  2. Site URL: http://www.stampdesignco.com Hi, Does anyone know how I can change the colour of just one index page on my homepage, to make it stand out? I tried adding a coloured banner which worked, but then the H1 title changed colour (because it became an overlay) and I couldn't work out how to change it back to black! The section I'm wanting to change colour is the instagram-lookbook section on the homepage. Site password is 'spaceform1' Thanks, Enma
  3. Site URL: https://kelly-koester-dg9z.squarespace.com/home-brine I can't tell if I missed an obvious step on the Brine Template. I am making summary blocks, connected to orders, throughout the website to hold a variety of featured books. Is there not a spot for making excerpts for orders? If not, is there a css code I can use to shorten the content in the summary blocks so all of it isn't showing? Thanks!
  4. Site URL: https://www.catherine-smith.co.uk/new-home Hi, I'm just trying to change the background and h1 colours for one page of my site https://www.catherine-smith.co.uk/new-home I'd like this index page (which will be the home page when I'm finished) to have a pink background - for all sections - and white h1 text. I have been going round in circles trying different code snippets but I'm clearly doing something wrong. Help!
  5. Hi, I'm currently rebuilding our website in Mercer/Brine (we were using Flatiron previously). I am trying to find a way to hide the meta (tags & categories) of blogposts when on the main blog page (I want them to appear on the individual post page). I've had a search around, tried out a bunch of custom CSS, can obviously get the meta to disappear on both but can't figure it out - maybe it just isn't possible? Any help would be much appreciated.
  6. Site URL: https://yellow-cowbell-ha72.squarespace.com/config/ Hi! I have a list of queries with coding with CSS, so any help I would be very appreciative! To give context, this is for my personal portfolio which I am using the brine template. I have little experience with CSS and trying to work out the harder kinks for my pages. I have come across a website that I really like the design of and want to implement some of the features into my own. This website is not built with Squarespace, so a lot of my queries would be whether its possible use CSS coding and add them into
  7. Site URL: https://fife-deer-hznw.squarespace.com/ I'm using brine. I've tried a few methods in css to increase the marketing announcement bar's font size. Nothing's working. It's set at 13 and it's too small (I want all the sites fonts to be no smaller than 14px) .sqs-announcement-bar-text {font-size: 1.3rem !important; } seems to increase the font *line-height* but not the actual font *size* I've also tried: @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) .sqs-announcement-bar-text, p { font-size: 14px; !important;} This isn't working either. The "p" is b
  8. Site URL: https://bagpipe-dahlia-4zzj.squarespace.com/our-properties Hi, I am trying to organise my Gallery Blocks / Text / Buttons to display in the same order on my mobile as it does on desktop. When viewing on desktop and tablet, the gallery, text and button blocks go from left to right in order of price in there 3 columns (no filter, it's just the way i've laid it out), but when displaying on mobile, the order changes and it goes down the first column, then the second, then the third. How do I make it so it keeps the same order when displaying on mobile? The website p
  9. I am trying to make an animated underline on hover. would be nice if the underline remained for the active page. I found this but the underline is miles away from the navigation and does not stay on for the active page..... Anybody have any suggestions? Much appreciated.. .Header-nav-item { position:relative; height: 60px; line-height: 60px; text-align: center; transition: 0.5s; padding: 0 20px; cursor: pointer; -webkit-transition:0.5s;} .Header-nav-item:hover { background-color: transparent; border-color: transparent; color: #000000;} .Header-nav-item:hover:before{ transition-delay: .2

  11. I see you have an old post in the help console reference this question. We want the homepage navigation to look like this site https://www.thecuratedexperience.ca/ with the white background. All the other pages seem to be fine.

Thanks,Andrew T Header { position: fixed; top: 0; left: 0; right: 0; z-index: 999 } // fix mobile nav .Mobile-bar--top { position: fixed; top: 0; left: 0; right: 0; background: #85C1E9; } .Mobile-bar { position: fixed; z-index: 99999; } // move mobile overlay down .Mobile-overlay-menu-main { padding-top: 80px; }
  13. Hi, I recently purchased this mega menu plugin-not realising it wouldn’t work when accessing the site on a mobile device. Does anyone know how I can also set up my mobile navigation as a mega menu? (I’m not bothered about it popping out, just having folders within folders if you get me). I’m using the Brine template if that helps! Thanks all!
  14. Hello! Has anyone successfully transformed the banner on the 1st page of a brine template to another image? I would like the initial image to slowly fade into another image after page loading?
  15. Site URL: https://tangerine-pear-2fep.squarespace.com/config/ There is one section in the nav (schedule and classes) that doesn't accept the css that I put in, but all of the other nav items do. I'm at a total loss. There's an underline when you click on it, but I did css so that doesn't happen and it works on other nav items, but not on that one. Same for color changes. the published site is akashayogajh.com

  18. We have a bridal boutique website project where the client doesn't want to sell online, but have a wish list feature that collects dresses together which are emailed to herself and her client. We are not fixed on a template yet so we can build out on any template. The idea being that the dresses can be tried on at an appointment. Does anyone know of a plugin we could buy that would allow us to create a wish list which collects products and emails them? Alternatively, we had initially thought about using the shop and disabling the pricing and adapting the button text to "add to favou
  19. I am working on a client website below: http://url.com/www.elizabethmckenzieflorals.com password: flowers Page needing to address: Meet Saige I am wanting to overlap a text block with a colored background over a full-width image block as shown below in the screenshot. 20. Hi, all - wondering if it's possible to display tags for a blog post in addition to/separately from other metadata (e.g. category, date), and elsewhere on the page. Context: I'm using the Brine template. Under "Site Styles," you can set "primary" and "secondary" metadata to display on any given post — and you can only display two metadata types. By default, those two pieces of metadata display under the blog post title, as below (here, I'm displaying Categories and Date). Question: What I'm wondering is — is it possible to, in addition to the "Prima

  22. Site URL: https://www.thepinkchampa.com/home Is there a way to move the Customer Account Link to the Hamburger Menu ? 23. Site URL: http://www.beckerwhitedesign.com Hi there! I've edited my website so that the mobile menu is visible on both desktop and mobile devices, but I'm trying to push the menu down so that you can see the white mobile bar at all times. I've managed to do so for everything EXCEPT when the menu is closing, in which case it snaps to the top. I'm also unsure as to why the "fade effect" isn't working when I open the menu. If anyone has suggestions for either of these issues, I'd greatly appreciate it! www.beckerwhitedesign.com .is-mobile-overlay-active .Mobile-overl
  24. Site URL: https://eveslaughterart.com/ Hi, I hope someone can help me. My website displays my artwork. On my homepage, I use a gallery block to showcase each piece. Each image opens into a lightbox. On desktop, all you have to do is hover and you can see the description. Which is fine. However, when viewed on a mobile device, in order to see the lightbox description, the viewer has to click on a small unlabeled DOT in the lower right to view the image description. You barely see the dot, and it isn't clear that a viewer needs to click on it. Is there a way to have the image descri
