  1. Site URL: https://www.moondustagency.com/knowledge-center/how-to-optimise-website-for-voice-search Hi All, I love my website designed with Brine BUT the large white spaces on the sides of the blog posts drive me nuts. Also, some photos as well as videos will occupy the whole width, which is not really good looking. How can I use CSS to make the text bloc containers wider and the pictures limited to the same width, and still keep it all responsive? I don't have this issue on Mobile, so I need help to change that on Desktop mostly. Thanks! (post URL: https://w
  2. I'd like to be able to use the entire width of the footer area. Currently my 3 columns are bunched to the left and the effect is sloppy and cramped. I'd prefer that they be spaced out evenly across the page. I tried asking Live Chat but their only suggestion was that I use stacked rather than columns. Fine, but that's not what I'd like to do.Any suggestions? Also, despite the fact that Styles says that I have the same font and sizes for Navigation and body text, they're clearly different. Can that be adjusted? website: RuffStuffTreats.compassword: SpentGrainTreats
  3. Site URL: https://lonsdalestudio.com/ Hi I'm planning to migrate from Moksha (Brine family) 7.0 to version 7.1? Does anyone know of a template most similar to Moksha in version 7.1? And yes I'm aware I can use any elements in 7.1, I just want a starting point similar to my current site. Thanks!
  4. Hi There - I'm trying to edit the "from" before the pricing on my products to say, for example, "6-packs from" on a product by product basis to make it clearer to our customers what we're offering for that cheapest variant. Is there a way to accomplish that through tags and a little custom CSS? Thanks
  5. Site URL: https://www.effinghamvillagewine.com/events Ugh, the worst part about Squarespace is the lack of complete control. No, I don't want to be a computer science major just to be able to tweak something. There needs to be a level between "we'll hold your hand through everything" and "Web Developer PhD". For instance, this comma stuck between the event categories metadata. There is nowhere to get rid of this and I can't for the life of me figure it out with custom css or anything else you can do without developer mode. Any ideas??
  6. I want the image Title & Description to appear below the slideshow (rather than overlapping the image). Has anyone done this in Brine? Temp URL is https://horse-blue-mllf.squarespace.com/landscapes pp: wyunabayartist I've had multiple attempts at adapting other people's code for this and no joy.I'm just learning CSS so would appreciate any advice.
  7. Site URL: https://lonsdalestudio.com/ciara-antony Hi can anyone tell me how to add a border to the images in my stack gallery? Thanks!
  8. Site URL: https://lonsdalestudio.com/ Hi does anyone know if Square space natively supports international dates yet? Ie dd/mm/yyyy. Last time I checked they didn't and I have a work around but it's very clumsy. Thanks!
  9. Hi Circle Peeps Is there a quick snippet anyone knows of that can be inputted into custom css to reduce the padding on an indexed page for mobile? I would like to reduce the padding above the titles for just mobile version. TIA!!!! :)
  10. Hello everyone, I'm trying to display my navigation menu vertically instead of horizontally on my website : https://coconut-bagpipe-9nzc.squarespace.com/home I would highly appreciate your help as I've been trying for a few days to find this out ! Thank you Robin
  11. I'm looking for some help in enabling multiple images loading on the homepage of my Mentor template website. Is this possible? If yes, can someone point me in the right direction to enable it? website: https://www.futuregenerationtrust.co.uk/
  12. Site URL: https://lonsdalestudio.com/ Hi does anyone know code to put a border around the images on my stack gallery? Thank you in advance!
  13. Site URL: https://commonfarms.com/edible-plants-of-hk-vol-1 I wanted to create three columns of text side by side, so I used three content blocks. On desktop the columns look fine, and they are reshuffled correctly on top of each other on mobile. However, on tablet view the columns do not preserve the right look of the text and squeeze each other to one side. Would appreciate any advice on fixing this issue. desktop view tablet view
  14. Hi there, I'd like to add a background to my website that is similar to this example: https://www.ginlane.com/ I've managed to work out how to just add a background color gradient, but it isn't quite the effect I'm after and I'd more so like to add a gradient/color change that activates on scroll. As I will be using colors that don't necessarily gradate (as per the example above), I'm wondering if instead of looking for a gradient option I should be looking for an option that would offer a smooth transition between background colors instead? I'm using the Mentor template, which is in the
  15. Site URL: https://cinnamon-guitar-2zdw.squarespace.com/blog/s Hello, I would like to change the line blocks (between blog posts) on my blog index page into an image. Can anyone advise please? Site password: 7512
  16. Site URL: https://cinnamon-guitar-2zdw.squarespace.com/blog Hello, I need help with adding a background image to my blog index page with css. ...or, adding a background image to to the wrapper of each blog post. I've been playing around with this code, but nothing is working: .tweak-blog-list-style-stacked .BlogList-item-image { background-image: url(IMAGE URL HERE) width: 100%; max-width: 500px; } If anyone can please advise, I'd really appreciate it! 17. Okay, I'm working on a site using the Autotunes template from the Brine family in 7.0. We are not currently selling anything, though we plan to later. However, in the meantime I want to remove the shopping cart icon since there is no shopping cart. How do I do that?
  18. //Adds extra space to header .Mobile{ padding-top: 1.5%; padding-bottom: 1.5%; } Hi! I have a client who added a hamburger menu on mobile (using the code above) and now they want to add a social media icon on the navigation bar. The font awesome work around is not working and I'm not sure how else to implement this? Help!
  19. I limited the with of my blog post content to 650px but images still show up full width. How do I contain the width of image (and video) blocks with CSS to 650px (centered) without squishing the image? I can't seem to figure it out.
  20. Hi, Anyone knows how to add layers of images like on this page? https://thedenizencowinnie.squarespace.com/ I would like to add an image like the one in the background here, which does not take the whole width of the screen and sort of sits behind the image blocks.. I've tried with a png - adding my image on a clear background but I was wondering if there might be a better, easier way? Thanks!
  21. Site URL: http://sparhawk-demo.squarespace.com/?password=demo Is there a way to set a different content inset for the first banner section of an index page in Brine using CSS? I'd like to have a content inset of 2 for content overlaying the first banner image and 3 for all other content. The site-wide content inset is currently set at 3.
  22. Can anyone recommend custom code/plugin for creating a push navigation similar to this site? https://workhiveslc.com/ I'm using the Brine Template and am assuming it'll need to be code injection for the header. Maybe someone knows of a site offering or selling the plugin code? I know I can mimic this - sort of - by forcing the mobile hamburger to desktop by increasing the mobile breakpoint, but that means the menu background covers the entire desktop screen. Hoping to find partial coverage code. Thank you!
  23. Site URL: https://www.hubbyco.com/positively-earnest I'm trying to have the captions on view at all times in lightbox view (from a gallery grid), not just on hover. I don't care if it is overlay or below, it just needs to always be there. Thank you for any help!
  24. Site URL: https://www.tierratraveler.com/home I am a novice attempting custom css... I followed Thirty Eight Visuals tutorial on 'adding an overlapping logo to your footer in Brine' and my logo is not showing up on the page. Curious if anyone can provide some guidance. Many thanks! The code provided is as follows: .Footer { position: relative; } .Footer::before { background-image: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5ced253de3cf090001e8017e/t/5d77a536f455f4647c54b991/1568122166263/Logo.png); background-size: contain; content: ''; height: 100px; pointer-events: none;
  25. Site URL: https://www.hubbyco.com/positively-earnest The caption below images in the gallery grid view is body text by default. Is there a tweak to make it italic and bold without effecting body text elsewhere on site? Thank you!
