  1. Hi there, It seems that there is some automatically added structured data to our website. Is it possible to remove it ? - http://prntscr.com/p31y0b Only "Corporation" is added by me, the other is automatically generated and is actually not proper for the type of business. I read an article on why the localbusiness markup is added but there was no answer on how to remove it. Regarding "Organization" and "Website" I have no idea why they marked and how to remove them. Thanks!
  2. How can I go from an "index" to an "index" using the carson template. It currently only let's you go from an "index" to a page or gallery. However, I would like for the links on the main index page open up another index page. Is there any workaround using custom code or another way to do this?
  3. Site URL: https://www.adriamarblegranite.com/ I tried to add the custom javascript code in code injection, It worked and I can see the code on all pages. But I need this form only homepage <div class="_form_8"></div><script src="https://adriamarble.*****com/f/embed.php?id=***" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script> This is my code
  4. Site URL: https://constantinetohme.com/treatments Can anyone help me I'm trying to restrict the width of 'gallery page' images on Supply template - [here] is an example of a 'gallery page' - where images are displayed vertically with text shown on the right. Does anyone know custom CSS i can use to restrict the width of those images? I just want the images to be narrower and restricted/custom width. I've tried different css but can't seem to figure it out... what's worse is when the browser window is made full screen the image also scales up and increases the width, distorting and just taking up more of the page then I want it to. Any CSS advice to fix that really appreciated! Thanks
  5. Site URL: http://www.constantinetohme.com Hey, I'm troubleshooting and trying to get the header off of one page on Supply Template, seems easy on other templates using the code below but doesn't work fully on Supply.... The best I've arrived at is the code below but it only removes the navigation / logo etc... Leaving the width of the header still occupying the left of the screen. Honestly, no idea what can be done / what is going on, any advice appreciated! <style> #header, #footer, #mobile.bar {display: none !important;} </style> This code below (which is currently not in the injection) allows me to at least allow me to get a single color on the page, but obviously doesn't remove that vertical header width, and you can see white at the bottom of the screen as well when this isn't active. Do I maybe need to resize or change the position of the main page? <style> body {background-color: #CCF5DE;} #canvas {background-color: #CCF5DE;} #main {background-color: #CCF5DE; width: 100% !important;} </style> [Here] is what the landing and inner site look like using the above color codes - again not fixing the real issue 😞
  6. I'm not super computer savvy but I would like to be able to add code my website so that someone can't come and copy and paste all of my text. Any ideas? Suggestions? Thank you. Cheryl
  7. I am trying to find a way to add small circles under my products that are filled with a certain color. I want customers to quickly be able to see a product, and the available color options under that product without having to click on it.
  8. I want to have a clean canvas: no header, no footer, no banner image or site title. I'd also like to be able to change the color from white. This page offers instructions on how to remove the header and footer. It worked for me. http://answers.squarespace.com/questions/24905/hiding-header-and-footer-on-marquee This page offers three different sets of instructions on how to remove the banner image and site title. None work for me. http://answers.squarespace.com/questions/34666/marquee-how-to-remove-bannersite-title-from-one-page-only Maybe I'm adding the code incorrectly? I tried adding the banner/title code both inside and outside the style tags with no luck. I made sure I changed the URL id with no luck. Bonus: How do I change the background color of the page?
  9. Site URL: https://www.jackrabbithill.com Hey, I am trying to inject some code that will re-direct customers who have completed a purchase to a "thank-you" page but am having no luck with it. I have injected some code into the 'Order Confirmation Page' portion of the code injection portion of the setting but it does not seem to re-direct to the thank you page. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks (Here is the code that I have used to re-direct but doesn't seem to work) <script> var timer = setTimeout(function() { window.location='/thank-you }, 1000); </script>
  10. Site URL: https://pelican-swordfish-prem.squarespace.com/ Hello all, I'm having trouble with forms. Trying to get contact information, name and phone number. Customers have Thai names and most of them use their mobile devices. Problem: Forms are not submitting on mobile devices. Can on computer. message: valid names contain only letters, numbers, spaces, or characters. Not sure what to do next? Can sqaurespace even able to read thai through mobile?
