  1. Site URL: https://www.freeflowtherapy.co.uk I'm redesigning my site into impact and trying to find a way to code a floating side button to book online, rather than just on the title and at points throughout the page. I was trying to follow this but with no luck: https://beatrizcaraballo.com/blog/add-floating-book-button-squarespace Can anyone help with this?
  2. Site URL: https://www.hotherside.com Hello πŸ™‚ Would love to get help on how to move the Size, Quanity and Add to cart button just below the price.
  3. Site URL: http://www.marleyshouseofsport.com In my settings for my template I have all buttons for my site set to "pill" shaped. However for two buttons on just one of my pages I need them to be square with a border. Firstly how do I do this? Secondly, in the past when I have customised something similar to this in this way I am using a block ID for that particular button to change things in the CSS code.. however in the case of client accounts where I have to duplicate a page over and over again.. making this change for every duplicate page in the CSS is the only way I've been able to make these changes. How then can I create a page with these sort of custom CSS alterations that I can then simply duplicate into another identical page? Would I need to inject that code into that particular page instead? Any help would be very much appreciated. - Dan
  4. Site URL: http://www.brentstirton.com/ Hi, I am working with a trial page of the wells template and am having issues with large captions. I saw Brent Stirton's page and saw his caption button layout, so i'm asking if anyone knows how to code for this. Thanks.

  7. I have a button on my homepage that I want to have go directly to the checkout page on my site since we only have one product available. When I enter the URL, it will works perfectly fine and seems to have been saved. However, if I log out of square space and reopen the site, the button does not have the URL saved and I have to re-enter the URL. Any suggestions?
  8. Hi there, Is there a way to automatically open default email client with pre-populated content from a button on 7.1? I'm guessing it may need J query injection, as it won't work by simply adding pre-populated content on email linked button unless there is an email address in the field. But if you want user to share they they'll need 'To:' blank so they can add in email recipient's address themselves. Any help appreciated. Thanks Marc
  9. Site URL: https://www.jonnehansson.com/ I wonder if it's possible to remove "Back to..." and "Prev/Next" in pages within the Index page? Thank you for the help in advanceπŸ™‚ Very best Jonne jonnehansson.com
  10. Site URL: https://projectsinsider.squarespace.com/ Hi all, I'm trying to get some coding to work with a pop up button from Typeform. For some reason, they have been unable to supply the code so I am hoping I have some luck here. Website - https://projectsinsider.squarespace.com/ Pass - lifeisgood Page - https://projectsinsider.squarespace.com/real-estate-melbourne/typeform Script: <script src="//embed.typeform.com/next/embed.js"></script><center><a style="margin-top: 16px;border: 2px solid #ff8500;color: #ff8500;"><button data-tf-popup="lQlkhSSq" data-tf-hide-headers data-tf-hidden="urlsource=xxxxx,property=xxxxx,suburbofinterest=xxxxx" style="all:unset;font-family:;display:inline-block;max-width:100%;white-space:nowrap;overflow:hidden;text-overflow:ellipsis;background-color:transparent;font-size:18px;border-radius:0px;color:#ff8500;padding:0 50px;font-weight:bold;height:50px;cursor:pointer;line-height:50px;text-align:center;margin:0;text-decoration:none;">Register Your Interest</button></a></center> The code above is my attempt that has resulted in the image below using a code block. Ideally it would be great to have the button look and behave exactly like my Squarespace buttons, image as seen below. Even better if somehow the code can be coded in such a way so that it references my Squarespace button settings/preferences and so if i do decide to change any styling in the future, all my buttons will automatically change accordingly whether its color or font or size. Upon hovering over the button above, the text color becomes white and the button color becomes #ff8500. Appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!
  11. Site URL: https://mmsaudio.squarespace.com/styles Hello all. I love the flex buttons in 7.1 (new convert to 7.1 here after holding out as long as I could). Unfortunately, the same old thing is happening: buttons on forms and newsletter blocks are basically not customizable. I would love the Submit buttons on the form and newsletter block to have the same behavior as the standard buttons and navigation button. Help? pass: mmsrox
  12. I would like to make all buttons be in the center of the page for the mobile version. Since there are some buttons that positioned at the side and some buttons that are positioned in the center and would like it to look all unison. Thanks
  13. Site URL: https://www.leaportho.com/schedule-a-consultation I am trying to add this custom link into the button so that the button will take the site visitor to the scheduler for my office software. The office management software gave me this link to use: <a href="https://www.anywheredolphin.com/forms/www.leaportho.com/t2gIDTgZ5E+JxjdOctQavg">New Patient Online Form </a But, when I put that into the button link, I lose the shape of the button and the display is this: The word display is active and can be use to schedule an appointment through my management software. Why do I lose the "shape" of the button when I insert that link? Thanks in advance!
  14. Hi there, Having difficulty working out how to increase the size of text inside buttons I add to a site I'm working on. Have seen a couple of other posts on the subject but haven't discovered a solution that works. In the Design-Site Styles-Fonts-Buttons section I can adjust the size of how big a small, medium or large button appears, the weight of the font and the letter spacing. In the Design-Site Styles-Buttons section I can adjust the padding (which just increases and decreases the size of the buttons themselves again). If in the Fonts section I increase the font Base Size (which I don't want to do as only want to change the button text size) this increases the font size in the button, but also the size of the button itself. I can't find how to change the size of the actual text which appears within the button. Any help gratefully received.
