSS/html for this cover page and move the Subscribe button down so it's centered just above the social media icons at the bottom? The Enter Site button used to be the main focus of the page and I'd like to keep it that way. The Custom CSS page in the Design section says you can't edit cover pages from there. Is this even possible to do? I'm using the Five theme, by the way. EDIT: In the event that I can't change the position of the Subscribe button (which is actually a form), can I at least switch the buttons around to where Enter Site is on the left?
  6. I've built a Cover Page/Splash Page for my site here using the Fulton template. Once you click on the 'Enter' in that Cover Page, it takes you to my /home-1 page. When someone is navigating through the site, I want them to be able to just click the logo at the top of the page and go back to the /home-1 page instead of the default Cover Page and have to 'Enter' again. What's the best way to do this? Does anyone know the code for the Fulton template? Thanks, Alex
  7. Hi, I have a Vimeo video that loads on my homepage, and when a user visits the page, the video shows a loading bar on the bottom of the browser. Is there a way to remove the loading bar? This can be viewed at johnfroman.com
  8. I have scoured these forums and the web and still can't find an answer to this simple question. I just want a page where SS does nothing but serve my raw html. I have tried the route of hiding various elements with custom css but evening if I get rid of the header and footer my content is still surrounded by the white border as defined by my template (which I want to preserve for the rest of the site). I also thought about trying to strip down a "cover page" but I couldn't find anywhere to add my own code. Is there any way to solve this? Thanks, - Mike
  9. Hi there, does anyone know how to customize the speed of the slideshow (that is how many seconds each image will be shown) which is running when I upload more than one image in the "imagery" section ? thanks.
  10. I've been having issues for some time with my cover page and banner photos. I have designed them so they should fit perfectly on the screen but when I upload to the site it unnecessarily zooms in on them so I lose part of the image. I have tried everything to fix them and nothing has worked...please help! Here are the links: Cover page: www.divaesmoi.com (the second image in particular, disregard the text alignment)Banner: www.divaesmoi.com/home Thanks in advance!