  11. I'm trying to center-align svg icons in a two column grid. I tried using this: <div style="text-align:center;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto""> When I'm in editing mode it seems to be working, but whenever I save and get back, everything collapses and turns into just one column. Anyone knows how to fix this?
  12. Site URL: http://www.harrisoncarto.com I have code blocks on my website and would like to make overflow text scroll on mobile rather than wrap. I've included the following code, which works for desktop windows but not mobile ones: pre, ul, ol, dl { font-family: courier; line-height: 1.3em; overflow: auto; } I've also included a picture of what the code looks like on mobile. Any help is appreciated.
  13. Hello, trying to figure out how to center the images in my galleries and move the copy/description at the bottom. Right now the images are left aligned and the copy is next to them on the right: http://www.giorgiabrugnoli.com/#/milan-design-week-2019/ Also trying to make it a horizontal gallery (one of those where you have arrows to click for the next image) rather than a scrolling one. Any help is really appreciated!
  14. Site URL: https://www.wellwomenpsychology.com/ I am very new to coding and squarespace. I just recently published the website. I am trying to replicate the same scroll effect as seen on this page on stripe: https://stripe.com/customers#b2b-platforms. As you scroll down the page, the second nav sticks to the top and the nav link becomes active by changing color as you scroll through the correct section of the site. Primary Problem #1: So far I have successfully made a second sticky nav under the main banner. The only thing left to do is to have the nav links change color to #46d8cb whenever you press on the nav link or whenever you scroll to the link's page within the Index. It is now day 3 and I am going crazy trying to figure this out. From all my research it seems like javasrcript or Jquery are the ways other people have solved this problem. I have tried several javascript "solutions" but none of it worked as I am sure simply cutting and pasting was my problem. But I don't know enough about the language to understand how to manipulate it. Problem #2: The sticky nav section does not float above content while scrolling in an ipad, mobile, or safari. It only works on my desktop. I just found this issue as I was writing this and I figured I would include it here to see if anyone knows a quick solution. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated! Apologies that the code below is all over the place. Here is the HTML code I injected directly onto the page within the index: <div id="div1" style="position: absolute; z-index:10000; width: 100%; padding: 0 !important; " > <div id="sticky"> <div id="secondary-menu"> <ul> <li> <a href="/types-of-therapy/#cognitive-behavior-therapy">Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)</a> </li> <li> <a href="/types-of-therapy/#dialectical-behavior-therapy">Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) </a> </li> <li> <a href="/types-of-therapy/#exposure-and-response-prevention">Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)</a> </li> <li> <a href="/types-of-therapy/#circle-of-security">Circle of Security Parenting</a> </li> <li> <a href="/types-of-therapy/#supportive-or-insight-oriented-therapy">Supportive or Insight Oriented Therapy</a> </li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> <script> $(document).ready(function(){ $("#sticky").sticky({topSpacing:0}); }); </script> And here is the CSS I added to the style editor: /*Secondary Menu for Types of Therapy Page*/ #secondary-menu { border-top: 1px solid rgba(7,96,115,.07); border-bottom: 1px solid rgba(7,96,115,.07); background-color: white; } #secondary-menu ul { list-style-type: none; padding-left: 0; margin: 0; text-align: center; } #secondary-menu li { display: inline-block; padding: 0 16px; text-transform: uppercase; font-family: Walsheim Regular; font-weight: 600; font-size: 18px; color: #8898aa; transition: color 0.8s; text-align: center; white-space: normal; } #secondary-menu li:hover { color: #32325d; } #secondary-menu li.active-link a { color: #4cdacc !important; } #secondary-menu a { display: block; padding: 25px 0; max-width: 170px; } #types-of-therapy-content .sqs-block-code { width: 100% !important; } #types-of-therapy-content .index-page-content { padding-right: 0 !important; padding-left: 0 !important; } For full disclosure, here is the script I copied and pasted into the code injector to make the second nav sticky: <!-- JQuery script to make the bottom nav bar sticky on the Types of Therpay Page --> <script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.3.min.js"></script> <script> (function($) {var defaults = {topSpacing: 0,bottomSpacing: 0,className: 'is-sticky',wrapperClassName: 'sticky-wrapper',center: false, getWidthFrom: '',responsiveWidth: false}, $window = $(window),$document = $(document),sticked = [],windowHeight = $window.height(),scroller = function() {var scrollTop = $window.scrollTop(),documentHeight = $document.height(), dwh = documentHeight - windowHeight, extra = (scrollTop > dwh) ? 16. What custom code can I add to squarespace to have the full day publish to a blog post? To look like this: WEDNESDAY, APR 29, 2020 on each blog post? This is what I have currently: APR 29, 2020
  17. Site URL: https://www.originsettlement.com I have chat bot code in Advanced > Code Injection > Footer which causes it to show on all pages. I would now only like it to appear on specific pages though. Could someone please assist me with what I think I need to accomplish which I think is to add CSS code indicating where I don't want that chat bot to show. Not sure how to write CSS code. FYI, I'm using the Bedford template. Here's the footer code... <!-- Start of HubSpot Embed Code --> <script type="text/javascript" id="hs-script-loader" async defer src="//js.hs-scripts.com/7247910.js"></script> <!-- End of HubSpot Embed Code --> Thanks in advance for your help!