  15. Hello! I'm trying to find out how to style buttons like the one from the attached photo. The URL to the website is also below. Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you! https://studioluxe.co/about
  16. Site URL: https://planpals.co.uk/corporateevents Hi All, Looking for some code help. I would like to add a floating "Enquire" button on the bottom right of all pages of my site which opens a contact form in a lightbox on click. Looked around and tried a few options I've seen but couldn't get any solutions to work for some reason. 17. Site URL: https://vizchange.net I have a website where I present climate and weather data visualizations. I have it setup on several tablet and touchscreen computers at a national park visitor center and hotel. I am trying to minimize the scrolling on pages to encourage the website to be explored as much as possible, so I am trying to limit any hurdles on various devices, for example, scrolling. If you go to an example visualization (blog entry), I would like to add a button that takes the user back a single page. I have found code to do this, but it has limitations. For example, I would like the button to be styled by the SquareSpace site to keep the buttons consistent. Alternatively, if I add a 'button' block then I cannot add CSS/HTML code to the button, only navigation to a specific page. I would like simply to have the user go "back" one page in the browser history. Suggestions?
  18. Site URL: https://www.bassfreedom.com Hi there! I run a subscription website for bass guitar lessons. Within my site, I have loads of lessons and courses. Does anyone know how I get my logged in members a way to keep track of the lessons they watch/complete? I've seen other sites that have a "mark lesson complete" button (example attached) which is what I'm looking for! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  19. Site URL: https://meeting-house-fabric.squarespace.com I seem to find similar questions to this, but no definitive answer to my issue. Despite telling my client that users can make use of their browser's back button, she has insisted I put a styled back button on her site's shopping pages. Originally I turned on breadcrumbs, but frankly, SS's implementation of that feature is terrible, and it doesn't quite give me the functionality I need. So I added a code block that works with the site's overall style, and am able to put it on the collections pages (see first screenshot), but not on a product's detail page (which is where she wants it most!). Can anyone help me add the back button in roughly the same spot on the product's detail page? (See second photoshopped screenshot for how I'd like it to look.) website: https://meeting-house-fabric.squarespace.com pass: fabric button: <button style="width: 90px" class="outline_btn3" onclick="history.back(-1)"/><center>Back</center></button> css: .outline_btn3 { border-style: solid; border-width: 2px; border-color: #9c9a84; background-color: transparent; color: #9c9a84; padding: 12px 24px; font-size: 15px; cursor: pointer; } .outline_btn3:hover { background-color: #9c9a84; color: #ffffff; }
  20. Please help-- I am so confused. I have been trying to make a Portfolio site. I was advised to use the BLOG module instead of the Portfolio (which is fine) I can't figure out how to create the page hierarchy as shown in the attached image. (I have all of my projects on the detail page organized by category) The problems I run into is the LOOK- I want the summary to look like a protfolio button-- the kind where you hover over for the title....etc.
  21. Site URL: https://www.dermaskinandbody.com/ Hello! My client wants both calls to action to always be on each page of her site in the mobile navigation as you scroll. I am currently using SS 7.1 and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to custom code this. I need to basically make a sticky nav with the CTAs. Any help is much appreciated. Site is below: https://www.dermaskinandbody.com/
  22. Site URL: https://www.martinezlondon.com/ Hi There, Is there a way that when someone is logged into a members area, the main header button changes? Before login our objective is application forms, once logged in its for table bookings. Any recommendations or CSS code to set this up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Charlotte
  23. Site URL: https://opera-stl.org/ Is there a way to see the clicks/analytics for the button in the header? I'm not seeing any stats for that button in particular in the list of button stats in the Analytics tab. Note: I did add an extra header button with code, so that may be messing with some things on the back end.
  24. Site URL: https://pomegranate-badger-p3wd.squarespace.com/ Hi, I'm trying to customize the newsletter form button on hover, and unable to figure it out. Here is the code I have so far (edits the padding, font type, color, border) button.newsletter-form-button.sqs-system-button { color: black !important; border: 2.22px dashed #000000 !important; padding: 10px 44px !important; font-family: 'ApercuR'!important; } button.newsletter-form-button.sqs-system-button:hover { background-color: #ffe3a7 !important; opacity: 1 !important; } But every time, I hover over the "submit" button it fully goes black. Here is the code that works for my Contact Us form, that is working perfectly that I'm trying to replicate for my newsletter. .sqs-block-form .sqs-editable-button { color: black !important; border: 2.22px dashed #000000 !important; padding: 10px 44px !important; //height and width font-family: 'ApercuR'!important; } .sqs-block-form .sqs-editable-button:hover { background-color: #ffe3a7 !important; opacity: 1 !important; } Would anyone be able to weigh in on this?
  25. Site URL: https://olympicpride.org/ I want to create a quick exit button that floats or banner, on squarespace, for our LGBTQ+ pride page for safety purposes, so that people can exit quickly if needed. I followed a thread that was talking about doing this but I could not get it to work. I do not know how to code but I can follow step by step instructions really well. Please help me. https://olympicpride.org/
