  1. Site URL: https://www.collective131.com/paintings Hi! Is there code to separate categories and headings in the list on shop pages? Like by Size, Maker, Object, etc.? I want it to look something like this (pic attached) Thank you!!
  2. Hello ! I have been looking everywhere for a code but I couldn't find one that works for me so, here is my problem: I want to change the look of the active link on my store category. I mostly want to remove the bold text, change it to uppercase and change the color. The code I tried is the following: But it doesn't do anything except changing the color of the links. Thank you very much in advance
  3. Site URL: https://aldricharchive.squarespace.com/ Hi Squarespace team, I have an site which is an archive of text and documents. I want to have a search bar where someone could, if they were looking for text or documents with the word 'Eastern Europe' for example, could input that word and it would bring up all pages and documents within the site which referenced that word. All i can seem to find is a search function, but this doesn't seem to actually search pages within the site. Ideally, this function could search text in text blocks on pages but ALSO the text in PDFs attached... I know this may be too much to ask, so the fall back would be that it could bring up all pages which mention the searched word within the text blocks, sitewide. Is this possible with squarespace? Or does it need some code or a 3rd party widget. Happy to do either! Thanks in advance Pete @tuanphan
  4. Hi! I tried to find a way to hide the "ALL" category on my store page, but couldn't find the solution. My store runs on the Hyde theme. There isn't an option to hide the parenting category under Store Settings or Categories. I also tried a couple of custom codes I found on the forum here, but non of them worked. Would appreciate if somebody can help me out. ๐Ÿ™‚ Kind regards, Kevin
  5. Hi everyone, Iยดm new to squarespace and currently creating our recipe website. I would like to display a blog post from one category in multiple categories. E.g. we have the recipe category "Sweet recipes" with Recipe A in there. I would like to display and add this Recipe A not only in the "Sweet recipes"-category, but also in the category "Recipe A-Z", but it should have the same URLs in both categories. So when clicking in the category "Recipe A-Z" on Recipe A, it should link me to the recipe post which was created in the category "Sweet recipes". Is a set-up like this possible? If yes, how exactly does this work? Thank you so much. ๐Ÿ™‚
  6. Hi all I have recently created a new website and have been having some issues with categories. You all are more than welcome to try by creating an Anise template, going to shop-categories and deleting all template categories, which would be bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings. Just create few new ones when you are there. Then head back to marketing-announcement bar and try to link it to a category under Shop Page. You will see the template's custom categories but not yours. More interestingly, If you log in to Squarespace app from your mobile phone and head to announcement bar, there you will see yours but not template's. I can't get rid of stock categories, I have already informed Squarespace, but if there is someone out there that can help me, I will be pleased. Maybe there is something wrong at my end. You can try to prove me wrong. Thanks for now.
  7. Site URL: http://www.amovintage.com Hi, My header is marked as transparent & sticky and works for maybe a millisecond then the background goes white, how can I fix this? I would also like my category navigation to follow the same style as my main navigation (for active links and hovers both being red) is there a ccs to enable this? Thankyou!
  8. Site URL: https://sethealthfinder.squarespace.com/providers/tag/Pediatric+Care Password for site: care Working on a site for a really good cause, to try to help people find local free health resources. I am trying to find some kind of code insertion that would allow an automatically generated breadcrumb trail to show on the tags listing / categories listing pages within the blog in 7.1. Right now if you click a certain tag it takes you to a list page of all posts with that tag โ€” but there's nothing orienting the viewer that for instance they're looking at a list of pediatric care providers. If I try to add a section above the listings section and edit it โ€” it makes the same edit for every tags page โ€” so then it would say "Pediatric" on the top of pages that were actually other tags. So there's no way that I can find to manually do it. It seems really similar to how the breadcrumb trail exists within product pages, so I'm hoping it's similar. Please, can anyone help? Thank you!
  9. Site URL: http://www.happy-skin.no/nettbutikk Hi! Is there anyway to automatically scroll to products when changing category, or stop it from refreshing the whole page on the shop page? Spesific page: http://www.happy-skin.no/nettbutikk Password for website: 1111
  10. Hi there, Looking for help with some custom CSS for an ecommerce site. Iโ€™m looking to remove the grey horizontal line and reduce the font size of the category titles. ๐Ÿ™ƒ
  11. Site URL: https://www.cboothandson.co.uk/mens-grooming Hello, I was hoping someone could help me with this. I would like the category navigation bar to be visible to the customer as they scroll down the product page. There seems to be several solutions for making a 'sticky page header' but that isn't what I'm looking for. I only want the 'category navigation' to stick and the products to scroll behind it. Please see below for a screenshot highlighting exactly what part of the page I want to stick as the customer scrolls. Thank you in advance.
  12. Site URL: https://vacantlandofthefree-2.squarespace.com/config/pages We're currently building a new website for our business, and we've grown fond of Squarespace due to using it for our Coworking space. We're now building one for our land properties. QUESTION: Is there a way for us to auto-hide (not remove, but HIDE) categories that don't have products in it? The reason we don't want to remove the categories (as per Squarespace Support's suggestion) is because we will occasionally have properties within areas indicated on our categories, and we don't want to go through the hassle of removing/adding categories every single time. Hopefully someone can help us. Thanks!