  18. I'd like to add a JSON-LD FAQ schema code to a SPECIFIC blog page. Appears to not be possible. Can someone please suggest a workaround? Thanks,Brian
  19. Hello, I am using the "products" collection to show a list of all the products for sale. When you click on the item it goes to the product block where you can add it to your cart, however I would like to show another "add to cart button" under each product in the "product page" for easy selection without navigating out of the page. I cannot figure out how to add the add to cart button anywhere else but the product block. Any advice? website is https://www.milkandsass.com/shop
  20. Hi all, I am slowly learning CSS but inevitably have problems with syntax between different themes. I'm trying to change the background color (technically an overlay in this case) for the Services section on this index page. The collection ID is 59e653fc8fd4d2e4bc8651b2, which I've tried to incorporate in various ways, but I cannot get the bloody syntax right. Sofia (Brine family) has two overlays that alternate on indexes, so sometimes if you want to change the color on one section the overlay will ruin an image on another section. I'm trying to change the color to hsla(28, 100%, 44%, 0.18). The site in question: https://www.joannethedoglady.com Thanks for any and all help, hopefully I'll be asking less questions in the future and answering more!
  21. Site URL: http://rachelthor.com/ Hi there, I've been following the squarespace forum for adding code that allows me to create drop-down menus where only the heading is visible until you click it, then it toggles open to a longer explanation (often used for FAQs). This successfully worked for me on the last page I created on my site. This time around however, I'm trying to use the same code and it's weirding out on me. Working the first time I load a preview and then staying forever open after that, or continuously bouncing between open and closed. I am wondering if I have the code doubled somewhere and it's confusing itself, or what suggestions you have for clearing house and starting over to get this working across my whole site?
  22. Site URL: https://constantinetohme.com/treatments Does anyone know how I can make the images that appear on a 'gallery page' the same width? This is for supply template, and basically I just want to be able to keep the gallery page images a uniform restricted with... When the browser window is expanded the image becomes huge (way too wide); Any suggestions for css or code injection? Example of the page type [here].
  23. I have found this great feature I would love to use in my site http://codepen.io/ace/pen/BqEer. I have added the HTML and CSS and the pictures line up on top of each other (http://taberphotography.co.uk/test) but I don't understand what to do with the JS code. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks.
  24. Site URL: http://www.theuptonboston.com Hi everyone! I am trying to speed up my squarespace website and I'm stumped. Is there a way to configure caching or lazy image loading? All of my images are compressed and optimized. I'm not sure what else I can do. Has anyone else run into this before? Attached are some results of my Pingdom/lighthouse speed, test, with a score of 77% on desktop and 21 on mobile.
  25. Site URL: https://www.hi-noon.net Hi everyone! I'm trying to insert a clickable sticker / badge (a .gif on transparent background) into the upper right corner of the website (in the header). Please see the image attached. After clicking the image it would link to another page. Ideally it would only appear on the homepage, however if not possible it can be visible on all pages. Any help would be hugely appreciated! Thank you
