Hi, Coming unstuck with using spacers to push content around. I have a page which is a child of a navigation bar link. Because the page is included in a drop down menu, I can't use an index page. I have wanted to recreate the look of the "features" module within Index pages, and while it looks good on desktop and tablet, the ordering of the content going out of whack on mobile (the icons no longer over the content). The part of the page I am talking about is "The Clean Plate Menu Planning System" Is there a way of saving this as it is? Or can anyone suggest a way to reconstruct it within the "page" structure, so I get a better result on mobile? Best regards.

I cannot find an option in Site Styles to change it. While not visible on Desktop, on Mobile the "Schedules & Rates" background video does not appear and instead a #f04f0a coloured background is shown. I hope to change this background to #FF870F on the Intro for every page. Thank you! SOLVED: It turns out "Overlay Color" in Main: Overlay was set to 0% opacity, but it was still visible on mobile. Changed the colour to the one I wanted, left it at 0% opacity, and it now works perfectly!

Hi There, I am not hugely confident with squarespace. We are using Brine and it is 7.0 version. A couple of questions: 1) I need to take my client's website offline temporarily while I shift some pages around (changing the navigation). Can anyone suggest how I do this? 2) If the website is live, and I am restructuring within a page, is the best approach to work on a duplicate hidden page then replace the orginial age once the changes have been made? Hello, It would be great if someone could help me with an issue - the cart button is not visible on the mobile version of our website. I have enabled the express checkout so that our clients could do their shopping but it is not a great solution if they want to buy more than one item. Currently, I use Squarespace's default site search tool (see top left of webpage: www.bigbiology.org). However, recently it has been buggy, so I do not get consistent results. I use the Brine template. So, I want to add a Google Programmable Search Engine. Previous posts have discussed how to add it within a code block on a single page, but is there a way to add it to the header? I want to replace the default Squarespace search bar with this Google one. Hello! I've seen similar threads regarding this but I'm struggling to figure out if it is possible to correct my issue. I have an FAQ page that I like the appearance of while in Desktop mode, but in Mobile mode it stacks awkwardly with photos appearing before and after the FAQs. Am I able to make the Mobile version display in columns instead of stacked on top of eachother? Thank you! -

I've already set the mobile bar background to be transparent in Site Styles. This has the effect shown in the first screenshot, the background image is not visible underneath. I then add the following code, courtesy of @tuanphan on another thread (thank you for all your contributions): .Mobile-bar.Mobile-bar--top { position: absolute; z-index: 999; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; } We can now see the background image but the content has moved up and the main body is now overlapping with the header (see second screenshot). If possible, I would like the same layout and positioning as the first screenshot but with the transparent bar and background image visible like the second screenshot. I run a blog on our dance studio's website for parents and dancers that acts as a hub for all information during our performance season. Therefore, once the show is over and we are ready for a new show, 90% of the posts become inaccurate to current info, and I'd like to be able to archive them or make them unlisted from the main blog page. I can't find anywhere to do this, but wasn't sure if I'm missing something or if there is a similar enough function that would work? I don't want to straight up delete the posts because they are useful for archival purposes and reference for our office staff. I'm fine if they are still accessible by their URL, but I don't want them showing up in the main list of articles for anyone glancing at the page. Currently, I just edited all of the articles to be "needs review" in order to effectively un-publish them; however, this leaves the dash pretty messy looking (see below), because it's just this huge chunk of articles that you have to scroll through when managing posts. To me, it seems like an inefficient way of doing what I'm trying to do, and I'd rather if we could just file them away. Let me know if there's something else I can do to keep these posts unlisted!

Unless Squarespace is updating something, I can't edit my site. When I hit the hit "edit" button nothing happens. Every other button seems to work, like when I press the banner button, or settings. But edit doesn't. Is anyone else having an issue? I emptied my cache and cookies. My browsers all accept third-party cookies. I also tried using the edit button on 3 different browsers and the same thing happens. I've used the latest Chrome, Firefox and Edge. I recently added a code from some "elf sight" but I can't imagine that's the issue. I used a code block for that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have already uploaded a CSS code to add a background to the bottom header, which is where I have the nav buttons displayed so that it looks like they have a background bar. I added some code to reduce the margin top on my other pages and the nav buttons display, but no background... I also noticed that the text is black, and with the background, I would prefer for them to be white. Please advise!!! I have included pictures of one of the child pages showing the nav buttons with no background and a picture of my homepage with the desired nav buttons featuring a colored background. I thought all Brine family templates had top, middle and bottom footer blocks, but I'm in Clay and do not see a middle option. I would like to add a newsletter block to my footer and have it appear next to the footer navigation. Any tips or hacks would be great! Would like it to look like footer in image. Thanks!

I tried many attempts to have the previous and the next button straight. Currently the PREVIOUS button is above the NEXT button. I tried adjusting the line height to zero in site style but it's still not aligned. It would be greatly appreciated if anybody knows how to solve this and makes them straight. However, I only want this function enabled on desktop/tablet view only, not on smaller mobile screens.