  13. Site URL: https://www.aditya-sinha.com/ Hi, I am looking to make the text on a blog page sticky, in order for it to stay on top of the page and serve as a sub-navigation for the blog posts below. I'm trying to achieve a similar Work page as is here: http://www.lauramccluskey.com/, with the categories/tags at the bottom of the page. Is there any method through Custom CSS and not Code Injection to possible achieve this? Password: tester
  14. Site URL: https://www.abstractg.art/ Hi there! I added a product section to my site that is all of my categories with pictures and linked to the category's page when clicked on- however when you are brought to the category's page, all of the categories with pictures are still at the top of the page and you have to scroll past them every time you get to a new page within "shop now". I want it so that the categories with pictures section only shows up on the original shop now page and that when you click on a category you are brought to that categories page and don't have to scroll past all the categories again. Please take a look at my sight and let me know what you think could help or some smart changes that could be made!! Thanks!!!
  15. Site URL: https://www.addictgalerie.com Hello I would like to know if it was possible to modify the design of category filter in a shop. I want my categories to be buttons (like the button "en savoir plus"). is it possible?
  16. Site URL: https://www.addictgalerie.com/mobiliers-shop Hello I managed to change the order of my categories in the shop thanks to this coding: /* reorder category links */ ul.ProductList-filter-list { display: -webkit-box; display: -ms-flexbox; display: flex; -webkit-box-pack: center; -ms-flex-pack: center; justify-content: center; } /* All */ ul.ProductList-filter-list>li:nth-child(2) { order: 2; } Link page: https://www.addictgalerie.com/mobiliers-shop It works perfectly and is easy to understand. However I have several shop pages and this code modifies the categories of all my pages. Do you have a solution to make the coding only interact with one page? Thank you
  17. How do you hide the 'all' category in the pages menu. There is not option to turn it off. I just want to show my individual categories only Thanks T_S_P
  18. Site URL: https://adaptology.squarespace.com Is it possible to get the product category or tags to appear below the product title on any product page or block? This is what I'm hoping to achieve ( if "Energising Mushroom" is the category or tag) Thanks!
  19. Hello Is there a way to create a phone or organization directory list with search or a lookup function based on department or category of people and function?ThanksBuck
  20. Site URL: https://vanilla-giraffe-r387.squarespace.com/bioceste I'm setting my ecommerce, but i don't find the categories bar! Am I missing something? Thankyou
  21. Site URL: https://lustrelove.co/shop Hey there. I am trying to customize the category labels (Buy Once | Subscribe & Save 10%) on my store page - I want to change the font family and size. Secondly, what would be the code if I decided to hide it altogether? I appreciate any insight! https://lustrelove.co/shop
  22. Hi, I was wondering if it possible to be able to create a different header for each category within the shop? For example, I have categories such as rugs, furniture, beds.... but once a customer drills down into each category, I want there to be a header explaining the categories better with an image and some text (I can create the images with the text included so no need for the text part.) I have attached examples on a site that I love. as you can see, each category has a different header.
  23. Site URL: https://www.foodnwhine.com/journal/beet-ricotta-lasagna-with-brown-butter-amp-poppy-seeds In the past, I've been able to add multiple tags and/or categories when using a summary block (on a blog page) to share similar blog posts. I noticed a recent "update" to both 7.0 and 7.1 and after that update, I can now only enter one tag or category in a summary block. Is there a way around this?
  24. Hi all, Short Description I'd like to suggest the addition of the ability to exclude blog posts by category when creating a gallery of posts. Verbose Description A site I'm developing for a client employs several separate blog instances. One blog instance is for managing which employees are displayed on team pages. We can quickly add/remove team members simply by adding/changing/removing a category from their bio. We can slice and dice employees using categories like title or division. It's really quite handy. Another blog I'm using on that same site is for managing the display of projects executed by this client, with separate pages created for each project type. Galleries work really great and allows automatic updating of category pages โ€“ adding a new project to a gallery is as simple as making a new post and then applying the correct category to it. I can even reorder items by changing their publication date and time - it's a hack, but it works! But I think I found a missing feature... We already have the ability to constrain posts by specifying which categories we want to feature. However, we do not have the ability to exclude post types by category. Programmatically speaking, this isn't difficult. Anyway, thanks for reading. This has been my first post to this community. I have been increasingly pleased with my ability to customize the Squarespace platform to achieve design behavior above and beyond the standard templates. I fully expect for this request to exclude posts by category to go nowhere, but as they say: nothing ventured, nothing gained. At least I tried!
  25. Site URL: https://www.royaldrawingschoolexhibits.org Hi This in regards to a small styling issue with the secondary categories menu - I can't see that it's something I can change using Squarespace style tools myself. I'm hoping this is a very simple CSS fix - Unfortunately I don't know any CSS myself! I have added categories to my store that display at the top - and that looks fine. When you click on one of the categories to filter, the categories menu changes to 'All/' This is fine - however it's styled with practically no space between the menu All/ and the top line of images and I can't see how to change this. Is there a simple CSS fix? Many thanks for your help!
